I started and finished this book in one day. I couldn’t put it down. Now I find myself hoping the library had the next two books. The book grabs you almost from the first page and I really like the juxtaposition of Christianity and Muslim faiths. The characters are honest, heartfelt and real. You want to see good triumph over evil. I especially liked the meaning behind the “black keys”. Looking forward to the next book!!Black Keys
Loved the concept of the ‘black keys’. At times, I was tired of the repeat situations, but all in all I loved the two main characters and their love for each other. So much, I purchased white locks.
Love can conquer a multitude of hurts betrayals prejudices and sin. Characters made you want to cheer for a happily ever after
Really makes you think about your beliefs
Couldn’t get enough of this book! A must read!
Very spellbounding, how Islam beliefs and American can blend together in a romantic love story. Very touching characters.
Wonderful. I have read all the books to this story and absolutely loved all of he characters. However tragic in some parts, but also the romance and love amongst the king and his wife. One of those stories that you just want it to keep going on and on and never end.
Can’t wait to read the next book in the series!
Great book. Eye opening look at the Muslim culture and very entertaining. Great love story
With s twist
Entertaining and interesting, enjoyable.
If you love reading love stories with heart. With twists and turns and poignancy. Stories that stay in your memory long after the last page! If you read ONE book you must read this one! It is like nothing you have read before. They need to make it a movie.
OMG… Such a great read about betrayal, tragedy and love.
Oh, I loved this book so much – the characters and the setting and the refleshing message – that I bought the next book in the series and am reading it now.
Sometimes it legitimately hurt to read this book. Not because it was bad, but because of the extreme bias of the character we view the whole story through as well as other characters depicted. Luckily, these moments were part of the story and contributed to the impact this book had on me.
I’ve always been fascinated with religion and this book gave a rare insight into things I hadn’t considered before. Granted, I wouldn’t use this book as your only source of knowledge on the religion of Islam, but I believe it could be a gateway to becoming a more informed person.
Besides being an all-around good book because of the storyline and characters (I stayed up all night reading it), Black Keys more fully brought my attention to discrimination against Muslims, people who I interact with on a daily basis.
I don’t know if I would call this book life-changing (very few things I would) but it is a step in the right direction. After all, we must recognize a problem before we can begin to fix it.
Great
