I wanted to love it, as it is set in Park City (one of my favorite places). It was just too slow and predictable to be a good mystery.
I really liked this book. Cheryl Bradshaw is one of my favorite authors. It’s easy to read and very entertaining. I recommend it!
I read more than one review that said this series wasn’t typical- I thought it unlikely to be true, yet am very happy I was wrong. Deft plot twists, unexpected character and plot development. Sometimes a young man who is a bit off, like Tommy, is a good guy at heart. Some of the wealthy and privileged turn out to be not such nice folks.
If …
Love the Sloane Monroe character. Watching her mind work very interesting.
Great introduction to a new character that I will enjoy seeing grow and develop with Sloane Monroe
sloan monroe is a very interesting pi, I find Cheryl Bradshaws writing style suits me fine. Always looking for her books
It was a good book. I’ve read several Cheryl Bradshaw books and have enjoyed them all.
Not the best starting point in the series.
Love this author! For plot twists and turns with unexpected endings, she can’t be beat.
This is the second or third “Sloan Monroe” book I’ve read. I enjoy this main character and her give ‘me heck attitude! I would recommend this book!!
I enjoyed the start of the Sloan Monroe series. With the main character being a PI it makes sense as to the scrapes she gets into and the encounters with the police. I want to read more of her adventures.
Pretty predictable though I admittedly did read it to the end … just in case I got it wrong. Nope ended just the way predicted by the middle of the book. Okay, not great.
Good mystery. Although I had gussed the murderer half way through the book. I missed a second mystery suspect.
Quick read. Very average.
Not a sophisticated plot but entertaining nonetheless
It was an okay read. Kept my attention and had a surprise at the end.
Loved this book. It was so good I couldn’t put it down.
You will definitely not want to put it down!
Entertaining, interesting story line.
I enjoyed this mystery.
