Oh My Goodness What a Fantastic Enemies to Lovers quickie..I absolutely Loved it.
Why have I never read a book by Q.B Tyler before is beyond me..and I am so so glad I finally got the opportunity to experience her Amazing writing.
With Minimum Angst this was such a Fun,enjoyable and incredibly sexy story,Vince and Lauren were on fire with their chemistry and Hate/Love relationship.
Their back and Forth banter and teasing was hilarious and I loved it making me blush at times too,Vince has such a dirty mouth.
It was great reading how their relationship changed so much in such a short period of time, because deep down they were attracted to eachother from the first time they met…but things didn’t go to plan and they ended up covering up their attraction with Hate.
Bittersweet Love was such a pleasure to read,I had a smile on my face throughout the story and I adored the Ending.
5 brilliant stars for a very sweet , delightful and Sexy Hot book.I highly recommend it.
Love truly can be Bittersweet when delivered by a master novelist like QB Tyler. The story of Lauren and Vincent starts with wit, conflict, and frenemies. Two co-workers who battle each other but both holding secret attractions to the other. When Lauren sells “my soul to the devil for a few good orgasms” Bittersweet shifts into one of the steamiest, hottest, sex-filled romances that will melt your kindle. Fans of Bittersweet Surrender are in for a special treat, as Will and Charley, along with little Ana, make a special appearance. A wonderful addition to the Bittersweet world. Grab it today.
RIVETING & SENSUAL Enemies to Lovers romance!!
Hell, just slap a sucker tattoo right across my forehead…because Vince Maddox charmed me during that first scene! Yes he was an ass, but what an absolutely sexy ass he was. The way that QB wrote his character…he was so arrogant and provocative! If Lauren didn’t want him, I would have gladly crawled right between the pages of that book and taken him. The back and forth banter between these two is very entertaining. They fit their enemies to lovers persona very well.
After getting dumped by her long distance boyfriend and then hooking up with the one guy she has been telling herself she hates…but did she ever really hate him?
If you’ve read this but you didn’t read the Bittersweet Duet (Surrender & Addiction); that’s where Lauren & her ex start their relationship. There’s not a whole lot of them in that one but a tad bit. I’ll say I was rooting for Drew up until about 2 seconds after Vince opened his mouth in the first chapter of Bittersweet Love. From that moment on I was #TeamVince 100% !!!!
QB writes some of the sweetest and most romantic gestures but also steamiest scenes!
4.5 stars!
Bittersweet Love is exactly what I needed to get me through the reading slump I’ve been in. You really can’t beat a hot enemies to lovers story! The chemistry is SIZZLING. The sex is HOT. And the banter is hilarious.
This book made me laugh out loud, tear up, and kept a smile on my facethe entire time.
Lauren is sexy, flirty, and determined. Having been dumped via text by her out of state boyfriend, she finds herself drowning her sorrows, one shot at a time, with the most unlikely of people; Vince: coworker and arch-nemesis. Vince is just…yea. A little arrogant at times, it is clear this dirty talking journalist is hiding some serious vulnerability beneath the barbs.
There is such fire between these two. On the surface they appear to be enemies, but underneath the name calling, jabs, and arguments simmers something that looks a heck of a lot like love and desire.
This is a hot enemies-to-lovers story, with a sexy, dominant hero and a take no BS heroine…and I highly recommend it!
This is my first Q.B. read, and now I’m off to download and make my way through her entire blacklist!
I loved this one. It was well written with two enjoyable characters that have some amazing chemistry from the get go. I absolutely loved the banter between these two when they first meet. Then once they hook up hold on because the chemistry is off the charts at this point. Lauren moves to Chicago thinking that she will be able to have a long distance relationship but nope that is not the case. The breakup doesn’t end well and she doesn’t take it well. Vince her rival , enemy at the time attempts to make her feel better. That is when these two seem to hit it off. That is when the story gets down right interesting. I loved this one. It may have been fast paced short and sweet. But it packed a punch that was downright lovable. This is the first book I have read from this author and I will be reading more. A great book in this series. I cant wait to read more.
Wonderful story!! Q.B. Tyler had me giggling! Enemies to friends, to lovers! Sweet book!!
4 stars
Vince Maddox and Lauren Michaels are reporters for NBC. Lauren move to Chicago several months earlier, and they got off on the wrong foot from the first day they met. Part of that was because Vince wanted Lauren, but she was in a committed relationship, or so she thought. So they antagonize each other as a weird form of foreplay. When things go south with Lauren and her boyfriend, Vince notices. They actually spend a little time talking, and he finds her in a bar where she is trying to drown her sorrow. They end up having revenge sex and it is the best thing that Lauren has ever experienced. They are still snarky to each other, but they begin to see cracks in the façade that each shows to the world.
This book keeps the interest of the reader. Yes, there are several explicit sexual encounters described in the story, but there is much more to this tale than just that. The reader is privy to the growth that occurs in each character. Initially, Vince is trying to be a better person, while Lauren is trying to keep their time together as just ‘frenemies with benefits.” Nevertheless, as she starts to see more to Vince than she expects to find, her heart starts to soften toward this man. Some of his thoughtful gestures are very endearing. And the banter between them is so much fun to read! Additionally, Lauren’s relationship with her best friend and her niece are absolutely wonderfully portrayed!
They do fall pretty quickly, once they actually get together. The trip home for her best friend’s wedding was well-done, and a big part of the reason they both fall in love. The character of Scarlett Stone adds an interesting twist to the story. And the epilogues really round out the whole thing.
I absolutely loved Lauren and Vincent story. I’ve been wanting Lauren’s story since I met her in the Bittersweet Surrender, and this book lived up to my every expectation. From the first moment they were on the pages together their chemistry shot off my kindle. It was HOT! This enemies-to-lovers was perfection!
OMG! OMG! OMG! I absolutely love Lauren and Vincent! They truly had the love hate relationship, enemies to lovers and so much more. It was perfect and to also get a small glimpse at Charley and Will’s life with little Ana was just what you need to tie this whole story together. But I need more of Lauren and Vincent, you could see their love in the stars as QB wrote! It was perfect!!!!!
Bittersweet Love is a perfect title for this book. The relationship between Vince and Lauren was a little hostile at times. The banter had a bite with a little bit of heated tension. Why not give into it? It’s funny how something so bitter can slowly evolve into something sweet and lovely. The tension is still there. I enjoyed how they both bickered, but when it came down to it, they were there for each other when it counted. Loved the psychic aspect too!
Bittersweet Love by QB Tyler was the first tale I have read by this author. Bittersweet Love is the second story in the Written in the Stars series. I really enjoy the book. I wasn’t sure what to expect having never read QB Tyler before and having a theme between the books of zodiac, fate and “written in the stars”. The enemies to lovers romance was believable and the characters, Vincent and Lauren, were both likeable and a little hateable. I would definitely recommend this short little read and I, personally, am on the hunt for another QB Tyler written tale.
This novella had everything I love! It is enemies to lovers, sexy as sin, and sweet as hell! Tyler is such an amazing author. You won’t regret reading this book or any of her other novels. This book is part of the Written in the Stars Series. This series is 12 zodiac signs, 12 authors, and 12 sexy, deeply romantic novellas. Tyler’s book is the zodiac sign Pisces.
Bittersweet Love follows the story of Lauren and Vince, two writers at NBC in Chicago. These two are not only vying for the boss’s attention but they are flat out competing with each other. Their banter is sexy as hell! These two are the perfect enemies to lovers couple. You are going to want to read this whole story in one night to find out where their hatred and banter take them! Tyler also does something I love especially in a novella. She gives us an epilogue that goes three and five years into the future. You get a better sneak peek into the life of these two after the story ends to see if it is a happily-ever-after.
Oh WOW this was book was super addictive and entertaining. Bittersweet Love was exactly what the title says, it’s bittersweet!!! Vincent and Lauren make your typical enemies to lovers look like a walk in the park. Their banter and rudeness to each other makes you want more and more. Vincent is such an a** that you’d seriously cannot help but love him and how Lauren handles this crudeness is priceless. Once these two hit the sheets it’s full blown steaminess and it you are hooked. Awesome book that I would recommend over and over again.
Lauren and Vincent are one hot couple!! So hot, the pages could have melted!! Be prepared to fan yourself!!
Lauren and Vincent work in the same office and don’t really care for each other. Enemies if you will. Things get hot and heavy between the two. After all who wants to be enemies with a hot sexy guy like that? Will a relationship work between the two?
This is my first book by Q B Tyler and I was hooked by chapter 2!! Oh my word hott!! The pages were so steamy!! I loved it!! I highly recommend this book. This book doesn’t disappoint.
Bittersweet Love by Q. B. Tyler is such a fantastic and quick read! This is my first time reading a book by this author and it didn’t disappoint me at all. This is the second book in the Written in the Stars Series. Bittersweet Love tells Lauren Michaels and Vince Maddox’s journey to love.
Bittersweet Love begins when Lauren’s boyfriend breaks up with her by text. Naturally, she is upset by this because they were planning a future together. Vince is a fellow journalist at her job and he annoys her to no end. Vince has wanted Lauren to be his for the past six months since she moved from Atlanta to Chicago for her job at NBC. Lauren goes to the bar to drown her sorrows and along comes Vince to annoy her. The sparks fly between them both the more that they spend time together at the bar.
Will Lauren and Vince give in to the chemistry that is blazing between them? Will the pair decide to pursue a relationship? Will Lauren and Vince get their happy ever after? You will have to read Bittersweet Love by Q. B. Tyler to find out! This book has plenty of romance, laughter, and love scenes. I couldn’t put my kindle down while reading this book! I will definitely be reading more books by this author.
Make sure to grab a copy of Bittersweet Love by Q. B. Tyler! You won’t be disappointed and you are in for a treat!
I absolutely loved this enemies to loves novella. I did have one problem with this story and that’s the way he treats her at the beginning…he was a total ass. But as usual where’s smoke there’s fire and these two had it in spades.
This series is is really growing on me and I’m super excited to read the next sing from the zodiac.

I loved Vincent and Lauren so so much! This is the first book I have read by this author and I’m thinking it definitely will not be the last!
Fab, hot quickie! Enemies to frenemies-with-benefits to the real deal. Gave me butterflies!
“It’s a shame God made Satan so perfect.”
Lauren Michaels has been working with Vince Maddox for six months. They’ve never got on. He likes to rile her up, and she likes to bust his balls! When he catches her in a vulnerable moment, he ends up chasing her down to a bar and, before the night is over, they end up at back at his apartment, letting all the animosity between them burn into something spectacular.
“I’m trying to figure out how one night with you will ever be enough.”
This was such a sexy, fun read. The tension between Lauren and Vince gave me butterflies. The heat between them was sizzling. They each gave as good as they got and I loved the tenderness that emerged between them, as well as the banter they had. Vince seemed really arrogant and cocky, but underneath he was a real softie. I really enjoyed the ending and how everything turned out. Loved it!
I always love a fantastic enemies to lovers story and this one didn’t disappoint. Lauren and Vince’s chemistry literally jumps off the pages and keeps you wanting more. Lauren with her sweet, take no crap attitude combined with Vince’s sexy, cocky, I’ll make you crazy in more ways than one demeanor are the perfect combination for an explosive romance. I definitely recommend reading this along with Q.B. Tyler’s other books if you haven’t yet.
This was my first time reading Q.B. Tyler and I was not disappointed. This was a superbly written enemies to lovers romance. Enemies to lovers are my favorite type of romances so I have high expectations. The banter between Vince and Lauren was fantastic. So much sexual tension! The plot was well thought out and had a nice flow. I was hooked from the first paragraph and just had to know how everything worked out for them. I really, really enjoyed this book. Highly recommend!
