Bastian had to have been the most handsome man that Katherine had ever met. It really was unfortunate that he was also the most stubborn, controlling, downright infuriating jackass she’d ever known as well. Oh, and there was the fact that he was a werewolf – a werewolf who has bitten her.
Sixteen-year-old Katherine Mayes had never believed in mythological creatures like werewolves or mermaids … or mermaids – certainly not those sparkly vampires that her friend Abby was obsessed with. Even when she’s bitten by a massive animal after a reckless night of teenage adventure and her body begins to change in mystifying ways, she can’t force herself to believe in what she’s convinced is impossible. Little does she realize she’s been infected with a disease a little more permanent than the rabies she feels fortunate to have not contracted.
Lycanthropy.
Her fierce denial is soundly shattered, however, when she is simultaneously saved and kidnapped by Bastian and his pack. Forced to leave small town Iowa behind and adjust to their way of life in a hidden society, Katherine must also deal with fighting the pull she feels towards the man – or wolf, rather – who has bitten her and disrupted her life so completely.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: The sequel to Bitten is currently in the works and scheduled for release in 2016.

Bite me! What a fantastic read!
I received this book free as in book bub . The book was really good.
characters and how they interacted as strangers and turned to a family of sorts. While the beginning can be a little slow, it is giving you the back story for the characters. Katherine and Bastian have a love hate relationship. I want to read the …
everything about the book screams addiction, best characters, realistic in a mind blowing way.
Couldn’t put it down
The writing and quality of this book was a 3 star but I was just so addicted to it, I give it 4 stars. I think a lot of this comes from reading juvenile stories as an adult…yet I still love YA and review lots of them well, so maybe it is the book.
As other reviews say, the characters are weak. Specifically Katherine. She annoyed me a bit. One …

Interested to see where the series goes.

I went in to this thinking it would probably not be good.It was a fun whimsical story,I enjoyed reading it.
It an Ok read
This is a good story, although a little on the immature side, even for a young adult book. The book could definitely use some strength to the story line .
Boring. Couldn’t get into it
Loved it
Love the whole series.
Nice and easy read. I enjoyed this book.
I wish the book had been longer and the characters personalities explained more in-depth. It was good but seemed incomplete.
This story is a badly sewn quilt, with raggedy pieces that do not complement each other, barely held together by careless basting stitches. The plot wandered, as did the characters’ personalities and moods. I wondered early on if this book was intended for young adults; there were more juvenile antics, confrontations and drama than there were plot …
