From animosity to searing passion in a lunar cycle… but can their bond survive? Wolf shifter Nathan Kohl’s pack is his whole life. Arrogant and handsome, he avoids commitment to anything or anyone outside of his pack. He works hard, plays hard, and pursues humans as lovers because there’s little to no chance of him forming a permanent bond. However, when Jared Taylor comes into Nathan’s life, … Nathan’s life, every rule is broken.
After a bad experience, Jared vowed to never get involved with another shifter, no matter how much they got under his skin. Despite being physically attracted to Nathan, who’s all kinds of hot, Jared only sees an arrogant, domineering bastard.
A disastrous case of mistaken identity throws Nathan and Jared together until the next full moon. Forced to spend the next twenty-eight days in close proximity, they can no longer ignore the powerful attraction between them. Passion ignites, and their relationship takes a turn neither of them wanted.
But when the full moon comes, everything might change again.

My favourite shifter series ever. Annabelle Jacobs is the MASTER of wolf shifter romance.
4.5 stars- I kept hearing buzz over the Regent’s Park Pack series, but with my to-be-read list being out of control, I’d put off starting it until now. After reading Bitten By Mistake, I’m kicking myself for waiting. I generally enjoy shifter series, especially when they contain plenty of world building to draw me into the universe and leave me eager to hear more about the pack and their individual stories. Bitten By Mistake did all of that, and while it wasn’t perfect and included a lot of back and forth with the relationship progression, I found it ridiculously difficult to put this book down until it was finished.
I loved the different plot and the enemies-to-lovers vibe that began Nathan and Jared’s relationship. The chemistry between the men was raw and fit very well within the storyline, carrying a palpable energy that exploded into great sexual chemistry on page. That said, I really appreciated this shifter romance wasn’t all about a bond driving these two together, but rather the story balanced that pull with a sweet romance that was nice to see blossom as the book progressed. I also liked the subplots that added conflict to the storyline while introducing secondary characters I’m eager to see more from in the future. If you enjoy shifter stories at all, I definitely recommend giving Bitten By Mistake a try.
*Reviewed for Alpha Book Club*
Highly recommend! I’ve volunteered to review this book for United Indie Book Blog. This is my first time reading/listening to a book from Annabella Jacobs. I had the audio version of this one. Bitten by Mistake is the first book in the regent’s Park Pack series. This is Nathan and Jared’s story. Nathan is a wolf shifter who is loyal to his pack, cocky and sweet. Jared is human, who Nathan was trying to pick up at the club. What happens when you are in the wrong place at the wrong time? That’s what Nathan and Jared finding out together. Will this life changing instance be his end or there beginning? I could not put it down. I loved the characters, can’t wait to see what happens next. Will definitely read more from this author. I found that Antony Ferguson did an amazing job with Nathan and Jared. Keep up the amazing work! If you love reading about MM then this is the ONE for YOU!
5 Stars!
I read this book 4 years ago when it first came out and I loved it, so of course, I was going to jump at the chance to listen to the audiobook and I loved it.
After a bad experience, Jared ends up hating all shifters, and yet, he can’t stop himself from being attracted to Nathan, a wolf shifter, when he approaches Jared at a club. When Nathan bites Jared by accident, he freaks out and brings Jared to his apartment, forcing them to stay together until the next full moon. As they get to know each other, they can’t ignore the attraction they feel or give into it. Once the full moon comes, there’s a chance it’ll all change again.
I loved Nathan! He was such a charming, lovable character. Even when he messed up, I just couldn’t stop myself from rooting for him. There was just something about him that just drew me to him. It took me longer to warm up to Jared, he was very annoying during the first half of the book, although I have to admit he did get much better and I ended up liking him quite a bit. Their chemistry was explosive and I absolutely loved how drawn they were to each other.
Anthony Ferguson managed to capture not only the chemistry between Jared and Nathan, but also the humor and the angst and the hotness that derived from Nathan biting Jared. He delivered a top-notch performance, giving all the characters a distinctive voice and bringing the story to life. I’m already looking forward to listening to all the other books in this fantastic series voiced by him.
The rogue pack storyline was interesting, same as the bite arc and how it affected both Nathan and Jared. It was a fast-paced, very fun, super hot, well-written book that I couldn’t put down until the last page and that I definitely recommend to all shifter book lovers.
Loved this one.
I finished this one with mixed feelings. I really liked the author’s take on mates and bonding. It was different than most shifter stories and made for an interesting storyline. I also enjoyed the back and forth between Nathan and Jared in the beginning. Their banter was often humorous despite the seriousness of the situation. The characters were interesting and while I would’ve liked to see a bit more of the pack dynamics, I enjoyed what I did see. The push and pull between Jared and Nathan was completely understandable except that it started to become a bit repetitive and tedious after a while. We also had some suspense with a rogue pack in the area, which could’ve been so much more than what it was. I actually expected one or more of the less likable characters to be involved and given the aggressive behavior of the shifters, I really expected that there would be more to the conflict besides Nathan’s part in it all. All of that combined left me somewhere in the middle on this one. I will say that the ending surprised me. It wasn’t what I expected – not necessarily in a bad way. Just not what I expected, and I was left with a couple of questions that I hope will be addressed later in the series. All in all, I did enjoy a lot of this one and I really liked the main characters, so I’ll certainly be checking out the next in the series.
