Just a modern paranormal family trying to save the world
—>>> Interesting melding of different supernatural species, living and working together. This community is aware of the lurking evil, a common enemy, whose signature is behind the despicable drone which is targeting humans. But his plan may be much more diabolical than they all realized. Lisbeth and Knight as well as their children and friends go out in the world to hunt for this man, but time is against them, and they all have to work fast to control the consequences of a plan already set in motion without their realization.
Liked the aspect of Knight trying to bond with his stepdaughter, an issue even super beings like himself are not exempt from. Arthur is also quite pulled to Lisbeth, which keeps Knight’s hackles up.
They described this book as a slow-burn reverse harem and it’s appropriate of that warning. With that being said, I totally enjoyed the series and would recommend it to others. I read the NSFW version and it was really enjoyable. It was well developed and the characters were fabulously well written. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. Book review of Bite of the Fallen (Born Vampire Series, Book 4) by Elizabeth Dunlap
This is another wild ride with some roaring comedy and sad tragedy.
Crazy “life cganging; no going back” decisions were made both personally and on a MUCH larger scale.
I love the characters and world Elizabeth Dunlap has woven and I am looking forward to the next 2 books!

It was a surprise to read this from a different character’s perspective. Interesting, that it’s set in the future and nice to catch up with how the characters are doing in it. Still love Knight as a character and it was great to have some insight into him more.
