Read the final book in the Endgame trilogy where blood is thick, but passion is thicker… dirty empire. What he didn’t count on was falling for his mortal enemy’s daughter.
He wasn’t supposed to fall for her.
Arianna hates the man who kidnapped her, but soon she realizes that things aren’t what they seem. Ellis was framed by her stepfather and is trying to clear his name. If she helps him, it means betraying her family. But how can she turn her back on him when he’s innocent… when her stepfather turns out to be a monster she never really knew at all?
Author note: This book can be read as a stand-alone, complete with HEA.

The final book in this wonderful trilogy sees Ellis Bishop trying to clear his name after being framed for murder. He doesn’t go about it in the best way though, he actually adds a real crime to his dossier – kidnap. Believing that sweet third grade teacher Arianna, is actually part of her stepfather’s criminal empire is a stupid assumption on his behalf, and he quickly realises this. The problem is, he has inadvertently put her in the middle of all of her step father’s dodgy dealings. Then of course the feelings and sexual attraction cause lots of unwanted problems and drama. Lots of action, drama, and romance. I love the Bishop siblings, and it has been wonderful reading all their stories. I have been captivated by their stories, all well written, and all keeping me on my toes throughout. All three books can be read as standalones, but I highly recommend reading in order. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest opinion.
Ellis Bishop has been MIA during the first two books of this series since he was on the run after being falsely accused of a crime. But now we find out what is really going on. He has been trying to clear his name and take down the enemy so he can move on with his life. His new plan is to kidnap the stepdaughter of the crime boss responsible, but he did not know exactly what he was getting into.
Adrianna Stavish is a teacher. She has had loss in her life and has been a victim. But now she is trying to maintain a healthy path and move on. She barely sees her stepfather.
So when she finds herself the victim of a kidnapping and being accused of being an accomplice to his dirty deeds, she is willing to get mad and to fight…but when she learns the truth, she finds herself wanting to help Ellis and also figure out if they have a mutual enemy.
Thus begins their unexpected adventure trying to figure out what her stepfather’s plans are, keep themselves safe, clear his name, and take down the bad guys…of which there were many. And along the way, they are fighting their newfound attraction to each other until they cannot resist. But they know they are on borrowed time and hope for a stable future might be a long shot.
This brings back his siblings and their new significant others, and some of their friends and colleagues. Sometimes one man cannot solve a problem on his own and has to call in favors. Fans of this author will recognize some familiar people. This can be read as a stand-alone but also concludes this trilogy. I liked both Ellis and Arianna. They were smart, strong, brave, and had loving hearts. This installment is full of suspense, tension, passion, and brings together two people that have lived through their own versions of hell and deserve to find some happiness.

Framed for a murder he didn’t commit, Ellis Bishop has been in hiding since the start of the Endgame trilogy, working quietly behind the scenes to clear his name. Needless to say, Ellis’ story has been building since the start and I had high expectations for him! And while I didn’t expect Ellis to make the decision to kidnap Arianna under the ridiculous set of circumstances he did, I’ll be darned if it didn’t work out fantastically well!
I really enjoyed Ellis and Arianna’s interactions. Their awareness of one another was obvious from the start while the attraction gradually built up steam. The “will they, won’t they” scenes were my favorite, because I didn’t know if it would be THAT moment when Ellis and Arianna both caved in and the anticipation was so much fun!
The rest of storyline was also pretty solid. At some points, I felt the evidence and investigations pushed the romance into the back seat, but it all worked out for the greater good. I also loved seeing previous characters from the Redstone Security series filling in a few pertinent positions, making it a new level of interest to see old favorites. Overall, this was a fab ending to a thrilling series!
I received an advance reader copy from Netgalley and this is my honest review.
If your endgame of a romantic tale is a very steamy read featuring a good guy hero getting the girl and his name cleared after being set up, this book may be just what you are looking for. As usual, this author gives us a main couple we can’t help but root for as they get to know each other emotionally and physically, as they stumble into love. With Arianna, mainly because she’s open to do the right thing and doesn’t put her head in the sand. Once she’s got your back, it’s for good, folks. Ellis doesn’t need much of an introduction. He’s the model of a good guy leading man this author is well known for.
There’s really not a whole lot more to elaborate on here. At 203 pages, this was a quick read and fits right into place among the other two stand-alone but linked books of this series. The writing did feel a tad mechanical at times and heavier on the steam/more of it than I expected, but I still enjoyed the overall romantic plot of these two destined for each other lovebirds.
P.S. The synopsis calling her a mafia princess is a little bit of a stretch, because the stepdad was not a mafia don…yet. As an avid mafia romance reader, just wanted to point that out.

BISHOP’S ENDGAME (Endgame Trilogy # 3) By Katie Reus
Katie Reus has really made her place at the top of the heap with romantic suspense thrillers. She always delivers a solid riveting story, smokin’ hot passionate chemistry, intrigue, angst, and with twists & turns.
This is the final installment of the Endgame Trilogy and it brings us to Ellis and Arianna. Ellis has been on the run while trying to clear his name of a murder he did not commit. Arianna is the stepdaughter of a crime boss and in desperation Ellis kidnaps her. What happens next is unexpected for both of them, neither of them is who they thought the other was. I loved this story and was not ready to be finished with the Bishops. Congrats Katie on a great trilogy! Definitely a 5 star read!
Ellis Bishop was working undercover when he saw his best friend murdered by a dangerous crime boss. Ellis managed to escape with pictures showing the murderer in the act. What he didn’t know was that his boss was on the mob boss’s payroll. Now he’s on the run, his proof is gone and he’s accused of murder. However, Ellis has a plan. He’ll prove that Vitaly Rodin executed Carter and he’ll use Vitaly’s stepdaughter to accomplish his revenge. I was hooked. I couldn’t believe Ellis could accomplish his plan. He tracks down Arianna Stavish and kidnaps her. He believes that she’s as guilty as her stepfather. I could tell immediately that he was mistaken. She’s a hardworking school teacher who has struggled with great personal loss. She’s honorable and keeps her distance from Vitaly. I liked her strength and courage. She kept her cool and stands up to Ellis. Thank goodness Ellis and Arianna come to an understanding and agree to work together. Katie Reus finished The Endgame Trilogy with this wonderful romantic suspense. I liked Ellis and Arianna. They both have suffered unbearable pain. I liked how they faced their problems. I enjoyed seeing them become a couple. Their attraction is amazing. Bishop’s Endgame is a winner. I couldn’t put down this book.
I received a copy of this book which I voluntarily read and reviewed. My comments are my honest opinion.
Fab ending to a the series!
Ellis has been on the run for some time, since he was named as the person responsible for his best friends death. He had evidence he was framed but it seems to have been taken by another mole within the DEA. He has a lead to take down the bad guy, he just needs to manipulate said bad guy’s step-daughter.
Arianna was never too sure what her step-father was involved in. But after the death of her brother and mother, she has distanced herself from him. But now she seems to have been pulled right back into his orbit. A handsome fugitive thinks she has the key to what he needs to prove her step-dad is dirty. But she is just a primary school teacher – she knows nothing about off-shore banking!
Arianna has flaws and she embraces them. She knows she is responsible for her own behaviour, but also that she was not responsible for the assault on her. Ellis is a great kidnapper and even Arianna realised that he did more to keep her safe than to scare her!
I’m really sad to see the Bishops go! Please bring them back, even for a cameo appearance in another series!
Slow burn, steamy and crazy action right off the bat in this third and last installment of the Bishop trilogy. Ellis Bishop was a DEA agent framed for murder. He’s trying to clear his name anyway he can even if it doesn’t sit well with his conscience. Arianna is kidnapped by Ellis to get to her stepfather. They both realize things are not what they seem. They definitely saved the best for last.Action packed, suspenseful and a great way to end this series.
Ellis and Arianna’s story was so good! Ellis is everything I love in a hero. He’s super protective and when his feelings for Arianna started to grow, he didn’t push her away. He kidnaps her in the beginning because he thinks she is part of her stepfathers organization. The fact that he felt so bad when he realized she was innocent just shows his good character.
Arianna is a third grade school teacher who happens to be a recovering alcoholic with several traumatic events in her past. She’s the sweet heroine you expect of an elementary teacher, but with a spine and strength you also expect from someone who has dealt with tragedy. I liked her. For a main couple, these two were easy to root for.
I’m a bit sad to see this trilogy is over. I enjoyed each book and all the side characters we got to know, especially the cameo’s from another series. Great romantic suspense series!
An amazing ending to the Endgame trilogy. I kind of love the captive by the “bad” but really good guy scenario. I am always thrilled when I see a new Katie Reus book coming out because I love romantic suspense and this story is so good. I thought Evan’s story would be my favorite (you know, brooding hero) but Ellis really wowed me. Arianna was not “oh my, I’ve been kidnapped what am I to do?” but instead she stood up for herself and her referring to him has “kidnapper” had me laughing out loud. Ellis and Arianna’s relationship is beautiful and lovely. Great book, great series.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through NetGalley.
The last in the trilogy really good book a romance thriller involving the DEA .storyline Bishop has to clear his name and prove his innocence fast moving story was plenty of action really enjoyed it
Endgame for Ellis Bishop
I really enjoyed this final story in the Endgame trilogy but initially didn’t feel as though I connected as well with Ellis because he didn’t appear as often in the first two books. After reading for a bit, I finally felt that connection with him and Arianna from the word go
A really good story about Bishop who is set up for murder and now he’s on the run trying to clear his name, but because of information he receives he involves Arianna. Though it might be a mistake, it’s the best one he’s EVER made
I received an advanced copy via Netgalley and I want to thank them as well as the publisher and Katie for my copy and leave my honest review voluntarily

Ellis is a DEA agent who was undercover in a drug and arms dealer organization. His best friend and partner is killed and he’s framed for the murder. He has been on the run trying to clear his name. He kidnaps the man who killed his partner and plans to use her against her stepfather. Arianna is a third grade teacher, recovering alcoholic, and has been kidnapped. She doesn’t understand what is going on because her and her stepfather are not very close. Ellis shows Arianna the evidence he has gathered and agrees to help him. Can they clear Ellis’ name and keep the danger away from Arianna?
Excellent story. This is the last book of the series. A damaged woman trying to straighten her life out and a man trying to get his life back. Secrets, sex, and action.
* Voluntarily read and reviewed this for NetGalley *
Once again this talented storyteller gives us a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat from the first page to the last. A book I had a hard time putting down .
We finally get Ellis Bishop’s story. A DEA agent on the run after being accused of the murder of his best friend and partner, when his boss betrays him.
Trying to clear his name, he kidnaps the step-daughter of the local drug lord assuming she will be key to clearing his name. But as he gets to know her better, he realizes she is really an innocent victim in his mess.
Arianna, the woman he kidnaps is a complex and very likable character.
In the midst of the danger and intrigue, feelings develop, but Ellis has no future at the moment, and evil still surrounds them. Will they be able to stay alive to find their HEA , or will the danger continue to follow Ellis and endanger Arianna?
During the story we get to visit some characters from not only previous books in this series, but also those of the ones in the Red Stone Security series. Which if you haven’t read, I highly recommend.
I will miss this series, but knowing the author, I am sure she has some other wonderful series in store for us.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
