Another great book
I am really enjoying this series. It was great to see a glimpse into Birdie’s past with the appearance of her aunts. I look forward to more.
In this, the 5th installment of the Witch Hazel Lane series, Birdie has more unwelcome company. Starting one evening with a being wailing in her cemetery only saying the word “murder”, to her twin aunts showing up for an unwanted visit. The same aunts that treated her horribly as a child and was one of the reasons that Birdie ran away in the first place. They’re in town because they need Birdie to be a character witness for them for a crime that happened long ago but is just now being brought in front of the High Council.
During conversations with her aunts, Birdie discovers that not only were the aunts happy that Birdie got away, but in their own way they helped her stay hidden from their grandmother. Could the horrible aunts actually be not as horrible as Birdie remembers? While stewing over that, she also has to figure out why the banshee is in her cemetery warning her about a murder. Are any of her human friends in trouble? Is someone after her aunts? Or is Birdie herself in danger?
I have thoroughly been enjoying this series. I swear the stories get better with each installment. Great characters, witty writing, and a superb storyline keep me hooked and wanting the next book.

Birdie is looking for a job. Her Vegas money is gone and she doesn’t want her old job. A banshee appears in the middle of the night screaming about death. Then the aunties show. Will it all end?
Another enjoyable Birdie book. Love these.
I loved this book, no two ways about it!!! J. L. Collins set up Biscuits with the Banshee differently than the first four books, this is what kept me turning the pages. I don’t want to give too much away because I don’t want to ruin the book for you. This book opens up a little more about Birdie’s past. We are introduced to Birdie’s Aunt Lillian and Aunt Vivienne. Now we know why Birdie is loyal to her friends and why she would do anything for them. Even though Birdie doesn’t like you aunties she still tries to help them even when they roped her into lieing for them. I don’t know why but the more I get to know Lucifer the more I like him. Whether Birdie will admit it or not I believe she loves Lucifer. So far this is my favorite Witch Hazel Lane Mysteries Book. You get love of friends, loyalty, southern banter, mystery and a lot of fun. I read on Kindle Unlimited.

Birdie is back and being kept awake by a banshee’s wails. Everyone knows that foretells a death. Then her wonderfully eccentric twin aunts come to visit. Can Birdie solve a mystery, prevent a death, and deal with her aunts all at the same time? Read this amazingly good book to find out! Great characters and a wonderful mystery make for a most enjoyable cozy! I received an ARC and this is my honest opinion.
