I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. I enjoyed this first book in the True Match Arrangements series. Jay and Bianca have very different reasons for their arrangement. Convenience and loyalty are two of his. She is more after stability and hoping for luck. These two might start out unconventional, but it is not long before they find themselves unable to deny their attraction. They both needed each other much more than they ever thought. I thought their story was a good one

This the story of Jay and Bianca. The married after an agreement. She needed a wife, not love and she needed an arrangement to help her to pay her debts after her mom got sick. They began as a couple but not feelings included. Day by day their relationship grew stronger and they began to fall in love with each other. When everything began to moved in the right direction, his ex fiancée Imogene, tried to get him back and sabotage Jay and Bianca’s relationship and newly love. I loved the characters and the plot. I loved that Bianca always trusted on Jay and fought together for their love and family. Great book. Highly recommended.

Jen A. Durand has written a 5-star book. This story is about Brianna and Jay. Brianna is in over her head with student loans and her mother’s medical bills. She signs up with the True Matched Arrangement.” She is matched with Jay. They meet and tell each other what they want out of the marriage. They are married a month after the meeting. They seem to get along and things are going well for them until Jay has a business dinner at his home. He is waiting for one more guest to arrive before dinner is served. He sees the last person he wants to see walk in the door. His ex-fiancee, Imogene comes in and wants to be introduced to his wife. Brianna is not worried about Imogene since she and Jay are getting along so well. Jay seems to be running into Imogene everywhere he goes and it is getting on his nerves. He tells her that there is nothing left between them. She left him in the hospital after his accident and was told he would not walk again. Jay proved everyone wrong. Jay has started to care more than he thought he would for Brianna. He told himself after Imogene’s breakup with him that he would never love someone again. Jay has to take a business trip to Australia and tells Brianna that he would be gone for one to two weeks. He has talked to Brianna and now he is on his way to his last meeting. As he is walking toward the door, he hears a woman say “I thought I would have had to wait longer for you.” It is Imogene and he said, “What are you doing here?” ” I came to see you.” “Why?” I have already told you there is nothing left between us. You are embarrassing yourself.” “No, you are. I have apologized over and over about our breakup, but you have dragged this punishment out far enough. We belong together.” Were you always this delusional? Jay hissed as he tried to keep their conversation low. There were guests checking in and out. Someone would get a tidy price for the story. He could see it now. Real estate tycoon caught on Australian business trip with Misstress slash ex-fiancee. Imogene reaches her hands around Jay’s nack and pulls him down for a kiss. Things are not what they seem with Imogene. Brianna found out she was pregnant before Jay left on his trip but she did not tell him about the baby. Now he is on his way home and she has a surprise for him. When he hears the news, he is happy. Early the next morning, Brianna gets a text message from Dalia telling her to click the link. The link is for a picture of Jay kissing Imogene. Jay tells Brianna that it is not what it looks like. He tells her that Imogene doesn’t mean anything to him. She tells him that it has to stop. Jay said, “he would take care of it.” She tells him “No,” they would do it together.
Can Brianna and Jay put an end to Imogene’s stalking him?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! By the time you’ve figured out who is who and who to like and dislike, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
Jay and Bianca agree to an arranged marriage, with the expectations and professionalism agreeing to share a mutual respect for each other basically two friends with intense chemistry between them especially in the bedroom. Of course, each marriage have their ups and downs his ex is a pain in the you know where trying to make Bianca doubt what her and Jay have but Bianca believes in them but can his ex plant a seed of doubt? Will Jay learn to love again, and will this lead to a HEA?
This is the first book in the True Match Arrangements series and it is off to a great start. Jay and Bianca had very different reasons in looking for an arranged match. Jay didn’t believe in love and just wanted a loyal partner. Bianca just needed a means of survival. What they ended up with was so much more. A heartwarming and touching story and I absolutely loved it. I’m looking forward to reading more in this series!

Sweet heart warming, feel good story with an excellent plot and very strong mature and honorable main characters. Both main characters are strong, well developed with depth and easily relatable. I loved how Bianca and Jay grow as individuals and as a couple and the author did an amazing job highlighting and describing the emotions and feelings between them and their growing love for each other.
Bianca and Jay enter into an arranged marriage, with clear expectations, both open minded professional people and share a mutual respect for one another and one might even say friends, the only place where things get out off hand is the bedroom where their intense chemistry is off the charts. No arranged marriage would be complete without a villain, enter Imogene, Jay ex fiance who now decides she wants him back and resorts to some underhandedness. Unfortunately for Imogene her plans backfire when it turns out Bianca is a smart, mature, self assured woman who trusts and believes in her husband and sees the games Imogene plays.
The authors portrayal of the supporting characters is excellent and supports and elevate the plot. I loved the book, excited to read the next.

This is book one of the True Match Arrangements series and the main characters are Bianca and Jay. Bianca is struggling under a mountain of debt from college and now her mother’s medical bills and care. She has even had to give up her well paid job for one that could fit in with caring for her mom. Jay is a successful property developer and a billionaire. He works all the time and is determined to never fall in love again, after his fiancé left him about eighteen months ago, after he had a bad accident and almost died and was told he would never walk again. She, Imogene, had grown up with him since early childhood and had similar upbringings and fell in love, but she couldn’t accept having a husband that needed looking after and would never walk. She dumped him a month after his accident and he has never forgiven her for her actions.
Bianca signed up with the True Match Agency and was matched with Jay within a week. He immediately agrees to marry her and a month later, after living together and planning the wedding, they are married. Now their real life together will begin. They both want children in their future, but Bianca has to keep herself busy, while he continues to work really long hours. She isn’t the clingy, needy type, so they are a good fit and start to learn more about each other as the weeks go on. Unfortunately, Imogene wants Jay back now he is well and still being successful and presumes his marriage to Bianca is just a rebound affair and he can just cancel it and marry her! She is clearly a bit deluded and acting like a stalker. Bianca believes in true love and thought that was the type of marriage she would have, but has to live with the reality she was faced with and see if they can learn to love each other, while she is loyal to him in return for what he can offer her.
A nice little tale, with a jealous ex who takes it a bit too far, and a daughter looking out for her mother’s care over her own happiness, plus a best friend who pays far too much attention to the gossip pages! An easy read with an introduction to another young woman who signed up to the same agency, called Isabelle, who talks with Bianca about whether it would be a good choice for her. Her story follows in another book. A bit of a millionaire matchmaker service, with vetted young women who need a helping hand from a wealthy husband to be. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
One thing I don’t like when reading a book review is pretty much the entire story written out in the review, so warning, I don’t give a lot of spoilers, if any, with my review. The story line is wonderful and captivating and flows smoothly through the pages. The characters are amazing, fun to get to know and easy to like. A truly enjoyable contemporary romance you’ll be glad you added to your reading list
