He’s everything she shouldn’t like… the former athlete, playboy billionaire, with a teasing smile and a body fit for a spread in a magazine… “So that’s a yes, then?” He smiled down at me, looking as sexy as sin and just as tempting.I wanted to say no; I truly did. The last thing I needed was to sit around drinking with my employer’s son. But a drink or two wouldn’t hurt anyone, right?Lacey … employer’s son. But a drink or two wouldn’t hurt anyone, right?
Lacey knows the last thing she needs is an impromptu birthday celebration in Vegas, but when her eccentric boss makes her an offer she can’t refuse, she hesitantly accepts. Things quickly go awry when her boss’s son, Jude, decides to tag along. A former athlete, playboy billionaire, with a teasing smile and a body fit for a spread in a magazine, Lacey knows that getting involved with Jude will mean trouble.
But maybe trouble, in the form of an unorthodox “arrangement” with a sexy billionaire, is exactly what the pragmatic, uptight, and undersexed Lacey needs.

This is a quick, fun read. Lacey is similar to a Bridget Jones character. She seems to get herself into some crazy and compromising situations. Jude, is not as easy to figure out. He’s sarcastic, blunt, sexy and his actions speak louder than his words but, you are never certain what he’s feeling.
When Lacey wakes up in Vegas married to Jude, she’s mortified. They are on opposite ends of the spectrum, how could this have happened? Jude makes Lacey a deal to stay married for six months and they can part ways. Little does she know, it won’t take too long to realize what a great guy Jude is and she wants forever with him.
ARC review For honest review. Lacey starts working for Oliver but his son Jude she already had a Embarrassing moments with this is funny cute and a beautiful love story.
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Right? Well, not in Billionaire in Vegas! Lacey is a temp worker who’s offered a high paying job as a wealthy businessman’s assistant. Of course she takes it. But, when her new boss finds out it’s her birthday weekend, he won’t take no for an answer and immediately sends her and her friends to stay at his hotel in Vegas to celebrate her birthday. While there she runs into her boss’s annoying, but hot, son, and soon enough, things happen that really should remain in Vegas.
But, what happens when those things can’t be left behind when the cold light of reality hits? If you’re Jude and Lacey, you try to make a go of things, and along the way, you fall in love.
I like Billionaire in Vegas much more than I was expecting to. It’s sexy and sweet and Jude displays more depth than I had been expecting. Lacey is a tough woman, independent and smart. She and Jude make a great couple. Then there are her friends, who are a hoot, and there’s Oliver, Lacey’s boss and Jude’s dad. He’s awesome! He’s the puppetmaster behind everything that happens and I couldn’t love him more for it. He just wanted his son, and his new employee, whom he adored instantly, to be happy. Can’t fault him for that.
This is the first book by Ms. Cooper that I have read. Even though this was a short book, it still did not feel rushed. She took her time telling the story. It definitely was not a wham bam thank you mam book. The story felt developed and had a wonderful plot. I know there are lots of stories about waking up married in Vegas, but this one had meaning and purpose. I swear Oliver had this whole thing planned. That’s my opinion and I am sticking to it.
In this story Lacey gets a job with an eccentric billionaire named Oliver, who has a spoiled womanizing son named Jude. When Oliver sends Lacey on a vacation for her birthday, she is thrilled. But things turn crazy when she bumps into Jude. As sparks fly they find themselves in an odd predicament. The only thing to make it work is to sign a deal. With Oliver deathly ill, Jude and Lacey try everything to get along and suck it up. Will Lacey be able to stick it out or will she just be disappointed and broken-hearted in the end?
Jude and Lacey are lovely characters with sad childhood stories. Lacey is extremely self conscious and Jude is full of himself. The characters have such strong chemistry. I really enjoyed this story and will look into reading more from Ms. Cooper.
