Your boss.
Sadly, following that particular piece of advice is much easier said than done.
Ronan Maxwell is hands down the sexiest man I’ve ever met. He’s also the pushiest, most demanding, and most arrogant S.O.B. on the planet. And even though I can’t stand him, I never stop wondering how his ridiculously pretty mouth would feel against my skin. Or whether or not that bulge in his pants is as impressive as it seems.
For two years, I had it under control. But then one late night, all that changed. Now that I know firsthand how electrifying his touch can be, I want him more than ever. And the longer we continue this twisted relationship, the softer my heart gets. I have no idea what the future holds, but one thing I know for sure—this man has the power to break my heart.
And that’s one thing I can never let happen.
*Billionaire Bosshole is the third installment in the Bedding the Billionaire world. It is a full-length interconnected standalone novel.

Hot office romance. Ronan can be a real bosshole but Quinn can handle him. He makes some serious errors and I love seeing him brought to his knees for Quinn. A quick, hot read
Ronan initially comes across as cocky and arrogant, and it took a bit for me to warm up to him. It seems like the only person who could deal with him was is assistant, Quinn. While she hates his attitude, she finds him attractive and wants to be with him. At times I couldn’t understand how she could overlook his attitude. Still, he manages to get somewhat better throughout the story, and Quinn is partially responsible for that.
I enjoyed the banter back and forth between the pair. I also liked how Quinn didn’t take whatever attitude Ronan gave her; she was more than willing to give attitude right back to him, while others were afraid to stand up to him.
Fans of the boss/assistant trope will enjoy this one. While it’s the third book in the Bedding the Billionaire series, it can be read as a standalone.

Quinn has a problem, she is totally in lust with her boss. From daydreams to fantasies, her boss Ronan Maxwell is the star. The issue is that he is a huge a-hole, but lately it seems that he is being an even bigger one. Until one day, Quinn just snaps, one second she is telling him off and the next they are on the desk acting out their aggression. Afterwards Quinn runs and maintains that it’s a one time deal; that is until the next time that their control snaps. Nothing ever good comes from interoffice romances, why would Quinn think that what they have is even something more than just scratching an itch. But when Ronan makes it clear he wants more, will Quinn give something more a chance? What happens in the long run, when their secret comes out… will Quinn have to find a job elsewhere?
This for me was just ok. Ronan was an absolute bosshole, but for me it didn’t come off as OTT Alpha, it was just more d-baggish to me. Drama, loads of drama, and some hot naughty bits, I give this 4 stars.
Ronan Maxwell is Quinn Montgomery’s boss; she’s his executive assistant and has been with him for 2 years. Before Quinn, he went through multiple EA’s because no one could take his horrid treatment. Quinn knows how to handle him and she isn’t afraid to call him on some of his behaviors. He likes and respects that, and really wants to know her more intimately, but knows better than to go there with his employee…Until one night when he forgets… He still behaves like a jerk, but Quinn begins to see glimmers of something else.
Ronan really is a jerk, and Ms. Lee captures this behavior perfectly with her writing. Sometimes the reader is ready to call him some of the same things that Quinn and her closest friends call him in private. Over the course of the book, Ronan’s behavior toward Quinn softens somewhat, but he still pulls a stupid move and causes some havoc.
The motives are clear for some of the behaviors that happen in this story. At other times, motives are a bit murky. The pacing is steady; however, this isn’t a suspense-filled sports car-type of story, but rather an SUV-on-a-drive type of story. There are a few starts and stops, but the SUV finally arrives, and the journey ends up being eventful and worth the drive!

Whoa boy, that was STEAMY. This is one of those books where your rating will probably depend on what you were hoping to get out of it. As pure steam, it is top notch, delivering scene after scene of scorching heat. The first half of the book is essentially hate-filled banter mixed with hate sex, so if that’s what you’re looking for, it has it in spades. As a romance, this falters a bit. So much of the focus is on the physical side of things that the emotional connection is questionable at best. I love a good enemies to lovers romance and this had so many things that were great, but that romantic connection wasn’t really there for me.
The story follows Quinn, the executive assistant to a demanding, arrogant “bosshole.” Ronan’s not the easiest guy to work with on a good day, but the sexual tension that crackles between them makes a functional working relationship nearly impossible. When things combust in a big way, Quinn and Ronan continue to fight the attraction between them but soon find it impossible to resist. They may hate the way that they feel about each other, but they don’t hate the way their bodies respond to one another.
The writing itself is really solid, with so much banter and chemistry that it jumps off the page. I loved that aspect of the book for sure. Enemies to lovers is my favorite trope, and while I enjoy a good hate sex scene as much as the next girl, the impact started to wear off after the third, or fourth, or fifth one. There are so many sex scenes that I didn’t bother trying to keep track, but it’s definitely a major, MAJOR component of the book. Honestly, if a few of the steamy scenes had been swapped out for ones where these two connected on a deeper level, this would’ve been a 5-star read and still scorching hot. But ultimately that’s not how things played out and I was often left wondering why Quinn kept putting up with Ronan. I would check out future books by the author without hesitation because there was a whole lot that DID work for me. I received an ARC via Candi Kane PR and am voluntarily leaving a review of this steamy romance.
