FANTASTIC SERIES
This series takes you through a set of 3 guys Thatch, Kline, and Wes that all find head over heels in love with some crazy head strong women. The things they all do to make it work and all the fun they have along the way.
This set of stories is the first I read by this combination of two authors and I am buying everything I can get on the Nook by them. There are many moments in these books that are laugh out loud, wake up the dog, and pee in your pants funny – reminiscent of the early Stephanie Plum novels. I love the men and the women. None of them are perfect and all of them are multi-dimensional. I love the sarcasm, the pranks, the filthy language. Even the parents of the characters that we meet in the books are rendered to perfection. Being embarrassed by your parents in front of your date or your friends happens to almost everyone. Bonus points for having a Great Dane in the books. And then there is Thatch – a most magnificent character. His words, his actions, and his friendships are beyond unique. May he appear in all of Max Monroe’s books!
Enjoyed every moment of my time reading this set and didn’t want to finish. Never have I laughed so much, particularly reading the first book. Plenty of chemistry, steam and dirty talk too. Enjoy!
Holy smokes, this Series is hilarious! Okay, no, really, one you open your mind and turn off your sensitivity to f-bombs, these books are just so much fun. But seriously, read with an open mind and thick skin for swearing. It’ll make your eyes bleed.
Wish I had read these before the St. Luke’s docuseries (which are amazing on their own) but now things make more sense.
Truly entertaining!
Love, Love, Hilariously sexy, swoony, hilarious (the hilarity is such that it must be mentioned twice) love! Max Monroe write characters that I can’t wait to see a glimpse of in future stories. Their out of this world storylines are matched with realistic reactions and never fail to make me swoon, giggle, and try to read little excerpts to everyone around me.
More like 4.5/5, but as that isn’t an option… Well edited.
Lots of laughs, silliness, craziness, and love. Mostly light-hearted romance with a bit of misunderstanding and a tiny bit of angst.
Tapping the Billionaire follows Kline and Georgia. Georgia works for Kline. He needs a date to get his mother off of his back, and as he is talking to his mother, he sees Georgia. He asks her out, she says no, he persists, she says yes, and so it begins. Meanwhile, Georgia is on a dating app, talking to a guy. They started off rocky, but turned into a sort of friendship where they can talk freely because they don’t really know the other person. Or do they? Funniest scenes are the allergic reaction (think the scene from Hitch) and Georgia trying to relay the last 20 minutes of a football game when she has no understanding of football at all.
Tapping Her transitions from Kline and Georgia’s story to Thatch and Cassie’s story. There is a bit of Kline and Georgia’s honeymoon, as well as how Thatch and Cassie’s story kicks off.
Banking the Billionaire follows Thatch and Cassie through their prank war. There is a bit of a serious undertone regarding a tragedy in Thatch’s past. Both parties have little to no filter. The story is enjoyable, with lots of crazy, stalking, and laughter.
Banking Her transitions from Thatch and Cassie to Wes and Winnie. Thatch and Cassie are expecting. Wes and Winnie dance around their desire for one another.
Scoring the Billionaire follows Wes and Winnie through the football season and into the off-season. Wes and Winnie begin their journey to HEA, but hit a major bump when Wes thinks getting stuck at an airport due to weather and missing Lexi’s game means he isn’t cut out to be part of a family. It takes him a couple of months, seeing Winnie out with another man, her brothers and his friends to get him to wake up and get the girl. Lexi, Winnie’s little girl, is so cute.
Scoring Her wraps up the series with a trip to the Bahamas. Once again, a little bit of serious, lots of crazy, lots of fun, family, and love.
I so want to hang out with these people. Too fun and funny
I loved the witty conversations in these books! Funny, funny, funny!
I laughed until I cried at the three couples in this series of books. Each couple has two books, they must be read together. The story of Georgia’s brother, Will, in Dr. Obscene, needs to be read after the first two books (Georgia & Kline).
It’s a HOT read, but you will feel great afterward. Caution: Reading this book in bed with your husband or significant other will wake him/her up because you are laughing so hard.
I love Max Monroe. Subscribe to their newsletter too. It’s hilarious!
This series has the best female characters that I have come across in a long time! The relationships are well matched and I love the dialogue. I want to be friends with these people!
