Book 2 – Desire
My family hates her. Her family hates me right back.
Flora and I don’t need their approval.
I love her, and I’m not letting go. No matter what.
She came from nothing, and she made her life as big as her dreams.
But sometimes I wonder if her dreams are taking her away from me.
The further ahead she gets, the more it feels like she’s leaving me behind.
But I won’t let her go. If she runs, I’ll follow.
I’ll prove both our families wrong, and show them that our love is meant to last.
Flora’s mine, even if she doesn’t always know it.
Book 3 – Fake It
Oh, Sophia baby,
You were just supposed to carry my baby.
And now, you’ve stolen my heart.
What am I going to do?
Well, I’ll fake it till we make it!
You are mine and mine forever,
And I won’t let you go – not so easily!

Really not happy I actually spent money on this one first time I’ve paid more than $2 for a book (books) won’t be doing that again
Fay and Neil were typical high school sweethearts who thought they were in love. They lived in a little town in Alaska which Neil hated. His was the wealthy family on the hill. As soon as he graduated, he left and didn’t look back…not even to tell his girlfriend, Faye, goodbye. Fast forward 10 years and his Dad has just died. Neil must come back to take care of the estate. Ms. Ford delivers a poignant portrayal of Faye’s leftover teen angst and the confusion of love – what it is and what it means – to some young people who were dictated to by their parents. The convoluted relationship that Neil and Faye start again gets their friends involved. Will they work it out? Will Neil stay this time around? Will their friends hinder or help? You’ll have to read to find out this and more. It was a very good read.
Collin and Flora meet when Flora is attacked at the Frat house where she attends a party. She punches the guy and runs out the house. Collin suspects something is wrong when she runs out the house and follows her so that he can protect her and be her sounding board if she wants. This is the start of a beautiful relationship where neither set of parents likes their child’s choice of marital partner.
I liked this story. Sophia is a bartender/occasional bouncer. Thomas is wealthy and was a reality TV star because of his ex-girlfriend. Sophia isn’t looking for a relationship and she hooks up with Thomas not knowing he’s been on TV (she has no time for viewing). His Dad starts to make changes in his life and tells his son that he must have a girlfriend and a baby within the next year or lose his inheritance. Will Thomas and Sophia work something out? Will he go back to his ex? Does he even want a baby? Read the book to find out.

Mia Ford had written three excellent contemporary steamy hot romances, each is a stand-alone and each is unique. The characters are relatable and likeable making the reader invested in the storylines. The narrative is expertly written and contributes to the characters motivations and makes them even more compelling. The dialogue is excellent. Each story deals with a couple who have to overcome internal struggles and external obstacles in order to find happiness with each other. The settings are very different displaying the creativity of the author. Each story had emotional drama that pulls the reader into the story and making them invested in the character’s outcome. The hot sexual scenes are woven brilliantly into the storylines serving to enhance the plots rather than cause any distractions. These are three steamy, contemporary romances that are worth reading.

A wonderfully well written and very entertaining collection of three great romances. I was addicted from beginning to end as each story brings is own aspect, making for hours of enjoyable moments. Amazing interesting characters with great undenible chemistry and a few struggles or drama on their way to each having their very own HEA. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.
A romantic box set from a great author who never disappoints! There is sexy men and feisty independent women, when the two meet there is wonderful chemistry between them. Each book is a standalone novel, so you get 3 stories in this box set. Each story is brilliantly written.

There are 3 books in this collection which are Falling for Her; Desire and Fake It. I read a couple of the books a while back never wrote a review on them, but I’m glad I have an opportunity to do so now.
Falling for Her: This story is about Neil and Fay. Neil graduates and is ready to start his life, but unexpectedly is forced to go back home as his father passes away. There he encounters his old girlfriend Fay, whom still believes in the romantic novel of a prince meeting his princess. They both realize that their feelings are still there but his intention is to close up his past home and move on to his new life, but will Fay leave this time around or will he stay even if he worked so hard to get out to begin with. This book is about second chances and when to take advantage of them.
Desire: This story is about Collin and Flora. They both are in the same college and unfortunately for Flora, her BFF thinks she needs to loosen up by having a hook up at a frat’s party, but instead the one who she is set up ends up with a black eye as he tries to force himself on her but she fights back! This part of the book made me proud that women can defend themselves with some training. Collin notices Flora running out of the house frighten and decides to run after her to see if she is okay, they end up being a couple after he also attacks the guy who tried to rape her. Many may not agree with me, but I took this story to be of communication and in today’s world. Her parents were all about her coming back home and start a family and leave the college nonsense; however, she made herself be independent. He, although raised with money, didn’t agree with his father’s way of thinking and removed himself as much as possible. Together, she became the dominate, head of household, and one with the powerful position, in which Collin accepted with open arms. I loved that the book was more on the woman taking action and not being the damsel in distress…
Fake It: This story has way too many characters; however, it is mostly about Thomas and Sophia. They both start off as friends and end up with much more. There is plenty of drama in this story as they are dealing with some bratty women who think they are god’s gift. The story is cute, nothing compared to the first two, but overall good.
