OmarA billionaire Crown Prince of a wealthy kingdom, Omar is left with few freedoms in life. With his whole life dictated, Omar refuses to let the king dictate whom he marries, too. Determined to show his father the error of his manipulations, he hires the Diamond Bridal Agency to find him a completely unsuitable American wife. The worse the better, so finding a woman who is the gold-digging … is the gold-digging daughter of a con man is perfect.
His plan is a simple one: marry her, get his father to change his mind, and get an annulment. It should be easy, right. Well, that was before he started to fall–hard–for his wife, a woman who is nothing like he expected her to be.
Rose
The piss poor daughter of an American con man, Rose is desperate to find a new beginning, somewhere where people have no idea who her father was, and what he did. When a fly-by-her a pants application for a bridal agency lands her a husband, she sees it as a much-needed miracle, and when she meets her future husband, she realizes she just may be in over her head. From the Con King’s daughter to the Desert King’s bride, can Rose be the wife of a man who isn’t really looking for a queen?
When the truth about their marriage comes out, everything is tested, and two hearts that burn hotter than the desert sands set fire to everything around them.

This is my first Eve Black book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a short but very entertaining story that didn’t appear to be rushed at all.
Omar was a very entitled and arrogant man, and being a handsome Prince, he was justified. He only wanted to have the choice to marry for love. I didn’t like the plan he had to force his father to let him to do that. And his best friend Arianna, well I could read her like the lying witch she was!
Poor Rose! She was so sweet and I was #TEAMROSE all the way. Everything she had endured and yet she still was hopeful for a loving marriage and happy life. Well, those hopes were dashed pretty quickly and I felt as hurt as Rose by the way she was treated by Omar and Arianna.
I loved watching Omar begin to see Rose as she really is and not as Arianna painted her. To discover her quick wit, intelligence, natural beauty, joy of life, and appreciation for people and not money or material things. She brought laughter out of Omar, and gave him companionship that he didn’t know he needed and craved.
Well, Arianna isn’t going to let them find happiness together. She picked Rose because she thought she was a fat, plain, ugly girl with a sordid past that could never past muster with the King or Omar. She still has a trick or two up her sleeve.
This book had some editing errors but they didn’t deter too much from the story. I will be reading more of this author’s books!
This book did not disappoint in the romance sense. I was intrigued from the start about how the main characters were going to kick off their romance since Omar showed so much disdain and disgust. Once the romance started setting in and snowballing, I thoroughly enjoyed the story.
I am a sucker for a “Cinderella Fairy Tale” and this hits pretty close to that. It is very “Prince & Me.” As far as plot and story line, it moved pretty quickly which for me was why I am giving it 4 stars out of 5. Would I still recommend this to friends? Yes. This novel does what a good romance novel sets out to do, give the reader an easily consumed story that makes us happy and leaves us entertained.
I liked the characters, except for the ones we are meant to dislike. I liked the premise of the story, but I wish it had progressed a little slower. I liked the steam and the conflict. I like the resolution at the end. Overall, definitely a book people should read if they are looking for a decent romance novel.
Such a wonderful read. Rose needing a new beginning, applies to an article to a bridal agency ad to marry a billionaire. When she hears that she’s chosen she’s not given any information other than where to meet him. She has no idea he’s a Crown Prince and that he’s out to prove to his father that he should be able to choose who he marries. His plan is to marry her and have his father change his mind, then get the marriage annulled. If that isn’t enough he has his best friend on board with his scheme. However, Rose surprises him at every turn and she’s not what he believed her to be. I really loved Rose and Omar quiet frankly got on my last nerve at first, but he did redeem himself. A great read and one I highly recommend.
Rose had been chosen as a modern day mail order bride and she was going to marry a rich man! What? Yes and her mind is spinning! Daughter of a Con man, with a capital C she had been making it on her own, but it had been tough. She’s lost everything and when she saw the article in a magazine about women marrying rich men, she could only think this was her chance at something good.
What she didn’t know was her future husband Omar was marrying her to show his father, he had control of his life, not him and he had it all planned out.
Well you know what they say.. Best laid plans and as these two come together, to say the least nothing will ever be the same!
Hold onto your seats and have a cool iced tea, you will need. it as you turn the pages of this new installment to the Diamond Bridal Agency Series!
Good read I was not liking the way they treated Rose until about half way thru the book. I read this book as an ARC I recommend this book please review the books you read
My first read by this author, and I really enjoyed this book. Rose, needing a new beginning after her no-good father ruined her life, she applies to a bridal agency ad to marry a billionaire. When she gets the call to hear she’s been chosen, she is given no other information than where to meet him, no name, not anything. So when she maxes out her remaining credit cards to get to New York to the hotel she’ll meet and marry her husband-to-be, she has no idea what she’s heading in for. Little does she know, she’s marrying a Crown Prince, and he’s only using her to get back at his father’s manipulations on his life.
When the first begins, I was pretty disgusted with how Omar was treating Rose. That he couldn’t see his best friend, Ariana’s calculating actions and believed her – made me believe for all his worldly knowledge, he was quite stupid to the ways of women. Omar does come through, eventually – and I really liked the pacing of this book. Even though it was a normal length book to today’s standards, it went quickly – always a good sign, although it did feel a bit rushed toward the end. This is a fun, sexy, Cinderella type fantasy, and a fun read.
