When a single independent woman falls for a single dad, she has to decide if she’s willing to accept the whole package. Jennifer Palmer is not especially excited about attending the charity event, but because it helps homeless animals and because her best friend and roommate asked her to, she agrees to attend. Besides, it might be sort of fun bidding on an eligible billionaire and just what Jenny … billionaire and just what Jenny needs to move forward after the break up with her loser boyfriend, Brad.
Single dad, Chase Marlow is well-known in the community for his work with disadvantaged women and children. He also loves animals, so when he’s asked to be one of the auctioned billionaires, he steps up to the challenge.
Jenny isn’t planning on bidding, but when Chase enters the stage, all bets are off. After all, it’s just one date.
Can Jenny and Chase get that one date off the ground, or will there be too many obstacles in their way?

I loved this book! The millionaire and his lady friend have a few ups and downs but it all works out in the end! I recommend this book to all romance readers!
I have heard books described as a good, clean romance but this is the first book I can say truly felt that way for me. Chase is the exact opposite of what I’ve come to expect of so many characters in billionaire books. I don’t feel like I connected with Jenny’s character as well as I would have liked. I loved that Chase and Jenny were brought together by something they both loved, volunteering. I would have liked to see Jenny and Penny’s relationship a bit more. This very sweet read is great for a lazy summer day!
This is a great summer read. Billionaire Auction is a clean, sweet, heart warming romance. There is something for everyone. Jenny is getting over a bad breakup, there is an billionaire auction to benefit the animal shelter where Jenny volunteers, there is a low key, single dad billionaire who works with disadvantaged women and children, and romance. That is a pretty perfect package. The characters seem like people you would want to get to know. I could not put the book down.
A sweet, clean romance, this story can be read by most age groups. Jenny has thrown herself into her work to escape a bad break up, and fills the rest of her time volunteering at the local animal shelter run by her best friend. When she gets roped into bidding on a bachelor at a fund-raiser for the shelter, she finds herself being drawn to single dad Chase. Knowing that there is a good chance that her date with the billionaire is unlikely to go anywhere, Jenny nevertheless accepts his invitation to go out. Jenny is cautious with her heart, but Chase has something even more precious to guard, namely his daughter. As they do the courting shuffle, Jenny and Chase experience a certain amount of fear at stepping out of their comfort zones, but once they get over their jitters and misunderstandings, they find they are both open to new possibilities. Chase is a gentle man and despite his wealth he doesn’t throw his importance around. Jenny comes with baggage, not the least of which are her parents who in their protectiveness, manage to make both of them feel uncomfortable. This book is a stand alone and it does come to a happy close. I received a copy of this novel as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Billionaire Auction does romance proud. White puts into words a meaningful story that informs, entertains and takes hold of the heart. Jennifer and Chase put their hearts on the line to make a difference in their community. There’s a whole lot of adorable wrapped up in a powerful read. Auction is not just romance. It’s a tale of sacrifice, a journey of hope and a reason to smile through the doubts as we seek to inspire the world. A fun, flirty read.
3.5 Stars
The storyline was cute and interesting. For me while reading this I felt detached from the characters. I had a hard time feeling the connection between Chase and Jenny. I wasn’t a huge fan of Jenny, but she did have her moments that made her a good heroine. What drew me to this book is Chase is a single dad and those are the books I’m craving right now. I was on he fence on Chase. I thought the scenes with his little girl were precious and were my favorite scenes of the book. I thought the epilogue was the perfect touch for this little family and so fitting.
I wanted so much more between these two but felt the author just rushed in this story. Every time I thought Jennifer was making progress she seemed to take a step back and seemed like she always was working. Don’t get me wrong there is romance but felt there could have been more. All in all it was good but could have been so much better.
