There are reasons we fear the night. He isn’t one of them.
Bill Ryder was a dateless dweeb… then he died. Unfortunately for him that was just the beginning of his troubles. He awoke to find himself a vampire, one of the legendary predators of the night. Unfortunately for him, he was still at the bottom of the food chain.
Now he finds himself surrounded by creatures stronger, deadlier and a … stronger, deadlier and a whole lot cooler than he is. Worst yet, they all want him dead… permanently this time.
Bill isn’t exactly average, though. A vampire like him hasn’t been seen in centuries. He’s got a few tricks up his sleeve, unlikely allies, and an attitude problem that makes him too damn obnoxious to quit.
Join him in this hilarious tale of monsters, mayhem, and the unlikely hero who’s not afraid to tell them all off… even if it gets his teeth kicked in.

Book review for Bill the Vampire by Rick Gualtieri on audiobook format. Bill the Vampire had been sitting on my TBR list for a long time. I had heard that Bill the Vampire was funny and I was in the mood for funny. What can I say sometimes a reader craves bloodshed. Sometimes a reader craves funny.
Bill the Vampire was not funny to me. I have …
A laugh riot!
Bill is a nerd who gets turned into a vampire, but his master wants him permanently dead. An elder vampire intervenes and places Bill under his protection. The problem is that protection only last 90 days. Bill has a short time to learn the ropes and figure out how to survive.
The book is light-hearted and funny. It is chalked full …
I loved the mix of the world’s worst nerd vampire and humor. There’s also plenty of vampire action.
I loved this book! Sure it’s a different look at vampires but still very enjoyable. I laughed and laughed many times. The trials and tribulations of learning to become a worthy vampire.
The secondary characters are amazing! Bill aka Dr Death has a couple roomies who decide to help him test his abilities. They cracked me up! Then there is …
Bill the Vampire is a geeky, funny, action-y take on the genre. In over his head, newly-created vampire Bill tries to keep himself alive/undead for longer than his enemies would wish. He has a lot to learn, but with the right attitude, the help of his friends, and a bit of luck, he might be ready to fight the Big Bad and win the girl. A good read!
I read them all!
