Conquer. Control. Command. They have. They are. They will. They are the Wall Street Royals, men at the top of their game who are about to be mastered by the one thing they never counted on: love. Don’t miss the second book in the seductively sexy new series by New York Times bestselling author Tara Sue Me.Big Swinging D: Term used for the baddest badass on Wall Street. That guy. The one other men … guy. The one other men want to be and that women just want.
Maggie Warren has always been unfocused. She hops from job to job, and relationship to relationship. Most of the time, she’s not even looking where she’s going. Which is exactly what happens when she runs into Isaac Gregory, trips over her feet, and dumps a year’s worth of compost all over his hand-stitched suit and one-of-a-kind leather shoes.
Isaac’s never met anyone like Maggie. She’s nothing like the women he works with, or the submissives he typically dates. Sure, she’s got a knockout body and a wit to match, but she’s a free spirit and hopelessly scattered. He should not be attracted to her. But he is.
After hearing she’s between jobs, he offers her his recently vacated Personal Assistant position. She readily agrees, but isn’t sure why he’d hire her. He’s her exact opposite: structured, organized, and controlled.
Boy, does he like control. And it intrigues her, especially when she discovers his private life.
Isaac’s not surprised when Maggie grows more and more interested in both of the worlds she sees him in: the public boardroom badass and the private well-respected Dominant. He tells her if she’s interested, he has a plan. A plan so hedonistic it could only be proposed by the man nicknamed the Big Swinging D.
But even Wall Street isn’t prepared for the fallout when the king of control falls for the queen of chaos.

Perfect intro to BDSM Lifestyle story
I really enjoyed this book. I have read quite a few books in the past where the heroine first goes to a BDSM club or is interested in the lifestyle and she ends up in a situation that I feel uncomfortable with from the start (especially thinking from the POV of the heroine) but also just me as a reader. However, this story has Maggie meeting Isaac and working as his assistant prior to finding out he is a Dom, she is already attracted to him when he begins to show her “The Club” and the BDSM lifestyle.
It is written in a very sexy way as they communicate about it and get to know each other over a few weeks or months and I really liked the flow of the romance, the steamy sex scenes, and the overall story.
Big Swinging D by Tara Sue Me is book Two in the Wall Street Royals Series. This is the story of Isaac Gregory and Maggie Warren. I haven’t yet read the previous book, so for me this was a standalone book.
Isaac is a leader on Wall Street, determined, focused, organized and a Dom in his private. Maggie is not focused, looses jobs, klutzy and is just the total opposite of Isaac. When Maggie tumbles into his life he is immediately attracted to her even though she isn’t his usually type. When he learns she is between jobs, Isaac ends up offering a job that came open as his Personal Assistant. Of course this leads them to have more access to each other and start to learn more about the other person.
Loved their Story.
This author never ceases to amaze me. She’s got ability to weave words together and create a compelling, hot as hell and addictive plot and Big Swinging D was just that and more.
She managed to write a hot as hell, witty and fun plot for Maggie and Isaac.
I absolutely adored them. Their chemistry, their banter, the push and pull and the fact that these two humans couldn’t be anymore different from each other but I found the way the two bounced off of each others’ personality was perfect.
Maggie was a bit of a hot mess. She went from job to job, not able to stay focused on just one for any decent length of time, and the same can be said for her love life. She was every where and no where, she was literally a hot mess with a free spirit.
Isaac was the complete opposite of Maggie. He was level headed, he was focused, he was driven, and he was successful and after Maggie literally ran into him and fell to his feet. Isaac offered her a job and she took it.
Maggie was not the sort of woman he would typically be attracted to. In fact, she was the complete opposite and she was definitely not the type of submissive he would even go anywhere near, but here he was strangely attracted to the hot mess that was Maggie….. and this was the start of a strange, fun, and perfect romance.. with a few twists and turns thrown in.
I absolutely loved this. I loved the opposite attract, and I love that the book was fun, yet still held that intense spark that I have ALWAYS loved about this authors books… and of course, the kink.
Anyone who knows me, knows that I love my kink reads and that, when it comes this sub-genre/trope, Tara Sue Me is a #1 favourite of mine.
She cannot write a bad book, in my opinion and the Wall Street Royals series so far is nothing less than perfect.
I can’t wait to see what she’s got to her sleeve for us next!
5 stars!!
Love is easy and comfortable.
This is the story of Isaac & Maggie. Isaac works on Wall Street. Maggie is wealthy, due to an inheritance from her husband’s death. They meet when they literally bump into each other; her carrying compost, and him walking to try and clear his head. Due to circumstances Isaac offers her the job of being his personal assistant. She finds out on the sly that Isaac is a Dom. Maggie has always wanted to explore being a submissive. There’s just one problem. No fraternizing at work. They are definitely attracted to each other, so there is a lot of steam between them. She gets another job offer, so she quits, leaving her wide open for a relationship with Isaac. Many things happen in between and after all this. Such a surprise near the end, too. Tara Sue Me has that knack of writing well written stories that you can’t put down. Looking forward to the last book in this series.
Easy to read. Great writing. So glad I got this.
I liked the story. It was interesting and steamy and it kept my attention. Would like to continue with this series.
I loved it.
Enjoyed this book.
My first read by the author and it did not dissappoint. I loved the fun parts of the story that was so unexpected, but it also had the BSDM factor though light still brought the heat level that I enjoyed. Isaac and Maggie’s character were very likable, yet so different from each other and I loved that they were able to find their HEA. This is a definite must read for those who loves the unexpected in romance.
3.5 stars–BIG SWINGING D is the second instalment in Tara Sue Me’s contemporary, adult WALL STREET ROYAL erotic,BDSM, romance series focusing on business partners Ty Bancroft, Isaac Gregory and Lance Braxton. This is Wall Street investor and Dominant Isaac Gregory, and widow/submissive Maggie Warren’s story line. BIG SWINGING D can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Isaac was introduced in book one FOK
Told from dual third person perspectives (Isaac and Maggie) BIG SWINGING D follows the building personal, professional and D/s relationship between Wall Street investor and Dominant Isaac Gregory, and widow/submissive Maggie Warren. Isaac Gregory is desperate to find a replacement for his former PA but everyone has failed to meet expectations. An accidental meeting with Maggie Warren finds Isaac offering Maggie the position as his new PA as he considers offering her the position as his new submissive. What ensues is the quick building D/s relationship and romance between Maggie and Isaac, and the potential fall-out as Maggie’s past seeks revenge for a crime she did not commit.
The relationship between Maggie and Isaac is quick to develop but Isaac doesn’t do relationships outside of ‘The Club’ but Maggie stirs something deep within our story line hero, something he is willing to test if only Maggie were not his new PA. The $ex sense are intimate, erotic and intense.
The ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters include Maggie’s former in-laws Tobias and Edith Warren. We are reintroduced to Isaac’s business partner Ty Bancroft, and Lance’s grandmother Barbara Murphy.
BIG SWINGING D is a story of insta-lust/love; a D/s relationship that quickly grows into something more; a tale of betrayal, secrets, and vengeance. The fast paced premise is entertaining; the romance is lively and spirited; the characters are energetic and charismatic
great balance of story line and sex scenes.
Some bdsm books tend to lean all on the sex scenes- that is not the case with this book. There is plenty of story line before the couple becomes involved as well as continues during their involvement (some books tend to stop.outside story line and just focus on sex once it occurs- not the case with this book)
The part of chapter 1 from FOK that is included at the end of this book is intriguing so I will be getting that book and also looking into other books by this author.
Happy reading 😉
Liked the story line !
Just ok. If a sweet kinky romance isn’t to much of oxymoron that’s what I’d call it.
Great book & Read. Easy & would recommend.
Quick read.
Quick easy read. Needs better proof readers
Great read
This book drew me in immediately but then fizzled out a bit. The BDSM scenes had potential but never fully delivered. LOVED the characters and the unexpected twist. Very fast read.
I did enjoy Isaac and Maggie’s story but found it very confusing at first. The first couple of chapters started off in different tenses without notice. Tied into FOK (book #1), Isaac is one of Lance’s business partners. Maggie is a widow dealing with the aftermath of her husband’s death. I liked that this installment had a bit of mystery/twist you didn’t see coming thrown in. If it wasn’t for those first few chapters, I could have absolutely rated this higher.
Absolutely adored this book. I wish it was longer. Maggie was such a fun h. Issac was such an amazing H. I loved their connection. I wish the story was longer but just because I enjoyed it so much.
