It’s not just the motion of the ocean, ladies. It’s definitely the SIZE of the boat too.
And I’ve got both firing on all cylinders. In fact, I have ALL the right assets. Looks, brains, my own money, and a big cock.
You might think I’m an asshole. I sound like one, don’t I? I’m hot as sin, rich as heaven, smart as hell and hung like a horse.
Guess what? You haven’t heard my story before. Sure, I … story before. Sure, I might be a playboy, like the NY gossip rags call me. But I’m the playboy who’s actually a great guy. Which makes me one of a kind.
The only trouble is, my dad needs me to cool it for a bit. With conservative investors in town wanting to buy his flagship Fifth Avenue jewelry store, he needs me not only to zip it up, but to look the part of the committed guy. Fine. I can do this for Dad. After all, I’ve got him to thank for the family jewels. So I ask my best friend and business partner to be my fiancée for the next week. Charlotte’s up for it. She has her own reasons for saying yes to wearing this big rock.
And pretty soon all this playing pretend in public leads to no pretending whatsoever in the bedroom, because she just can’t fake the kind of toe-curling, window-shattering orgasmic cries she makes as I take her to new heights between the sheets.
But I can’t seem to fake that I might be feeling something real for her.
What the fuck have I gotten myself into with this…big rock?
BIG ROCK is a standalone, dirty romance novel written from the guy’s POV by NYT Bestselling author Lauren Blakely…

Loved this book, characters were easy to love.
This was a fun and sexy story. Fake engagement with real sex equals yummy story. It had some good twists and turns. I would read it again.
loved it
I love this author. This book was especially funny and entertaining. It’s told by the male character which is different yet believable. Great summer read!
Man this girl can write! Loved it.
A shaky start – but the cocky rogue becomes the hero eventually, saved by his long time friend, but not without tribulations.
Really kept my interest
Best friends pretend to be engaged – while the story line is not original – the story itself is. Spencer and Charlotte have great chemistry, fun and sexy times together. This was a fun, quick, sexy read. Looking forward to reading other books in the series.
Best friends falling for each other… what’s not to love?
Spencer is a hoot. Love the male POV. Charlotte is wonderful and these two deserve all the smokin’ sex they share!
Loved this book, couldn’t put it down and was sad when it ended. Loved the storyline and the characters
Cute book, told from a mans point of view!
I rarely read modern romance novels because they usually miss the point but this! OMG i loved it. I loved the fact that it was told from the guy’s point of view. I t was awesome. Authentic, deep, flirty, funny, whimsical. It made me fall in love with Spencer a little bit.
I read (and went nuts for) Mister O years ago but for some reason, this one got buried in my TBR pile. Needless to say, I’m regretting that error!
Sometimes, when a book sticks with one POV (in this case the hero’s), I can feel like I am missing half the story. However, in this series, the single POV is done so well that you never wonder what the other half of the couple is thinking or feeling. High marks also for Lauren Blakely’s spot-on grasp of the way men think and talk to each other! Spencer is hilarious and sexy and all-around awesome. Totally need to re-read book two now!
If you’re in the mood for a lighthearted romance with some steam and humor, I recommend this. Not a boring moment. Here it’s the “pretend engagement” theme that predictably leads to more. How Spencer and Charlotte get to the “more” is entertaining. Their banter had me laughing out loud.
3 alarm hotness. If your looking for a smoken hot story with not much outside of the home then this book is for you. It does have a great ending though.
Storyline fun and character development good. Wanted less sex because I figured what Spencer was about within a page when he described Char.
great book
I absolutely loved this book! It’s definitely a cliché story but one that gets me every time. I laughed, I cried but I fell in love! Sometimes the cheesiest stories are just the best stories. It’s the kind of book you read with a glass of wine.
Spencer owned the Lucky Spot with his partner Charlotte. Spencer is known around town as a playboy who is extremely well hung. Spencer’s father owned a famous jewelry store he and his sister were summoned for a meeting with the buyer. Spencer has to change his image so his father can sell the store. Spencer told a little white lie he told them that he got engaged the night before. Now he has to talk to Charlotte into helping him out by going along with the lie. Charlotte is somewhat driving Spencer crazy from kissing him in the park to get a point across. The couple was having dinner with everyone and the subject of where to have the wedding comes up. They had to spend more time together until the papers for jewelry store are signed and then they will break up. Things are going along well they were really pulling this off.Twists, turns, deceit and
forgiveness. Hot Hot Hot Story.
