It’s not just the motion of the ocean, ladies. It’s definitely the SIZE of the boat too.
And I’ve got both firing on all cylinders. In fact, I have ALL the right assets. Looks, brains, my own money, and a big cock.
You might think I’m an asshole. I sound like one, don’t I? I’m hot as sin, rich as heaven, smart as hell and hung like a horse.
Guess what? You haven’t heard my story before. Sure, I … story before. Sure, I might be a playboy, like the NY gossip rags call me. But I’m the playboy who’s actually a great guy. Which makes me one of a kind.
The only trouble is, my dad needs me to cool it for a bit. With conservative investors in town wanting to buy his flagship Fifth Avenue jewelry store, he needs me not only to zip it up, but to look the part of the committed guy. Fine. I can do this for Dad. After all, I’ve got him to thank for the family jewels. So I ask my best friend and business partner to be my fiancée for the next week. Charlotte’s up for it. She has her own reasons for saying yes to wearing this big rock.
And pretty soon all this playing pretend in public leads to no pretending whatsoever in the bedroom, because she just can’t fake the kind of toe-curling, window-shattering orgasmic cries she makes as I take her to new heights between the sheets.
But I can’t seem to fake that I might be feeling something real for her.
What the fuck have I gotten myself into with this…big rock?

It’s hilarious. I love the book from beginning to end, specially the opening dialogue of Spencer.Lauren describes how two best friends falling in love with each other. No silly misunderstanding or love triangle. I look forward to read rest of series.
The characters and their friendship made this a fun read with extra witty dialog and smoking hot unrealized passion and attraction for the other.
This book was exactly what I was expecting it to be. It was sweet with moments of humor, and a likable couple. It was an easy, light read it was just the kind of book I wanted to read and the blurb sets you up for exactly what’s to come.
Charlotte and Spencer have been friends forever, they even have a business with each other because who else could they trust with their business except each other.
Spencer’s father is looking to sell his business, neither Spencer nor his sister have an interest in it, but there one person that is capable of buying it. The problem they want the clean-cut family image, which means Spencer needs to not appear in gossip mags and not mention the app that made him his money. Without thinking he says he has a fiancé, not just any fiancé but his best friend Charlotte.
Things are going well, but Spencer never expected that Charlotte would proposition him, she’s attracted to him, and it’s been a while, so while there being fiancé’s she wants them to be more. They set ground rules, it’s only for the week while she’s his fiancé, then they go straight back to being friends. Then Charlotte list the last rule – no falling in love. It should be easy they both know it won’t happen.
Spencer realises he may have been wrong, he’s father makes Spencer realise that he’s not seeing everything, actions speak louder than words, and his dad is going to help him win back not only his best friend but the woman he loves.
Best friends to lovers romance.
Big Rock is a great read, it’s funny, heartwarming and has likable characters.
Spencer is such a laid back character, he’s cocky but a great guy, it was a pleasant journey to see this playboy bachelor finally find his match.
“…bigger is better. It’s more fun. Ask any woman who’s ever had to utter the dreaded words,
“Is it in yet?”
When Spencer has to pretend to be engaged for a week to help his dad with a business deal, give his dad the happy family look instead of the “my son’s a man-whore and playboy look”, Spencer asks his life long friend and business partner Charlotte to do the deed and of course she says yes, Charlotte has always been there for Spencer and Vice Versa.
The pretending becomes so real, friend barriers begin to get crossed and I loved it, it was so hot, sexy and I laughed out loud so many times.
A great read with no cheating and leads to hea, told in Spencer’s pov.
Listened on audio narrated by Sebastian York the narrator’s voice really suited Spencer’s character
I really enjoyed reading this book!!
Love the cover from this book!
I listened to this fun romance on Audible and it was the super talented Sebastian York!!
Charlotte and Spencer went to college together and after they opened a successful business chain. He asks her to be his fake fiancee for a week, to help his image for his father’s potential business buyer.
This was a fun friends to lovers romance! I laughed and I loved the story line. I also enjoyed listening to it from a male’s point of view. A must listen/read!
I would not want to write a spoiler. It’s too good a book to do that. The surprises and twists in this humorous, romantic story will keep you thoroughly entertained. I love to pick up a book that makes me that happy when I read it. It relates, has a great plot, and characters to love and admire. A charming man and a sassy female that will make you pleased you chose it. I am.
This was my first Lauren Blakely book and I have read every one after! Love friends to lovers and this book had it all! Great characters, a great storyline and plenty of steam and romance.
was so arrogant and cocky, I was surprised to see that Lauren fliped him into a good character. Anybody who’s into them selves that much do not have compassionate bones in their body. Charlotte was also a suprise to me because she was the one to make the first moves towards Spencer. I enjoyed the emotions in this book
What a wonderful story. I enjoyed it from the very first word. I laughed hard and oh those sexy parts were positively delicious. All of the characters added something to the story which is not always the case with some authors so thank you Lauren. I have read other books by Lauren so I’m familiar with her work. I must say that Big Rock is my favorite book by Lauren. Until next time y’all happy reading.
“I’m the playboy who’s actually a great guy. Which makes me one of a kind.”
I loved this book. I loved the humor, friendship, family dynamics, loyalty and the steamy, steamy, fan yourself moments!
“She’s an angel who’s come to sin with me.”
