Life is counted in tiny breaths, ones that measure the length of your existence. Life stole the ability to make those breaths easy when Lily was nine years old. Turned her quiet. Made her curl into herself, and shut out a world that threatened to bury her under its weight. The end of her world is what brings him back—her biker. His chocolate eyes pierce her soul while his club tempts her with a … her with a life that she didn’t know she could ever have. Especially not when she was clutching the tattered remains of her existence, and with a weight bearing down on her which makes her unfit for the role of Old Lady. Asher changes that. He wants to set about repairing it, repairing her and her broken world. The problem is, even his strong shoulders can’t carry the burden of her sorrow.
Asher doesn’t take no for an answer. She may have given him her heart three years ago, but never in her wildest dreams would she imagine she had possessed his for the same amount of time.
Just when it seems like she may be able to ride off into the horizon, the world isn’t quite finished trying to rob her of breath. Of life.

5 Full of Grief Stars
Fantastic addition to the Sons of Templar Series.
Beyond The Horizon is Lilly and Asher’s story, Not only was there all kinds of surprises in store for us we got some twists and turns that I did not see coming as well. It was jam packed with the feelings and it was like a roller-coaster of emotions throughout. It dealt with real world problems and the reactions to grief were amazingly done.
We got so much of Lucky, I love him.. I am gearing myself up for his story after the events of this book. I’m loving this series and Anne Malcom comes up with the most amazing secondary characters that make her books so exciting to read. I’m already on to the next one.
Asher and Lily’s story.
While we didn’t really see much of these two in the first three books, there story was just as demanding to be heard as the others. To be honest, this book was a bit more sad and depressing. There is a LOT of angst in this book and it hurts to read some of it. But it is also a very beautiful story.
Anne Malcom writes alpha males that are all demanding and possessive yet different and unique in their own way. And this is how all the Sons of Templar men are portrayed. With Asher, I’d say the relationship and journey with Lily was a little more rougher than all the other guys. Lily is truly dependant and doesn’t like to bother people. And with the recent loss of her mother, Lily feels alone and depressed. She can’t be the girl Asher wants her to be and that’s why she keeps him at arm’s length.
I honestly can’t write for Anne’s books anymore because I am literally just repeating myself. Her books are EVERYTHING! She perfectly portrays my favourite type of alpha male & writes heroines that are stubborn and determined. I love it!
Goodness me every time i finish an Anne Malcom book i am super excited for the next one in the series and this was no different.
Beyond the Horizon was such a special story, i know bikers are the big bad men but got i love how sweet they are especially Asher he was so loving and sweet and perfect for our quiet Lily.
As we had already met these two in previous books it was so good to find out there stories and what they had been through and i really liked how these two had such a similar heartbreak that they could relate so well and you knew why they had such great chemistry.
Lily lost one of the most important people that you have in your life and the fact that she was basically her career as well was so sad, Lily was so shy and quiet and just didn’t believe in her self worth and that was hard to understand especially the way the author described her being so beautiful, i loved that Asher came in and told her different.
Asher was a great character and i really liked him as well and he had a dark side where he lost someone that was his life and he just went on his business day by day till he met Lilly and had someone to live for they are so good together.
This story was much more than your love story, there was drama and action, i loved reading all the previous characters that we already read about and letting Bex Lilly’s best friend who has a freaking huge story behind her and if you read this book we know we are in for a hell of a ride for the next book.
Loved this book and can’t wait to read more in the series and find out what happens loved loved this book
I’m loving this series! An excellent book that had all the feels. Only issue…I need more of this ‘family.’ It’s a good thing I’m late to the party. This series is complete.
Sons of Templar series is a must read! Each book carries on the story of the club and introduces the readers to new characters.
Lilly and Asher met three years ago. The shy, backwards young woman captured the eye of the gorgeous brooding biker, but she walked away after one night. Not because she wanted to, but life for Lilly has always been a struggle as she suffers from a social anxiety disorder. Life becomes unbearable when she finds out that her mom is terminally ill. Struggling to take care of dying mother takes everything she has and when she loses her is destroys her. When Asher finds out the truth of why she walked away he will stop at nothing to be by her side, giving her the support that she needs to come out the other side. Their story is beautifully broken in the beginning, but they finish stronger together.
Lilly’s shyness holds her back from life and her constant lack of confidence is the only thing I find fault with. I sometimes felt she didn’t deserve Asher, but in the end, she shows that she is as strong as any of the other women in this series and strong enough to stand by Asher’s side.
Lily and Asher did not disappoint. Again I cannot mention how much I love this series. The characters and storylines are amazing.
Lily was traumitized when she was nine years old and didn’t know if she could come out of her quiet world, but Asher remembers her from long ago and tries to bring her into the light, but her past comes back to haunt her.
As with all of Anne’s books, I have read this story so many times. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… it’s so hard to put into words how much you love something…
Another beautiful story from Anne Malcom! I absolutely adored Lily and Asher’s story. The character development was outstanding. There was a beautiful rollercoaster of emotions that will make your head spin. I laughed, cried, screamed…
Have you ever read something and suddenly felt like a piece of you was fixed that you didn’t realize was broken? That’s what this book did for me.
I HIGHLY recommend this one!!!!
Another amazing read from Anne Malcom. Lily and Asher’s story is heartbreaking at times and I felt this book was beautifully and carefully written with such a serious subject matter. Don’t get me wrong – there were still plenty of laughs and hot chemistry but also more.
I really look forward to the next read in this series.
