A slow burn that’ll leave you….Breathless…
-New Release Sale-
Some people are born with a silver spoon in their mouths and lady luck tucked into their back pocket. Then there’s people like me, who live to survive. Survive loss. Survive loneliness. Survive the black tar that swallows you whole, stealing everything and anything that could resemble a piece of happiness. They try and fail, try … They try and fail, try again and fail even harder. Starting life’s never ending cycle of wash, rinse, and repeat.
That’s me. Or it was. Ten years I wandered through life. Through ten towns. Through ten men. Then, I didn’t anymore. A hellacious storm came and ripped everything away, leaving me stripped bare for the most beautiful man. A man part of the Corrupt Chaos Motorcycle club, who not only saved my life but rescued my soul. Or so it may seem from the outside. On the inside, it’s not that simple. Life never is.
It’s dirty.
It’s ugly.
And it’s painstakingly relentless.
I’m Magdalene Murdock and this is my story.
Warning: Contains adult sexual content, Scottish dialect, an arseload of profanity, and whatever the hell else that makes it unsuitable for folks under the age of 18.
– Standalone Novel
Approx 130k Words in Length.

This book is so good you definitely will want to read it. I was captivated from the start. With her unique writing style this author spins a tale that will leave you breathless, laughing and smiling, falling in love with the characters while making your heart go out to what they’ve each endured. Lachlan and Magdalene’s story starts with a storm raging on outside but also on the inside. Both have damaged souls, are broken and not looking to emotional depend on another. Lachlan is a hot bossy Scottish guy that will make any woman swoon with his sexy accent. He’s drawn to Magdalene in a way he’s never been with anyone else. Their relationship is rocky, has drama but is realistic. Would totally recommend. Received an ARC copy from author for a honest review
I have read almost all of Bink’s books and no matter what this will always be my favorite. It struck something in me. Maybe because it doesn’t have BBW anywhere in the title or description and with love, honesty, and compassion we meet Mags who is not a single digit in size, has self esteem issues and issues with depression from loneliness and loss. Mags is beautiful outside and inside.
Maybe I love it because I love Scotland and Wales and Smoke is my dream Highland warrior come to life. In the end, sure no one is perfect and events in life leave lasting scars mentally and emotionally not just physically, but strong love wins out. I will always read this and dream maybe this aging Kentucky woman can find a hot, Scottish, alpha biker who is a grouch at times but a heart of gold.
I am a Sacred Sister but man do I dream of Corrupt Chaos MC men.
Loved it
Great read. I love the characters.
Must read by Bink! Mags is a fiesty down to Earth girl who ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Smoke is her white knight in a kilt who comes to her rescue. Great story with some unforgettable characters! Loved it!
Another fantastic read from Bink!
This is a heartwarming journey that is filled with trials and tribulations. Two broken soles. Both seeking for something.. love perhaps? Healing takes time. This book provides just that. An excellent read!!!
Uggg Lachlan… he stole my heart!!!
Having already been a big fan of Bink Cummings’ MC Chronicles series, I didn’t quite know what rabbit hole she was venturing into with Beyond Her Words. I knew there was a Scottish firefighter/biker named Lachlan, who had an accent. I knew there was a broken woman with a cool car named Magdalene. I knew to expect a fabulous story, as Bink gives with all her books.
What I didn’t expect was how hauntingly beautiful Beyond Her Words would be. I savored this book, slowly. Heaven like this cannot be rushed! Bink definitely outdid herself with this one!
Magdalene and Lachlan were both so broken, I didn’t know how they would ever, IF they would ever, find a happily ever after. I rooted for them, yelled at them, cried with them. I ugly cried with them!
Lachlan is my new Book Boyfriend I will not be giving up anytime soon. The man with a heart of gold, ‘daddy snuggles’ for his girl, kilt-wearing, panty-wetting Scottish accent (which I had no trouble reading), and inner demons that broke my heart, he loved hard and forever.
This book will stay with me as one of the best books I’ve ever read. You know it’s a good book when you don’t want to let it go, and you still think about it as time goes on.
As always Bink Cummings is an amazing writer! You will be addicted and never stop another great book and love story! All these characters blow my mind never stop writing! Thanks for a great ride!
Loved it!!!!
What’s better than a book by Bink Cummings?
A book by Bink Cummings featuring a big, sexy, Scottish biker and fireman who has a huge heart and is a bit broken.
Oh there’s a heroine too, actually this book is about her I just get a little distracted by big kilt wearing Scots.
Magdalene had a rough start early on in life. Her worthless mother is gone and her grandmother raised her. She gave her a good life, then tragedy strikes and in the span of four months everything shes known and loved is taken from her.
She spends the next ten years bouncing from place to place never finding what she wants or needs, she simply exists.
Stopping in the middle of nowhere for gas a storm comes up and her life is about to change.
Waking up in a hospital with strangers claiming to know her is pretty unsettling, finding that you cannot speak and these people you don’t know intend to take you home to recover is a bit frightening. After all the big guy in leather doesn’t say much an when he does he’s snapping at someone.
Lachlan. Yes even his name’s sexy. His daughter Bridgette is Mags primary care giver once their home. Staying together in the basement where Bridgette’s bedroom is keeps her separate from the grumpy man and the woman he’s married to.
As Mags heals she finds more than just her strength coming back, her feisty attitude paired with a need to put some distance between herself and Lachlan makes for some interesting conversations!! She finds herself growing more attached to him. The attraction and sexual tension are crazy good. But she refuses to be the other woman so she pushes any and all feelings down and tries to separate herself from him as much as possible.
Lachlan won’t let her push him away. He likes being around her and yes he’s attracted to her but he has issues, some seriously effed up emotional issues. Given to him by someone close. It’s killing me not to go into detail but that would be a spoiler and I hate them so just know Lachlan has as much crap to overcome as Mags does maybe more so.
As always a book by Bink Cummings is an amazing read that sucks you in and refuses to let you go until the very end. I hated stopping to feed my family but it had to be done.
While Beyond Her Words is different than her previous series, if you enjoy her style of writing you don’t want to pass this one up. There’s still the MC element it’s just not the main focus in this story, this is about Magdalene. Her past, her fears and her choices.
Five stars are simply not enough, I’d love to give this one 10+ it’s that good. The secondary characters will endear themselves to you in their own special ways as well.
Other than one. I disliked one character from the get go and later on hated them. You’ll figure out who I’m talking about.
I wanted to hunt this person down and beat them to death, as harmful as they are they don’t deserve to breathe. The horrific pain this person caused made me so angry, I kept waiting for something to happen to them and it was a long time coming when it finally did. I just think this person deserved a wee bit more physical done to them.
Loved this one from beginning to end. I slowed down reading during the last chapter because I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to everyone, figured I could drag it out a bit but eventually it had to end.
Beyond Her Words is a page turner, I recommend starting this one when you have a few uninterrupted hours to sit and submerge yourself in the story, it’s one of the great ones you just can’t put down.
