Dead, snarky heroine? Check. Dead, sarcastic BFF? Check. Murdered ghost stuffed in a locker? Check.Death is not what Bridget Sway expected. Not at all.The afterlife is a mess of bureaucracy littered with nonsensical rules. It’s a fashion disaster for a uniform and a job that doesn’t pay. It’s a heinous communal living situation with housemates who have no concept of privacy or personal space. And … heinous communal living situation with housemates who have no concept of privacy or personal space. And it’s a handsome parole officer who is a stickler for those nonsensical rules that no one has bothered to explain.
As if all of that wasn’t bad enough, someone has stuffed a dead ghost in her locker … and the afterlife police are ready to pin the murder on her.

Great read, couldn’t put it down ! I enjoyed this book emensly. I ahve new favorite author.
I love stories that make me laugh. This one found a place in my heart .
Funny book. The only thing I didn’t like was how it ended. It seemed incomplete. But I think the author does that so you read the next book on the series.
I adore Bridget Sway! She may not have her priorities straight but how does? While I adore Bridget, Sabrina is almost perfect. Best friend shenanigans can’t get much more fun and interesting. Wonderful series. Give ’em a read, you know you want to. I promise, you won’t regret it. 😀
I would give this book 3.5 stars. I enjoyed it, but there were things that annoyed me also. The main character was a bit of a brat rather than just a strong and sassy character. Also, some things that happened made me roll my eyes and it was a little slow at times. I might be curious as to the next book, but I’m not going to actively pursue it.
Very good book, I enjoyed it a kot
Too slow moving.
I will want to read more from the author.
Fun read
Read this from cover to cover with a smile on my face. A new way of looking at the afterlife.
This was one of the more original novels I have read in a while. It has excellent characters and was entertaining from start to finish. I will definitely read the remaining novels in the series and have found a new author to follow!
I am still reading this book. I really enjoy it it is hard to put down.
I would highly recommend this book.
Reminds me of the television show “Dead Like Me,” but not nearly as entertaining. I felt like I was missing something from the beginning like there was another story I should have read first but as far as I know, this is the first in the series. I got bored and couldn’t finish reading it.
A fun book with lively characters and witty reparte
Did not hold my attention… deleted.
Readable but I just don’t like my heroines with quite so much attitude. Too much rambling snarky dialogue. On the other hand the setting & situation was very interesting
This was fun and different for me. I don’t think I have ever read a supernatural mystery/suspense before, but I’m liking this one. Right off the bat, the action starts and I genuinely had no idea what was going to happen next or who was a good guy or bad guy.
Boring. Could not get it’s plot going.
Hilarious. This original series keeps you laughing. Imagine being caught in the afterlife with no clothes, a sucky dead end job and being suspected of murdering dead people who keep falling in your path. I can’t put down these books and can’t wait for the next installment into Bridget’s life, wait I mean death, no after -life.
Loved it….so I bought the rest of the series
