He is 6’4″, flies a helicopter, and works and owns a ranch. What more can I say! Well, 12 years ago he broke his heart when he sees his one true love leave to pursue an acting career in NYC. Wouldn’t you know she is a success but never returns to see her grandmother who now needs to have surgery. This is the same grandmother who encouraged Clay to let her go. What a good book ! The characters came to life, and the plot gets to you.I would read more by this author.
Enjoyed it!
Wonderful book..Great characters..love stories about Texas Rangers..Wonderful writer..can hardly wait to read book #2 with Angie and the US Marshall..
A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. I fell in love with this book and cannot wait to read this series. Tragic which is something we almost all live through. It is the way we handle it and can move on that gets us through. This is a story about Clay and Kaitlyn and the dreams they follow and how life turns out for them.
I ordered this book as soon as I finished the one previous. The characters are real. This author makes you feel like you know the people and are part of the family. If they have a tragedy you feel it. You find yourself rooting for a happy ending.
I really enjoyed the story. It had family drama and a mystery as well as a love story. I highly recommend it. It is a fast read
I was very frustrated with this book at first because the people in the book weren’t communicating which led to some over dramatic actions but in the end it worked out.
Really enjoyed the books in this series.
A good book that will grab you from the start and keep you interested till the end.
I think Debra Holt is a very good writer and enjoyed the story.
