When Ryan Ball took in his nephew after his brother and wife died in a tragic car accident, his life was turned upside down. He’d needed help and that help meant going to Cedarville, Ohio, a town that in only a few days had sucked him in and made him never want to leave. So on a whim, he packed up his apartment and became the town’s newest resident. He swore to himself that moving had nothing to … had nothing to do with the sexy brunette that he’d had an instant attraction to the first time they’d met. Which was a total lie. If ever there was a reason to uproot your whole life, Addison Scott was in the top ten.
She drew him in with her smart mouth, gorgeous looks and big heart. Dating however, wasn’t in his comfort zone and he wasn’t sure how to navigate his new life while raising a child and falling for Addison.
One thing was for sure though, he wasn’t going to give up. Not when everything he wanted was within arms reach.
Join the rest of the gang as they welcome Ryan to Cedarville!

I enjoyed all the characters and their desires to cooperate and help each other.
Loving and sweet community of friends in this book…
Great read.
Sweet & romantic
What’s not to love about Ryan and Addison’s story. Ryan realized there was nothing for him and Reed to do but move to Cedarville. Yes Addison and the idea of living so close to her might have been part of it but basically it was time. Addison has kept guys and sex at bay after a few bad experiences left her feeling like she was the problem. She can’t keep lying to herself and Ryan either about her feelings but she can’t get out of her head. He of course is a saint and gives her all the time she needs. Settling in Cedarville may be the best decision of his life and while Addison is a major part of it he can’t deny how great it feels for him and Reed to have a real family.
Once again the magic of this small town has claimed another victim and this time it’s stealing them from other towns. Great story which just makes you love this group more with each book. This author gives you a read that is filled with emotion and steam. Great read
Just ok story.
sweet and romantic, good read
This book was a feel good book which I needed this year!
Sweet love story
An entertaining book with a realistic story, realistic characters and a happy ending!!!
A very quick easy read.
I really liked how he managed to take on his nephew and coparent with so many friends
Two people who have never successfully done relationships and think they are the problem discover together they are the solution. Lovely town … part of a series about this same town. Definitely want to read about the loves of their friends (It included Chapter 1 of a couple of them). My library said I’d already read it, but I had not. Glad it came up as a possible book in bookbub
Not much substance to this book. Just sex.
Addison and Ryan’s story is amazing and probably my favorite. Ryan’s raising his nephew after his brother and his brother’s wife pass away and has it in his head that he doesn’t have time for a relationship. I love the details of this series it’s like your right there in cedarville, all of the characters are amazing and they actually work for the relationship like they dont just see the other person and live happily ever after with them. This series is amazing and everyone should read it.
First thing I have to say, is this is a must read series starting from book one. I
have feel in love with each and every book. Meet Ryan Ball, When he brought his nephew Reed, to Cedarville to ask for help with him from Reed’s half-sister, he never thought he would meet someone who he couldn’t keep out of his mind. Addison had always been friendless until meeting Leah, Melanie and Carly but never thought she find a man who wouldn’t run from her because of sex. But the two of them meet and sparks are igniting between them. But nothing could come from it since he lived 500 miles away. But something made Ryan make some changes in his life , moving to Cedarville was the one that meant the most to him. Book #4 of this series is sweet, yet also hot, happy and sad, wonderful and fantastic. This is one of the best series that I have I have ever read and I read a whole lot of books. I hope to read the rest of the series since I have fallen in love with them.
Ryan Ball has recently made the transition to live in Cedarville, Ohio full time to make life easier for his nephew. At least that’s what he tells himself, he’ll never admit out loud that a certain beauty may have made his decision a little bit easier. But Ryan has a few insecurities that he’s pushed down that he’ll have to overcome and hope Addison can still love him if he isn’t the perfectly put together man he portrays to the world.
Addison Scott, for the most part has her life put together. She’s got an amazing job with her brother, friends now thanks to Tony and his interfering ways, all that’s left to work on his her romantic life. But after one too many run-outs she’s assumed that there is something wrong with her. Dating was something she wasn’t keen on repeating until Ryan entered the picture. But her insecurities about dating are still at the forefront and she’ll have to work through them to have a healthy relationship with him.
I adored Ryan and Addison. Both had their insecurities that they had to work through together to prove to the other that everything can be handled and dealt with when they communicate and work together. My only complaint about this story (and honestly it’s probably the whole series) is that while each book could be considered complete in the sense of the characters relationships, but the actual story for the characters still feels a bit unfinished…
In the case of Logan and Mel, throughout this entire book he’s been working on getting his gallery together and yet from his book through Carly and Tony’s and now he’s only just now finished but still not opened.
Carly and Tony…She just now is asking him to move in, although he’s there all the time. And then we discover he was going to ask Carly to marry him, but we don’t get to see this proposal!
Ryan and Addison…they had just moved in together, but let’s be honest she’s now going to be taking on a co-parenting role with Ryan, Carly, and Tony and I wish we would’ve gotten to see how this works for them.
I love visiting cederville. The town sounds great and the characters are believable.Ryan moves to Cederville because him and his nephew have fallen in love with it. Of course it also helps that Addison is there. I recommend this book and the series.
I found it to be a Little predictable. But it was still worth reading
interesting twist on a love story. Situation of main characters was imaginative.
