Helena will change in ways she never would have seen and find out information she is not sure she heard right.
I recommend reading the final book in this series. The ending of the book is really good. There is a lot going on in this final book, I tried not to spoil it with to much information. Once you start reading, you won’t stop until the final page. There are so many good moments in this book. I am truly sorry to see this series end.
A must read for all Urban and Paranormal Fantasy lovers!!
We start with Eric and Santanel on a killing spree, Raphael broken, Nasri super-sized, and Hel stuck in her own personal hell ~ you can’t top that for a killer start to the end ~ if that makes sense?!
Beelzebub finally gets Raphael to come up with a plan to bring Hel back – it might not be the best plan, or a very safe plan but it might actually work…..ok, it’s a terrible plan but it’s the only hope they’ve got!
I have LOVED this series and will miss these wonderful characters and hope for their return sometime in the future
This was a fitting end to the series. I loved it. I just hope at some point in the future we can revisit the characters and see how things are going for them.
Epic Finale!!!!
This series is hands down my favorite!! When you read a book and re-read it, all 6 of them it has to be good. This book starts with Helena dead and Raphael broken because he couldn’t save her. He is an archangel he should of been able to protect her. But that is not all . Erick has lost it he is the Prince of hell. He went full demon when he lost his mate. But the worst one is her father the devil when he lost his daughter there is no one safe!!! And to top it all off, all the portals are now open. So heaven, hell and the mortal realm is a free for all. I don’t want to give any spoilers so I’ll just say no one will give up on getting Helena back. This book is full of love, pain and survival. It is action packed and you won’t be able to put it down!!!!! Just grab a copy you will love it!!! I highly recommend this book!!!
Better the Devil You Know is the final book in the Broken Halos series. We start off with Raphael not doing too well and Eric fighting through humans, giving up on everything they held dear because Helena’s gone. Hel, in the meantime, isn’t sure where she is or even who she is, trapped in a world of grey.
This was a great final book to the series, with plenty of action and snark from Helena as she tries to find herself again, plus she has some new freaky-ass powers to contend with. Raphael keeps secrets throughout most of the book. And Eric is still Eric. He’s growly and grumpy for all the right reasons.
Although the pacing is perfect, this book doesn’t feel like the end to me. I guess it’s because Hel and Eric still have so much more to do. So, really, it feels more like the end of a season. Now I just need to wait and see if there will be a second season or if it will get cancelled!
I definitely recommend this book on the proviso that you are sensible and start at the beginning, otherwise you won’t know what the “Hel” is going on.

Archaeolibrarian – I Dig Good Books!
Book six starts where five left off with the killing of Helena. Eric and Colt have gone into destruction mode on all things and people and demons. Their wrath and grief have overcome them. Raphael is not up to par but is found by Beelzebub. They decide to reign in Eric and Colt before it is too late. Raphael, Eric, and Narsi go in search of Hel in Purgatory where she suffers. The jinn are still running amok causing havoc. When they do find her…they do not recognize her at first. They will have to travel to different portals, gain power back, fight hordes of demons, jinn’s, and other things. She also has to find her father. They have a final war to win! In the midst of the war, someone takes Hel and choices must be made and miraculous things happen~ Will this be the end of their story? I certainly hope not~ Maya Daniels gives us another exceptional and final book in the Halo saga. Parts of it will have you laughing and chuckling! It is filled with action, snark, humor and more! I received this copy as an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
