Had a tough time figuring out who done it. Kept me reading.
This is an OK book but I wouldn’t buy it.
I really related to the characters. The ending had a huge plot twister!
Too cliche and too improbable
easy, quick read
Sadly, this one didn’t do it for me; I couldn’t connect.
I know the author has worked hard and put her heart and soul into it, but I just couldn’t connect. That’s a huge thing for me; if I can’t relate to the main character at all, I can’t love the book. And Annabelle was too uptight for me, too boring. Oh she was nice and kind, but there wasn’t much to define her outside of work. And she was supposed to be so good at her job, yet she wasn’t organized at all, which I’d say would be very important for a wedding planner. And she wasn’t all that smart. When she tried to hide the body and thus contaminated the crime scene, I almost quit reading. Maybe I should have.
The story started out OK. But then Richard’s behavior started irritating me. He was just so judgmental! He was basically a mean girl. I think his nasty comments were meant to be funny, but they just missed the mark for me. Then things picked up again, but sadly, that was only short-lived. I just couldn’t make the connection to Annabelle. And I didn’t really like Kate, the assistant: too man-crazy. And, like I said, I really didn’t like Richard. Of course I read until I knew whodunit, because I didn’t want the mystery to go unsolved, but it just wasn’t exciting. Nothing special. It stayed flat. And it was all a bit too predictable. The conversations a bit lame at times. Oh, I’m so sorry for sounding so harsh! I really really really don’t like reviewing books I didn’t like, but I’m nothing if not honest. And sometimes I just don’t feel it; it wasn’t for me.
Fun characters.
Too silly!
Great series! Love that she started to write again!
Wedding planner and cast of kooky characters help solver wedding murder. fun characters – a bit over the top, but enjoyable.
I enjoyed this book. It held my attention and kept me guessing.
It took me awhile to figure out who did it so it kept me reading until the end.
Fun to read but a bit predictable.
I enjoyed the chemistry of all the characters. I want to keep reading more of their adventures. Easy reading and whimsical.
Well done mystery! I had a hunch who the murderer might be, but the story took many great twists and turns and kept me entertained throughout!
