Can a wedding planner use her skills to discover who’s killing her clients?Society wedding planner Annabelle Archer is no stranger to wedding day stress, but a dead body at her latest fete takes the cake. When suspicion falls on her best friend and … best friend and caterer Richard Gerard, she knows she must find the real culprit before his career is ruined along with her reputation for solving problems. But it’s no easy feat since the slain mother-of-the-bride was the most hated socialite in the city. Funny, loveable characters, well written, moves easily along and left me wanting to know what the characters were up to next. Love this series.
An enjoyable summer read. Cute & imaginary storyline.
Easy read who-dunit.
Love this series .The characters are fun and the writer seems to know DC. Being from the area it makes it all the more interesting,
Fun, witty, easy read.
A fun and easy read. I will look for more in this series.
It was a fun little easy and quick read that makes ya laugh and feel good. I enjoyed the characters personalities and how they all intetractd. It was a fun little book that i can’t wait to read more in the series.
Love the characters….funny
Slow to finalize story.
Entertaining! The book goes by fast..
I really enjoyed this book because it was light and still a mystery. I had just finished The Color of Water and it was a rather heavy book plus I had to go back and reread some parts of it twice so it was nice to read Better Off Wed and it had humor and mystery.
Nice light reading for the beach
Good entertaining read. I recommend it.
I enjoyed this enough to buy the author’s next book in her wedding planner series. Weddings are usually joyous and celebratory, but Ms. Dunham shows what goes into making those fairytale events sprinkled with murder on the side. This is fun recreational, escapist reading.
This was a fun read, but it was almost too fast a read.
Fun and entertaining
Laughed at loud a lot.
I couldn’t get to the halfway point on this one, despite my fondness for cozy mysteries. I didn’t develop any interest in the neurotic wedding planner, nor the family involved in the situation. Too b ad….the premise had promise.
