I can turn every man’s head…except his.
I command attention on the haute couture catwalks of Milan, Paris, and New York, but whenever I’m face-to-face with Drew Jackson, I feel like a gawky thirteen-year-old again—in love with a superstar who will never see me as anything more than his younger brother’s ex-girlfriend.
I tell myself Drew’s no longer a superstar. A long-ago car accident shattered … a superstar. A long-ago car accident shattered his knee and destroyed his football career. What is he compared to the celebrities who whirl me through one-night stands or Tyler, the brilliant and witty social media maverick who is determined to win my love?
Drew’s just…Drew. All logic and rationality aside, I want him.
When betrayal knocks me off my supermodel pedestal, it’s a long way to the bottom. Will my tenuous friendship with Drew survive my career, my fame, and the rocky transition to love?

In this one you follow the journey of a love that seems to not be seen. Maggie is a head turner beauty but she is more than that inside. She has unknowingly given her heart to Drew but he does not see her. So she drifts through life and then again there is Drew still. Oh don’t you love it a second chance. Then she has a tumble like Drew but in a different one but still she has a long one down. Drew is the man though who thinks he knows what best with out really thinking it through and just seeing one side. Of course the one who is the betrayal for her is a guy that draws her to Drew. Ah you just want to stay with it to see where they land and can they stand.
At first I thought I wouldn’t like this book because the characters irritated me. As time went on I became involved in their lives…wanting to slap them both. I enjoyed the ending and hoped they would both come to their senses.
Vera and Rowan are now married with two daughters. It is time to focus on Maggie. When she was 13, she fell for her boyfriend’s older brother, Drew. He got into an accident that ended his professional football career and she brought him out of his slump. He loved her then but promised her father to let her go to Milan and have her career. Then, she came back and they both ended up in New York. He handles all her finances and pays her bills. He tortures himself over all her dates and has one woman he has overnight visits with. As they continue to dance around one another, she finally confesses to him she loves him. Then, they weather two horrible traumas together only to have him once again in another accident. So, many truths are revealed after the accident and he is letting her go again to pursue her career. Now what will happen with him? Will she leave him behind for good? What about Felicity? What will she do once the truth of everything is learned? These two may have a happy ending but Felicity still has much to contend with as of yet…to be continued…I received this as an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.
After 10 years they finally get their chance. Maggie has loved Drew since she was thirteen years old, but he was older, and she went overseas for modelling and then to college. For the past five years they have both lived in New York but only see each other for a short time each month when Drew gives her an update on her investments. He is abrupt and all business, even though they have known each other for years. But what Maggie doesn’t know is that he has loved her for ten years but promise her father to stay away from her. But when Maggie accidentally hears the truth the gloves come off. She is going to finally her man, no matter what. This couple deserved to finally get their happily ever after. Drew had endured so much, and Maggie was always there for him, and unbeknownst to her, vice versa. I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily leaving a review.
