This is the fourth book in the series & could easily be read on its own. A quick very entertaining read that I read in an afternoon. The characters had plenty of depth, I loved both Richard & Christina & disliked some of the other characters but the more I read the more it became apparent not to take everyone on face value as there were underlying reasons for how some characters behaved. The pace was very good & there was plenty of machinations to keep me turning the pages, I think this is my favourite of the series & I recommend it
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read
This is an emotional roller coaster ride of a story. Characters you want to hate or really dislike, yet when you get to know them, you can’t help but feel for them and truly care for them. Although I do admit to hating one of the characters; and I wanted to cheer from the bottom of my lungs when they got “served”! And of course characters who you love, Christina and Lord Harlow are so great together and what they do for Lord Enfield, Mr. Markham, and Lady Burroughs made me laugh, cry and cheer out loud! Love, trust, and honor are amazing qualities to have.
This is the final book in the Convenient Arrangements Series and it is an enjoyable read. This is the story of Viscount Richard Harlow and Lady Christina. They meet and upon their second season decide to court, but before they could announce their intentions Lady Christina finds herself betrothed to another man. There is some scheming, mystery, and mild romance which all combines to make a good, quick read. This book can be read as a stand alone, but I suggest reading the entire series.

This is the last book in the Convenient Arrangements series. It is about lovely Lady Christina who has a crush on one Viscount Richard Harlow. They have meet a number of times during the last season and this one. He seems to enjoy her company and usually dances one or two with her. He has not ask to court her but she is already in love with him.
With the help of his best friend Lord Prestwick, who has just found a lady he is very taken with. Richard finally understands why he always looks for Christina at each ball, and enjoys talking to her and her wit and charming ways.
He builds up the courage to ask Christiana if he can court her. He is over joyed when she lets him know she has been hoping he would. So this should be a really happy time for this couple right ? Wrong, when Richards see’s Christina the next time, it is apparent she is upset and has been crying. She will not look him in the eye and tries to run away.
Her great aunt Lady Burraugh’s is her chaperone for this season. When they are leaving she tells him that due to problems with her father Christina is now betrothed to one Honorable Stephan Markham ! Who is the son of Baron Fulhan a very mean sprited person, obnoxious and cruel. The son is just like his father. Or is he ??
Richard can not understand why a Earl would let his daughter marry lower then her and to such a mean, nasty fellow.
Well this is where the mystery starts, all is not as it would seem, poor Christiana is being used a pawn with what looks like not way out.
There does not seen anyway for this to have a happy ending, but Richard with the help of Lord Prestwick are going to try and figure out what is going on and stop it before Christiana is forced to wed Mr Marham.
This story has lot of great characters, and twist and turns. An some great surprises too.
It’s a clean story, but lots of romance between the H and H.
I hope you will give it a chance, a mystery, two lovely people who just want to be together. Those who want to tear them apart……
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Lord Harlow and Lady Christina are starting to really like each other. However, right when things started moving along in their relationship, an unexpected event caused things to come to a halting stop.
Beyond their control to help out the situation, they didn’t know what to do. After both of them did some beginner spy work, they finally came to a solution. They just hoped it works!

Rose Pearson
Lady Christina has hope that Lord Harlow will enter into a courtship with her. She is happy when he asked her. The next day he is worried that he has said something that’s upset her.
Christina woke up and went to inform her father that she is now courting Lord Harlow but before she does she hears loud voices in her fathers study.
Mr. Markham and his wife are calling in a bet that her father has made when he was in his cups. She storms into the study and demands that Mr Markham and his wife leave at once that they are not to speak to an Earl they way they are.
Only Mr Markham laughs and demands that she wed his son. She must or her father could be called out to a duel. She agrees to save his life. Now she must give up her love of Lord Harlow.
Will she be able to? Will Mr Markham wed her or release her.
Truly enjoyed reading this story! Wonderful out turn for all involved.
