In this sequel to Flames Among the Frost, Jetta and Conrad are planning a wedding, but betrayals might destroy them before they can say “I do.”Jetta and Conrad’s big day approaches, and like many brides, Jetta’s feeling pre-wedding jitters, stemming from a lot of self-doubt. When her ex-boyfriend suddenly returns to town after a twenty-year absence, her concerns kick into high gear. His timing is … kick into high gear. His timing is suspicious, and her grumpy father, Old Man Mills, is unusually chipper. Something is amiss.
Jetta wants nothing to do with Turner Ireland, a fellow frost dragon. He left her years ago, and she’s so over him. She just wants to focus on her wedding and begin her new life, but he refuses to leave her alone. Meanwhile, Conrad is willing and ready to do whatever necessary to get Turner away from the woman he loves. But Turner’s determined to claim what was once his.
A unique wedding, a persistent ex-boyfriend, an untrustworthy father, a jealous groom, and Jetta’s penchant for disaster may just create the spectacle of the year—if the wedding happens at all. Betrayals and lies may just be the end of Jetta and Conrad.

Gotta love a good Drama
Wow, talk about family drama with a lot of fire and ice, or maybe hot and cold. With all the stories I have read in this series, next to Roman Bishop, Lawerence Mills makes me want to grow into a dragon and eat him.
There is so much up and down in this story that you cannot help but be glued to the book until the last page. You will never know what is going on thru the whole book. There will be laughs and tears thru each page.
Be ready for the ride of your life.
Until Next Time… Tabi
I read this book in one sitting, I couldn’t put it down! I was captivated right from the start. The storyline was so true to life with the exception of the dragons. A Father who doesn’t really except a child that isn’t his own. An ex-boyfriend that comes back with intentions to get you back any way he can, no matter what. A man that makes you melt every time you are with him and your heart aches for him when your not together. A Wedding where if it could go wrong it did. Your ex-boyfriend shows up causing trouble, chandler catching a shirt on fire, flowers missing and so on. But true love always prevails and the I Do’s are exchanged for a happy ever after. This was Awesome! I hope there is more to come!
I received this book for an honest review.
Fantastic read, highly recommended
I love the way the author draws you in to the world of Dragons and how the lead is a strong female that can handle herself. It’s very well written and flows beautifully and with ease. This is a book that I would highly recommend.
Fantastic! Hilarious and fun! I enjoyed this sequel full of troubles, doubts and love. With the upcoming wedding things are finally coming together yet forces from around them try to tear them apart. It was a fun read.
Jetta Mills is still a strong, take no bull, awesome frost dragon that can be emotionally vulnerable. What could be emotional than planning a wedding. With Conrad by her side they can get through anything. Right? I loved the little twists and surprises. I laughed several times even. After reading Betrayal Among the Frost, I still want to be a frost dragon. Or maybe a lava dragon like Conrad. Havenwood Falls has another great novella added to their collection and mine. Don’t miss the opportunity to read this gem
This is a great story of lies, love, manipulation and deceit. Malicious rumours, a wounded heart and a malicious father did not destroy Jetta, but rather made her into the strong, independent, sassy woman that Conrad fell in love with. On the verge of marriage, Jetta and Conrad face challenges and uncertainties and must discover just what is truth and what is lies. An entertaining story with great characters.
Jetta Mills is a force to be reckoned with. She doesn’t take any bull from anyone and I love it! Gah, I missed her spunk. I love her fierce and undeniable strength in living her life by her own rules. Yet, she shows us her vulnerability in feeling insecure about being worthy of who/what Conrad deserves. It was awesome to catch up with them both and I adore them together. However, Lawrence Mills is a tough one that’s for sure. Sometimes you just love to loathe a character and this meddling old man takes the cake.
I so love coming back to Havenwood Falls! It’s like a soap opera with all the romances, secrets, mysteries, and drama. I can’t wait to see what Amy Hale delivers next!
O.M.G
How much can someone take before they snap? Jetta’s limits were sure tested here. My heart hurt for her and Conrad.
It’s almost time for Jetta and Conrad to get married, but things just don’t seem to go as planned. First an old boyfriend shows up, then there are some wild rumors floating around. Old man Mills gets sick and a totally unexpected surprise shows up also. This was a great book! I laughed and cried and laughed some more. Jetta and Conrad are a great couple, and I just loved their wedding cake! 🙂
