A very well written book full of excitement, suspense, emotions, intrigue, surprises and so much more. She get taken by a bad group and then he comes along and saves her. They hit it off and not are on the run. I really enjoyed this and had a hard time putting it down. When the characters and story mesh well together it is an awesome read. I was given a review copy by booksprout and voluntarily review it.
The second book by this Author that I have read I found it to be well-written I will be looking for the next book in this series. Dragar and Beth’s story has suspense, drama, danger, and romance. I want to read the next book in this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I am loving this series! While Dragar is hunting for clues regarding an Ithyian slave ship, he spots a Serigali ship landed in an isolated area near a cabin. The woman he saw is in danger. Beth is intuitive, emotionally sensitive, and stays away from crowds as much as possible. The sensory overload is overwhelming. When she meets Dragar, however, she feels safe and trusts him.
The excitement and thrills begin quickly, and seldom slow down throughout the story. Be ready for a wild ride! As for romance, Beth and Dragar are a ‘slow burn,’ but once they get together, the heat is off the charts!
I read book 1 of this series and enjoyed it, so I jumped at the opportunity to review this book. Honey Phillips has written another great installment in the “Alien Abduction” series with a 3rd on the not-so-distant horizon. This one continues the story with different characters. While it is standalone, you’ll recognize some of the characters, locations and events if you’ve read book 1 as well.
Everything that I wrote in my review of book 1 still stands:
“Overall I thought this author did a great job with the story and I would recommend it to others. There is explicit sex, but it’s not overdone. Almost every emotion is part of this book and I enjoyed the full range of feelings.
I am definitely going to get the next book in the series. I was hoping that the character would receive his own book! This is definitely a series and an author to watch.”
I forgot to add in my review of book 1 but I’ll make sure to mention now that this author has a subtle sense of humor that provides some comical moments. There is a reference in this book to a pair of black high heels that had me laughing out loud. There’s a bunch of little lines that creep out at you, so don’t skip anything. It’s worth the time to read and it’s a pleasure being on this ARC team!

Interesting and evolving world, but…I have to agree with other reviewers about the plot being lost within the book, and too little storyline and too many smexy times. Other than Beth being a “sensitive”, it is not really fleshed out as to why she connected to Dragar. Dragar’s story didn’t really advance the plot of the “Sardorans being sabotaged”. Why was Beth being hunted? Kievan seemed interesting so will continue on to the next book. Hopefully the series plot will unfold more within it. The writing is done well, and the author does very well building this new world. While I read this via Kindle Unlimited, but I still think it worth your time and $$.
Enjoyed every minute of this book. <3
