Meet Julia and Ava. The next year will change their lives forever.
Sometimes revenge is the only choice. . .
Julia worked for weeks planning the perfect surprise birthday party for her boyfriend, Liam, but that night, she was the one who got the biggest shock. He broke up with her in front of all their friends, humiliating her in the process.
Clearly revenge was in order.
The plan is simple. … plan is simple. Make him jealous, win him back, and then crush his heart. Fair is fair. However, there is one little hiccup, and he has curly brown hair and dimples.
Jesse is everything she wants. With him, she could almost forget her bruised heart. Almost. Julia has one choice: let Liam walk away after everything he did, or lose a chance at love in pursuit of payback.

What’s a girl to do when your boyfriend embarrasses you in front of all you family and friends? First thought? Revenge! Julia is determined to get revenge for Liam embarrassing her but then meets Jesse. Should she give up this revenge idea and take a chance at happiness with Jesse or lose the love of a lifetime? Great read and I kept turning pages to find out what was going to happen. I enjoyed the story.

Liam was the first serious boyfriend Julia ever had. Breakups are usually hard, but theirs was epically bad and public. He showed up with a date to the party she planned for him, announcing himself as her ex.
She and Ava come up with a variety of revenge plans, but really, in the end, moving on was the best revenge for Julia.
Liam got his slimy tentacles into more than one heart along the way, and there may be more collateral damage even if Julia has luck moving on
Twisted romance revenge and discovery of the bumps and bruises all involved parties experience.

Jesse and Julia really take their time to get to know one another, they seem to communicate well and their attraction to one another is not an issue. I like Jesse, he is serious and patient about their relationship. Julia has some left-over ex drama, I am not convinced that she didn’t have any feelings for Liam though. At this point, Liam’s actions are not redeemable, as far as I am concerned and I am glad Julia moved on. I can relate to the emotion and wanting to get revenge, especially when in the heat and hurt of the moment. I don’t really agree with getting revenge though, it’s irrational (at my age) but these are young college-aged adults. This is definitely very entertaining though. Good book and pretty easy to read. I could see this happening a lot in high school or college.
Very light hearted read when you just want something easy. One of those nice books that you dont need to overthink to get the plot. Perfect to read before going to sleep.
Great book
