How well do you really know your best friend? Kat Grant and Alice Campbell have a friendship forged in shared confidences and long lunches lubricated by expensive wine. Though they’re very different women–the artsy socialite and the struggling suburbanite–they’re each other’s rocks. But even rocks crumble under pressure. Like when Kat’s financier husband, Howard, plunges to his death from the … death from the second-floor balcony of their South Florida mansion.
Howard was a jerk, a drunk, a bully and, police say, a murder victim. The questions begin piling up. Like why Kat has suddenly gone dark: no calls, no texts and no chance her wealthy family will let Alice see her. Why investigators are looking so hard in Alice’s direction. Who stands to get hurt next. And who is the cool liar–the masterful manipulator behind it all.

Friends or husbands? Who do women tell more truth? Give more allegiance? Margot Hunt shocks and astounds as she explores these tugs of loyalty in Best Friends Forever, a psychological thriller that kept me off balance even after turning the last page.
This is a very good book. With so many thrillers out there it’s hard to choose which ones to read sometimes! This stood out for sure. It’s entertaining and a suspenseful read.
Fantastic read!!! The surprise ending blew me away!!!
Lots of twists and turns to this classic who- done-it. Kind of predictable but an enjoyable read
Book had me hooked from the beginning. The ending was unexpected. I really enjoyed it
Very entertaining book. I enjoyed it immensely. It builds slowly until the surprising end.
i couldn’t put it down. it has a totally surprising ending.
An ending you won’t see coming! What a surprise!
Excellent. Never saw the ending coming, outstanding.
I really enjoyed this book and think it would make a great movie. Alice is accused of killing her best friend Cat’s husband. You learn about Alice and Cat’s friendship through flashbacks from Cat’s perspective. Alice has to figure out if her friendship with Cat is what she thinks it is. Then, in the end, when you think you’ve figured out who the heroes and villains are, there’s a twist. I’m still thinking about the twist a week later.
I don’t like weird story’s with sad or strange endings.
