Now an Amazon top 50 bestseller!I told a judge I was engaged to my best friend. Now we’re faking it.How hard can it be?My life has room for exactly two women: my daughter Rusty and my best friend Charlotte — known to everyone as Charlie. One is a feisty, tomboyish firecracker. The other is my seven-year-old. I can’t imagine life without either. So when my ex springs a custody hearing on me, I find … either.
So when my ex springs a custody hearing on me, I find myself telling the judge that I’m engaged to Charlie.
The only problem? I’m not.
Time to fake an engagement.
Pretending we’re a couple will be no big deal.
We’ve been friends for years. We used to sneak cigarettes behind the bleachers. We turned cans of hairspray into flamethrowers. We got drunk on stolen malt liquor.
She’s beautiful, vivacious, spontaneous, and she loves my daughter to death. It’s the perfect answer: we fake it for a few months, then go back to our lives.
Until we touch, and sparks fly. Until I can’t take my eyes off her. Until I can’t stop thinking about what she’s got on under her coveralls.
It takes one kiss.
One touch.
One shared secret and suddenly, I’m not pretending anymore. I want her, I need her in ways I didn’t know I could.
But there’s a lifetime of friendship between us, and falling in love with Charlie could mean risking everything.
Best Fake Fiance is a standalone romantic comedy that will make you laugh, cry, and probably fan yourself with your kindle.

Daniel and Charlotte were such a great couple. They already had a strong friendship and would do anything for one another. When it came clear that Daniel may lose permanent custody of his daughter Rusty in a panic he told the judge that he was engaged to Charlie(Charlotte). What makes this story fun is the fact that his family seem to know that the only people Daniel and Charlie are fooling about their growing feelings for one another are Daniel and Charlie. Everyone who finds out about their engagement all say its about time. Soon Daniel and Charlie are admitting that they love one another. This is a well written story. It has just the right amount of drama in the form of Rusty’s mom who wants full custody of Rusty and to move away with her new husband. The background story of Daniel and Charlie as friends getting into mischief since the age of 11 made for some great story. the chemistry was great, hot and steamy. I loved the way everything worked out for them and the HEA was perfect.

A fake engagement and friends to lovers. Daniel needs a fiance, and Charlotte is available in his desperation. They have been friends for years and the sparks are lit. Rusty is adorable and your heart breaks for her situation. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
A stunningly beautiful friends to lovers romance that has you wanting more straight from the beginning!
You will laugh, you will most certainly cry but most of all you will fall head over heals in love with Daniel’s and Charlie’s story! The foundation of their relationship started with friendship! No matter what life threw at them they were always there for one another! They were opposite in every way yet together they balanced each other out! But sometimes life isn’t always carefree! Their differences just might be what pulls them apart! Enjoy this amazing story as daniel and Charlie try to figure out just what the future might hold not only for them but for Daniels daughter Rusty as well!
A heartwarming best friends to lovers read. I enjoyed Daniel and Charlie journey to finding friendship than love, they balance each other and have great chemistry. This had great storyline, very likable character and the heat level I love in a good romance story. Definitely recommend for any one who loves this genre.
So Many “Perfect” Moments in this Story!!
So many parts of this story made me either laugh out loud, or sigh with emotion. The relationship of Best Friend is so very perfect. The attempt to pretend to be engaged is both a bit of a train wreck and the best thing ever.
The reader feels for both main characters and Daniel’s daughter Rusty is dynamite!! This is an amazing read; entertaining, heartwarming and everything you’d want in a romance!!

3 1/2*
Daniel & Charlie have been best friends for years and helped each other lots of times. Desperate to keep his daughter he tells the judge he’s engaged but who can he trust to help him & can he make it believable?
Charlie is surprised by Daniel’s request and has some stipulations of her own, will he accept the challenge?
The loveless family all have their brilliant, funny input.

Another great read in the Loveless Brothers series. This book revolves around Daniel, his daughter Rusty and his best friend Charlie. So yes, this is a single dad and friends to lovers romance from beginning to end. Roxie Noir has delivered this wonderful read that will make you laugh, cry, and experience all of the emotions in between as you follow the relationship between Daniel and Charlie, Daniel and his daughter, and then add in all of the other family members from both sides for one feel good read. I loved every minute of being apart of the Loveless family and can’t to see them all again in future reads.
Roxie Noir does it again!!! Loved this book great storyline was easy to get into and kept my interest all the way through and I can’t wait to read the next one!!
Everyone in town and the family is in on the secret but Daniel and Charlie. The secret being these two thick heads are in love and can’t seem to admit it to each other and themselves!! I have no words for Crystal!! It’s a waste of time just like her! I couldn’t believe how Charlie and Daniel turned on each other when an accident happened. I thought Charlie should have backed down b/c I think it was ultimately her fault for not checking things out better. Rusty was precocious and pushy as kids can be, but she’s still a child and needed direction and monitoring!! I think Charlie needed to wear a sign :Beware, klutz, forgetful, approach at your own peril !!! She’s like an accident waiting to happen! After two significant accidents involving Rusty, Charlie has the gall to act like a victim and martyr!!?? WTH?? Charlie’s heart was in the right place in the end, and I can forgive her transgressions like Daniel did. I loved Daniel hard. He’s perfect!!
I loved this book.
It was a beautiful and emotional story. I look forward to the next book in this series.
I definitely recommend this book, this series and this author.
Boy am I happy that another Loveless brother book has arrived! Daniel Loveless is the middle brother. He was as wild as his siblings until at 22 he found out that he was the father of a 9 month old daughter who was in Child Protective services due to lack of care from her mother. Daniel barely knew Rusty’s mom but on that day his life changed forever and he decided to get his act together. Now it is over 6 years later and his little girl Rusty is thriving and advanced for her years. Daniel is co-owner of a brewery with his younger brother Seth and has become a serious single parent. He is a strict rule follower and schedules are his life. The only constant in his life other than his family is his best friend Charlie aka Charlotte who has been part of his life since 6th grade. Charlie is not the typical 28 year old woman. She is an experienced carpenter and loves what she does. She isn’t one for organization, fancy clothes, schedules but she loves her friends, family and Daniel’s daughter fiercely. Rusty’s mother has also had some changes in her life. She is now married, expecting and now wants custody of her daughter even though she has had limited contact over the last 6 years. When Daniel hears this in court he decides to fight fire with fire and says that he is engaged as well. To Charlie! What starts out as a little white lie snowballs into a story of epic proportions. I love this family, the town of Sprucevale and its residents and the way that gossip like this spreads like wildfire. This was a great friends to lovers that is told from dual POV and gives a hint at which brother might be the center of the next story.
With Best Fake Fiance, Roxie Noir brings us another Loveless brother romance. I haven’t read the first in the series, but that isn’t necessary to fully enjoy this one.
I love a good friends to lovers romance, and Best Fake Fiance was just that. Daniel and Charlie’s friendship was such a solid foundation, and adding in the chemistry and romantic element made their relationship even more satisfying.
Daniel’s daughter Rusty was a delight, the camaraderie between the Loveless brothers was just awesome, and the humor was quite enjoyable.
I can’t wait for the next brothers’ stories. I’m not sure whose I want more at this point: Levi or Seth?

Wow–I liked book 1 of this series but this one was fantastic. I snort-laughed several times and got all the feels for all the relationships in the book. I’m really loving this family which makes for a great series. Ms. Noir gets better with every book. I received an early copy of this book for my honest opinion.
Daniel tells a white lie to the judge who is sitting on his custody hearing for access to his daughter Rusty, Charlie his best friend is the white lie. Great story and great characters.
I received a copy and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion
I enjoyed this book even more than the first story in the series. Daniel and Charlie balance each other off very well. Their long friendship has given them time to find out how to mesh and respect each other, even while being complete opposites.
This was an emotional ride for Daniel and Charlie! Best friends since they were teenagers, circumstances have them pretending to be engaged. Things start to heat up between them, and as the saying goes, where there is smoke, there is fire! Daniel’s daughter Rusty plays a big role in this story as do all the brothers. This is the second book in this series, and I can’t wait to see which brother we fall in love with next!
This book is captivating from the first page on and didn’t let me go until the end.
Both characters, Charlie and Daniel, are known from the previous book in this series and get in the focus in this book.
I loved their genuity and authenticity, their heartfelt warmth and mindfulness and everything in between…
This book made me laugh and frown, giggle and curse, smirk and… you get it. It has all the feels!
It’s intense and emotional, twisted and exciting, sensual and sizzling hot… all at the same time. It’s the purrrrfect read!
This is a best friends to lovers romance which is a trope I like a lot. Our best friends are Daniel and Charlotte, aka Charlie. Daniel’s in a bind and a little nervous so he tells a little lie…in court…to the judge…at his daughters custody/visitation hearing but it’s going to be ok because Charlie always has his back. She will do anything for Daniel and Rusty. This is no exception but,of course, things get complicated.
The writing is awesome, as usual for this author. All of the characters are real and easy to get to know. Daniel and Charlie had perfect chemistry and they have an easy way about them. They are completely adorable. One of my favorite couples ever. All the siblings and other side characters were so much fun. I really enjoyed them all.
Witty and sometimes heartfelt dialog helps tell the story of Daniel, Charlie, and Rusty. The plot wasn’t completely original but the author gave it her flair and added lots of laughter and love. I laughed out loud and even highlighted a couple of my favorite moments. The plot made sense and there were no glaring errors or typos.
This was another great book by this author. She is definitely someone everyone should know. I recommend this book and I think it would make a great end of summer read.
When Daniel is put into a bind at his child custody hearing he says that he is engaged to his best friend Charlotte. Love the story between the two of them and how Charlie is not perfect but loves Daniel and Rusty with all her heart. Their story pulls on your heartstrings and has you rooting for their happily ever after.
Favorite quote: Daniel to Charlie ~ “You’re the sun and I’m the moon,” he says slowly, carefully. “You shine and I reflect, and that’s how we always were. Without you I’m a dark, cold, dusty rock hurtling through space.”
