From the author of The Malykant Mysteries comes a darkly delicious tale of love, magic and fairytale adventure.

I really enjoyed the whimsical characters.
Loved this book.Great story.
Diana Wynne Jones would be right pleased with Bessie Bell, and so am I! Wonderful characters, though the plot was a little bit too driven by things that happened elsewhere or weren’t fully explained. Still a lovely read in a world I want more of!
I wasn’t sure about this book because it’s not my usual genre, but I have to say I enjoyed it! I would be interested in reading more of this author’s books.
What a great book! Loved the world and the characters.
Loved this book! I was swept away in the magical world and would love to meet a Goblin King of my own.
This was a great book and unpredictable. I really like the character Bessie. The ending did not turn out at all as I expected which was wonderful.
Wonderful characters that entice you to explore their depth. A continuous mystery from start to finish, with enjoyable dialogue and subplots. The illustrations are truly delightful and augment the narrative. It’s easy to see why this is one book of a series. An easy read that makes it hard to put down.
I loved this book. I wasn’t so sure at first that I would enjoy it but the characters were fun and generally likeable. It is strictly entertainment….something I often need lately
Written for young adults I think. But fun to read
Slow initially not engaged very quickly after that loved it
One of the most fun reads I have had in a while. Suitable for adults, but not porn. Strong female lead, interesting supporting cast, some romance, some treachery, better friends, nice and unpredictable. Will enjoy more from this author a d series!
I liked the main characters, and the story was different, about the human world and the goblin world.
I loved this one.
cute story with great illustrations
One of my favorite reads.
This is a fun book to read, very imaginative and entertaining.
Definitely intended for tween and teen readers.
It was at times confusing. It was always weird. It was original. The characters were fleshed out well enough. The story line was interesting, but the way it progressed was shaky. I’m not interested enough to read any sequels.
Keeps you guessing until the end
