Was OK.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a good story. The only thing keeping me from giving five stars is the fact that she couldn’t keep track of what time of day it was. I had to go back a few times to double check. I would definitely recommend this. It was a feel good read and I look forward to reading the others in the series.
Language too hard to get into
A great old fashioned fairytale with an independent and confident heroine.
My only complaint is it ended too soon.
Enjoyable story. Language and structure felt rather like it had been written in the early 1900s, and worked well. Predictable plot, but well written withbengaging characters.
I enjoyed this fantasy book. It reminded me that people aren’t always what they seem, a reputation isn’t necessarily earned and how servants especially
women, were at the mercy of who their masters. I would read another book by this author.
I found myself laughing out loud while reading this unusual fantasy. The book is so well written and characters are lovable. If you love fantasy and magic this book is for you.
definitely different
Loved this book!!!
A sort of Cinderella story. The heroine is spunky and easy to like. Plenty of minor characters to like. Limited actual violence. Emphasis on conflicted emotions. Very good proofreading.
I found the book entertaining. An easy read for those fans of the Elfin, Goblin and Fae worlds.
A quick easy read that would make a great series.
