Another good mystery with Miss May and Chelsea. Monster Mart is coming to town and nobody is happy about it except the developer. When he turns up dead everybody is a suspect. While the new Chief of Police determines his death as natural Miss May & Chels beg to differ. So they set out to solve the murder and lo and behold they find another body! Lots of interesting developments including a new love interest for Chels. Very entertaining!

This starts with a mini mystery with Chelsea and Miss May figuring out who the Post-it note bandit is at the Brown Cow. However, things turn ominous when a local developer that the town was picketing ends up dead in Miss May’s berry pie. The story is well written, and entertaining. They are funny and engaging. The characters become like old friends that you can’t wait to visit.

This series gets better with every book! This time a real estate mogul tries to make big changes to the small town, with dire results. The writing is top notch. The plot is tight and multi-layered and filled with believable, slightly zany characters. It was an enjoyable read and I’m looking forward to future installments. I received this book free and chose to make a voluntary, unbiased review.
The sleuthing team of Miss May, Chelsea, and Teeny come together to save the town. Just when it seems as if there isn’t any help for the town, the ladies face trouble head on. As always the ladies have tons of fun as they tackle any mystery big or small. This book is another great addition to the series and it will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Another Great Cozy Mystery!
The crime-solving sleuths are put to the test in this latest addition to the Apple Orchard Cozy Mystery series. Warm, friendly characters and intriguing storyline lead the trio on a merry chase filled with plenty of suspense, twists, a red herring, corruption, bribery, a family feud and sweet HEA. Enjoy!
I received an arc copy and am happy to leave my honest review.
This series doesn’t disappoint. This book was funny and entertaining, while having a good dose of suspense. I’m glad that Germany is in town and I hope that Chelsea gives him a chance.

This book is full of twists and turns. Unexpected parts in the story.
This series is a great one. I love the characters.

Chelsea may have shared a sweet slow dance with the detective – but then he disappeared for months on end to testify in a case in New York city. So that left the vicious Flanagan to be appointed Police Chief upon the retirement of the previous chief. And boy, that is one redhead who is more interested in stats that crime solving.
Chelsea might think her intrepid detective friend is helping her out behind the scenes, but is he?
He certainly did not turn out to be much of a communicator when he was abroad, and seems very vague and not committed now.
Germany Turtle, however, is a devoted admirer and wanna be beau – and tries to show his fondness and appreciation for Chelsea in sweet, yet awkward, ways.
Miss May ad Teeny seem to be on their usual streak of wreak have, prove friendship, and be quirky.
Aside from Miss May, and perhaps Teeny, the tiny horse See Saw and Germany Turtle seem to spend more time and effort with Chelsea than anyone else who is not trying to murder her.
Is there still a chance for Chelsea and her detective? What is up with that crazy mayor? And Germany Turtle – is he worth the awkward? He is cute, sweet, sincere, and makes himself present – unlike a certain detective.
Another wild and wacky small town murder / mystery adventure!

This is a great addition to a great series. There is humor and high jinx that make you want to keep reading. Keep the reads coming.

I enjoy this series, especially when Teeny joins Miss May and Chelsea. Kept me guessing right to the end. Also love the comic relief provided by the addition of Germany to the cast of players.

This book was just as fun and hilarious as the other three that I’ve read. I love when Chelsea, her aunt May and Teeny go sleuthing. The showdown with the killer was awesome, and Chelsea once more got to use her karate skills. The perp was definitely a surprise to me.
I’m always anxious to read the next book in this series. Teeny continues to crack me up! There’s an excerpt from book 5 at the end of this one!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book via BookSprout, and my opinions are my own.
A big developer wants to tear down a building on the main street to build a huge “Massive Mart”. Hank Rosenburg is the most hated man in town right now. The home town people call a town meeting, and it is held out at the Apple Orchard. Even the town Mayor is behind the “Massive Mart” for the town! Who is she kidding, help the town? No way! After everyone leaves, Chelsea and Miss May find Rosenburg’s briefcase. They go to take it to him and find him in his work trailer instead of home. He is dead with his face down in Miss May’s Berry Pie! Not only is this going on, but Chelsea and Detective Wayne have been separated for a while. He is a witness at some big trial. In steps Germany. He has his eyes on Chelsea and isn’t willing to give her up without a fight. Who is the killer? Whom will Chelsea choose? You will need to read the book to see. I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of this book.
A fun mystery. Who will win Chelsea’s heart? The handsome lawman, Wayne or the intriguing Germany. The characters in this story are great, a wide selection of crazy and nice.
The Apple Orchard series is one of my favorites, and Berried Alive is another hit. An unpopular developer dies face first in Aunt May’s Every Berry Pie and Chelsea, Aunt May and Teeny must solve the mystery. OK, they don’t have to, but of course they will, because they must exonerate their pie. And, you know, because they’re nosy. Aunt May is a force to be reckoned with, and wherever the three amigos go mayhem follows, which always makes for a fun read.

In this installment of Apple Orchard Cozy series starts off with a mini mystery! Who is behind the Post-it caper at the Brown Cow? But things soon take an ominous turn. Local business owners are up in arms about the developer who has come to Pine Grove with plans to open up a Massive Mart. When he is found face-down, murdered, in a berry pie, Chelsea and Miss May are ready to step in to help local law enforcement figure out what’s going on.
Who is behind the developer’s death? Will Chelsea pursue the relationship with her favorite detective? What about Germany Turtle, son of the victims is of the previous crime that Chelsea and Miss May helped with?
This was a light, fun read. The author has set up a quirky female amateur sleuth team in Chelsea and Miss May. As often happens in cozy mysteries, there is a lot of humor here, and it is well done. In this book, I particularly enjoyed the little moments with Germany Turtle. I am a massive Jane Austen fan, and Germany Turtle reminded me in his interesting mix of pomposity and servility of Mr. Collins. I like him better than Mr. Collins, though; Germany just comes across as very sweet and perhaps not comfortable than people. His speeches were rather humorous.
I found one glaring error in the book. The author called the Marianas Trench the Mariana Trench. As I have several friends who are named Mariana, this stuck out like a sore thumb to me. But still, I quite enjoyed this quirky cozy.
This book is as fun to read as the first three in this series.
I’m always anxious to read the next book. I hope it is a long series. I love these stories.

I really enjoyed this cozy. The characters were fun and quirky. I thought it was hilarious that there was a cat matching love story going on! Too cute!

While I enjoyed the mysteries set forth in this book, I found them overshadowed by the annoying characters. Also, the incidence that brings about the mystery was too stereotypical for me. The relationship between Miss May, Teeny and Chelsea seems at times almost snippy and sometimes overly silly. It was hard to take them seriously as “sleuths.” I guess overall I was expecting something more and this book just didn’t deliver for me.
Chelsea and Miss May find themselves once again involved in solving a murder mystery when a developer is found dead, face down in a plate of one of Miss May’s pies. With so many potential suspects, can these ladies find the killer before he strikes again?
This is everything you expect from a great cozy mystery; humor, madcap adventure, great storytelling, lovable characters, and a mystery to solve.

I enjoyed this as always I love this series, so a new developer in town wants to build a mega mart and everyone is not that happy about it, but who would kill for it not to happen?
