From Audrey Carlan, #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Calendar Girl series.Berlin, Germany. A gorgeous new client is looking for a few good men. It’s time for me to get my head back in the game. I’d love nothing more than to enjoy the times with Skyler and the guys, but I’ve got a business to run and we’ve just landed our most high-octane case ever in Berlin. Besides, who better to come … ever in Berlin. Besides, who better to come up with a cutting-edge advertising campaign than us? And since we’re International Guy, you can expect nothing less than for us to go full throttle for our client.
International Guy is used to life in the fast lane and this should be an easy ride, but this case is more than any of us bargained for and if we’re not careful, this job could rip us apart. If we’re going to make it through this case, we’re going to need to bring in reinforcements. Somewhere along the line, this team became my family and I won’t let anything come between us.

Audrey takes us on an exciting and surprising ride in Berlin. I love when the guys all get to work together on a case in the same city. Holy hotness. More of the team actually gets involved and it’s fantastic. They end up helping a woman that shakes up their IG family and hurts a couple they all truly care about. New friendships are strengthened and love grows by leaps and bounds. Someone has an amazing secret. You will also find out about some major heartbreak. Don’t get me started on the scary text messages that get bolder as we try to figure out who is sending them. This story is electric and enticing and keeps Audrey racing to the finish line ahead of the pack.
And we are off to Berlin… I loved having all the guys together again. And we even get Mick and Wendy out here working with this client. Which gives us some excellent backstory on the mysterious Mick! Then to top it off we get to meet Parker’s actual brother!
So, I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out who is behind the messages that Parker and Skyler have received… I have a suspicion and can’t wait to see if I am right!
So much goodness in this installment.
Parker and the guys are called to Berlin to help out Monika Schmidt’s campaign to sell cars around the world. With the help of Mick’s advertising company, Parker knows that this campaign will be be a hit. However there is a bit of a snag in Parker’s plan when he finds out that Monika and Mick share a shaky past, one that could put his relationship and friendship with Mick and Wendy on the line. Can Parker deliver what the client wants without jeopardizing his friendship? In the end the IG team once again knocks it out of the park thanks to Mick’s genius advertisement team and Roy, Bo and Parker’s FULL BODY involvement in the advertisement.
While dealing with the campaign dilemma Parker is overwhelmed and extremely happy to hear from his brother Paul whose been MIA while serving in the army. Paul reveals a secret that surprises Parker at first, but accepts full heartedly. Then there are the texts from the unknown stalker who keeps terrorizing Parker and Skyler. As they start to get more threatening and unsteady, Parker and Skyler fear for her safety. Berlin was full of surprises and acceptance. I love how friendships grew and strengthened and not allowing the past to dictate ones future. Berlin was definitely braving the ride.
~BRAVE THE RIDE~
Parker, Bo and Royce set off to Berlin to help a high end, hybrid car company with the launch of their new vehicles. The company has enlisted several advertising companies to write campaign’s and all fell flat. The boys know this case is going to take all their resources and contacts. Wendy is still not back to work full time but she and Mick are needed in Berlin.
Loved that we got to spend a little more time with Mick and learn more about him and Wendy as a couple. Audrey has done such a great job of bringing the secondary characters into the story. This is such a fun, easy read.
Another great installment of Parker and the gang.
Berlin is book 8. In this book International Guy is hired to help with a car marketing campaign. We learn a lot more of Mick’s past and watch as he becomes friends with the rest of the gang.
Wow…laugh out loud funny in most of the book, while tackling some serious issues. This book the guys travel to Berlin to help a sexy, blonde automotive executive. Parker calls in reinforcements from Wendy’s boyfriend Mick, his brother Paul and the boys get to show a little skin. GAH these books are incredible. The storyline in this book is unpredictable which makes it all the more fun to read. Way to go Audrey!
International Guy is on their way to Berlin to help OhM Motors with the advertising campaign for their new vehicle line. IG is gonna need some outside help from a friend to get through this one. We learn more about Mick, Wendy’s fiancé. I like him and the part he plays in Wendy’s life as well as what he brings to the story. Parker & Skylar are moving toward the future together but there’s trouble brewing for them. Something that could put their safety’s at risk. We also meet Parker’s brother, Paul. Family, blood & chosen, is everything to the guys of IG so I’m hoping we’ll see more of him in the future & what he adds to the storyline.
Loving this series. Another great one from Audrey. Want to get to the end so I can have the whole story but know I will be sad to leave these characters that I’ve come to know and love.
For the first time since book one the full compliment of International Guy are working together on site. Parker, Bo & Roy are off to Berlin to help with the launch of a series of eco cars. After seeing the concepts they have to work with, they realise that they’ll have to start from scratch so as they’re up against it time-wise they call in reinforcements in the shape of Wendy and her fiancé Michael. It turns out he owns one of the biggest advertising firms in the US. Little do they know there’s some bad history between Michael and Ulrika, the representative for car company.
This has got to be my favourite book in the series so far. The entire team working together on site with the added bonus of a huge helping of my favourite characters, Wendy and Michael. This group aren’t just friends and colleagues. They’re family and you can see this clearly. They might fight and argue amongst themselves but they are there for one another no matter what. Can’t wait for Washington.
“A man who stands for nothing will fall for anything.”
This book is full of discoveries, healing, past ghost and mystery. We learn about people’s past and what insecurities they have and why, divulging secrets and current struggles. It really gives insight into personalities of our favorite characters.
“Family’s there for the good, the bad, and the fugly.”
This book continues to show the strength of loyalty between friends, what really defines family and the continued growth in many relationships. The humor, friendship and love continues to grow in Berlin.
This book exposes fears, hopes, dreams and obstacles in our International Guys (and women)… I’m thinking some intense discoveries will be made in WASHINGTON, DC: INTERNATIONAL GUY BOOK 9. I’m looking forward to how the mystery gets exposed and hopefully how it brings some relationships closer together.
‘Brave The Ride’
Wow what an interesting story. The IG men head to Berlin to help a motor company with an advertising issue. Needless to say what they agree upon creating, is nothing if not perfect. Parker has to enlist help from Wendy’s fiance Michael and oh boy do things get very interesting. Seriously creative genuises at work
The Berlin trip is funny, entertaining and you really get a sense of the bond of family the IG men and friends have. Parker always has such profound words and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
There is also an element of suspense kind of behind the scenes and it’s racking my brain as to who it may be but isnt that the beauty of reading a story where you are so intrigued you are just chomping at the bit to find things out???
