Chicago has never been more fun, or dangerous … behind a desk, August Rivera hopes a trip to the windy city for an assignment will make the magazine finally give her a spread. But getting to see her best friend, well, that’s just a bonus.
And then she sees him from across a club.
With a gang causing trouble for the Outfit, and a Capo’s crew in shambles, Beni has a million other things to focus on except the beautiful New Yorker who keeps finding her way into his bed. The thing is, when he’s with August, everything is better—easier.
Falling in love while handling family drama and mafia affairs is anything but simple … and in this business? It only takes a single mistake to lose it all.
That lesson can’t be taught, and it always comes too late.

NOTE: Beni is a standalone novel within The Guzzi Legacy series. It can be read as such.

5 BENI Stars!
I’m not surprised that BK has done it again. Beni is another Guzzi that I’ve fallen in love with. Kinda hard not to when his DNA comes from Gian & Cara 🙂 I thought Bene would be fun but Beni is all that and more! He’s mafia royalty but still willing to put in the work for the respect he wanted. August isn’t so bad either. She’s confident, driven and passionate about her career. I love their banter and chemistry.
Didn’t realize how much I missed the Chicago crew until Beni but I LOVED the cameos and getting a glimpse of the Rossi and Guzzi families. Can’t wait for the next book in the series!
Bethany-Kris brings us Beni Guzzi in this standalone book in the Guzzi Legacy Series. Beni and Bene are the youngest twins of Cara and Gian Guzzi. I love this book so hard.
BK never fails to have me so captivated that I can’t help but devour her books in one sitting. I was hooked from the very beginning. The chemistry between August and Beni was off the charts! He is probably my fave Guzzi brother so far. There is something about his character that will have you swooning.
Bethany-Kris’ ability to have me hook, line and sinker never fails. She has a way to grab at my heartstrings and keep her readers entertained to the very end. Five stars for this phenomenal book!
Beni and Bene are literal mirrors of each other, they could communicate in their own language, they knew each other’s secrets. Their father has decided they have had enough time to correct their wild ways, and having someone there to catch the mistakes is the reason it continues, so he’s going to send them away to Chicago to be mentored by their Uncle.
There was something about Beni, normally her hook-ups were done at her place, they didn’t last as long, but with Beni she wasn’t bothered. She quickly learned there was tension between Beni and Bene, although she was some of the reason, she knew that she wasn’t all of it. She wasn’t going to let it bother her she was there just to move up in her job, that was her focus no one was going to stop it.
Beni couldn’t help but thing of August and how confident she was, the kind of woman he wanted by his side. He knew August was a woman to be appreciated and admired and he was going to show her how much. He’d found his match and he wasn’t going to let her go.
