Are you ready to fall in love with the villain?I’m the guy you love to hate.In every story in my life, I seem to end up playing the villain—and I’ve got the scars to prove it.That role works fine for me, because I’m sure as hell not anyone’s hero.I run my life … for me, because I’m sure as hell not anyone’s hero.
I run my life and my empire with an iron fist—until she knocks my tightly controlled world off its axis.
She’s nobody’s damsel in distress, but I can’t help but want to save her anyway.
I guess we’re about to find out if there’s a hero buried beneath these scars.

Another amazing story from Meghan March! If you’re reading this – Meghan – please never stop writing!!!!!! I was positively shocked by the intensity of Titan’s and Yve’s relationship. They just stormed in with so much rage and passion all over my predictions and right into my heart. I’ve read only four books of the series so far but those two are definitely my favorite couple. The story had me on the edge the whole time. The constant shadow of Yve’s past threatening their present and future together – and her life. When the walls finally fell, I may or may not have had to blink through some tears myself. And yes, I did google that vintage “Cinderella” dress after I was done reading 😛
Lucas Titan and Yve’s story.
While in the previous books, Titan was a character I disliked tremendously, in this book, I found that Eve was so annoying and so she subsequently took over that feeling. Disaster it seems is something she call upon herself on a continuous basis.
I love her characters and her stories. She has a way with words. Strong, smart, sexy heroine pairs with an amazing rich, gorgeous 100% alpha male. With appearances from previous characters we love.
Amazing
LUCAS FREAKING TITAN….(sigh)..
Why do we we fall in love with those all alpha….jerks?? I don’t know, either, but I do it nearly every time…This isn’t the first time we have been introduced to Lucas Titan……but this is his book….and it’s a good one…
Truthfully, I fell in love with Lucas Titan with his first scene in this book…He’s in the ring with Con…(At a charity auction, he bid a million dollars for a boxing training session) and Lucas is fighting dirty…typical Lucas Freaking Titan!! I love him….He’s smoking hot…
So, Lucas sees and wants Elle’s friend, Yve…..Lucas and Yve have, both, been through a lot in their personal lives…She has an vindictive and. abusive ex husband who was just paroled, and she was lucky to survive him once…Plus, Yve was raised by a mother who was a mistress of Yve’s former father in law among others…..and that’s what she’s been trained for…so, Yve is sensitive to letting any man give her anything…
Lucas is richer from LOTS of hard work…He was raised by an emotionally and verbally abusive father who was killed in an accident, and Lucas still carries guilt…because he was there….
Obviously, at first, Lucas just wants to sleep with her, but the more he gets to know her, her story, her strengths, her weaknesses….he falls ..Can they, both, move forward, or do they just have too much baggage?? Like I said…it’s a good book…
Lucas. Freakin’. Titan. I didn’t know how I could love him, but then Meghan shocked the hell out of me and I fell HARD. One of my favorite books in the Beneath series, I absolutely loved it!
This is the 4th book in Meghan March’s “Beneath” series, and I loved it! I enjoyed all the books, but this one really touched me. Both Lucas and Yve close themselves off from closeness; they’ve been treated harshly in their lives and don’t trust and don’t want to be vulnerable. How they get past that to a happy relationship is an intriguing and beautiful story. Thank you, Ms March, for the ride. Can’t wait for the next book in the series.

“He made tall, dark and handsome his bitch”
Yes yes you did Mr. Titan…
I was so excited for this book to come out and Megan March did not disappoint it was freaking phenomenal!!!!
I hated Lucas in Beneath this ink… ugh I just wanted him to disappear .. but not I cant hate him anymore.. it just took the right woman to make him act right!!
Now I want my own Lucas Titan!
Cant wait for the next book in this series!!!
Loved this book!
Lucas Titan is over-the-top alpha. I’ve is a woman with a backbone and is not putting up with him. There is so much push and pull in thebdynamics between these two and is all about defensiveness and self-preservation. But the sparks are flying!
She has a traumatic past who seems to have returned, front and center. And where does she find herself? Repeatedly? At the home of, and In the arms of Titan! The tug of war continues but he keeps asking her “Do you ever accept help?” He is no white knight but her seems to be hers.
He’s got his own personal struggles. Riding to the top of a financial empire following the death of his father. Thevrelationship with his father was a damaging one to his spirit. He lets no one in. Jerome is in and has earned his way there. Yve has wormed her way in and he can’t shaje her; doesn’t want to.
As their scars heal and hearts open wide, danger may take them both down.
I was annoyed at times with Titan because I saw her folding into herself. I wanted to yell at him to stop being a selfish sh!t but it seems he was the answer to his own question. She would accept help, albeit begrudgingly, from him.
Another good book in this series!
