The Staran is now healed and the Wardens are resting from their battle. Macey makes the decision to return home explaining to Amber and Izban that the house grew to accommodate as many as it needs too. Macey also looked forward to the pool, she needed to get into the water for a while to recharge.
Some pretty humorous things take place what with Cam cooking, but also comes the realization they still need to know more about what they have to accomplish. A visit to Malan gives some insight and sends them on their way but not before warning Macey to get control of her powers.
The earth is being poisoned and an evil portrayal of an Orca is threating the sea creatures. Several interesting ways to travel and curious creatures are met even as they seek to stop the evil from destroying everything.
I am truly enjoying theses books filled with magic, surprises, battles and of course sizzling heat.
5 Contented Purrs for Laura and Skye!
I’ve read a lot of books written by Laura Greenwood; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is part of the Seven Wardens Series; the story continues from the previous books. Macey is still recovering from her kidnapping.

Warning: Book has a cliffhanger ending. I know some don’t like those.
This book has nonstop action and adventure. I am really liking the Wardens and their race to combat evil and save the world. There is danger and drama, old friends and new faces, humor and fun, and RH sexy times. There is also that OH WOW cliffhanger, so you need to be ready to get book 4.

The characters have even more situations and issues to deal with, along with more characters added to the mix. The mythology snippets add a lot to the story. Loved the banter and sass the group has going on while trying to figure out what to do next. Not all of the suggestions from others are good ones but the seven are now forming a tighter bond to get back to the basics. Powers have been restored for now.

Macey and her group are still recovering from the events of the last book but this does not last long as more danger rapidly approaches.
The seven wardens are busy trying to save the earth, Macey makes a new friend and meets some different races and learns more about her guys.
Although the storyline is serious with evil threatening magical beings around the world, there is some laugh out loud moments. The cliffhanger ending creates intense concern and the urgent need to start the next book.
Still a well written plot with a vivid world building and characters I can sense and really get into!
‘Beneath the Earth’ is the fourth book in Laura Greenwood and Skye MacKinnon’s “Seven Wardens” series and it truly does not disappoint. The plot continues to thicken, the humor is amped up, the intrigue kept me turning the pages. This is an intriguing, humorous storyline filled with drama, adventure, humor, and Scottish mythology. I’m looking forward to ‘Within the Flames’.
This addition to the Seven Wardens Series begins with Macey dreaming about waffles. Yum! She is rudely awakened by one of her men complaining about her drooling on him. She does not want to have to fight anymore. All she wants to do is sleep and lounge around but that is not going to happen so she gets up and goes to the pool where she loses control of her magic. After a few problems are taken care of at the house, all the Wardens travel to see Malan the prophet and so the adventures begin one after the other. This story is chock full of action, romance, and steam, and ends in a cliffhanger. Highly recommended.

Macey and group are tasked to put out several fires in this go round. The group is split into 2 and sent to check into weird goings on. Jared and Macey go under earth to check there and meet up with Kabouters, and Kluddes. The Kluddes help Macey find the right path to follow and they end up in the middle of the sea. The group meets up in the middle of the sea and it turns into a group effort to take down the Orca… the selkies allow them to stay overnight to rest and while there they learn that Ronan’s “skin” was stolen years ago. Macey blackmails Izban to do a locator spell and they find Ronan’s skin. Ronan goes to retrieve his “skin” but runs into some trouble, so Macey decides to get it for him while he’s distracting from it. She grabs it sneaks out and off they go. They are off onto the next step in saving/fixing the Staran.
They gather allies for their next step, and they are a bit disappointed but they do gather some allies. They’ve decided to take on The Voice. While gathering everyone something happens to Flint and it causes him to lose his magic/fire! So now Macey needs to take a side trip to fix this before they take on The Voice.

The third book has the wardens looking for the evil, one in the sea and one on earth both causing havoc. We find out Ronin has lost his seal skin so cannot shift and we meet my favourite characters the Kabouters. I will not say what they are but I want one! The ending ends in a really big cliffhanger. Now I have to read the next book to find out what happens.

Captivated my attention instantly, leaving me no other choice but to devour in one sitting… I simply loved this story and cannot wait to see what comes next in this series…
Macy and her guys are recovering from the events in book 2 but there’s never any rest when evil is about. The world or really worlds building is becoming truly vivid. The conversations were hilarious. I couldn’t believe Macy added another man to her harem. Plenty of adventure, fighting evil and saving magical creatures. I couldn’t believe the ending, intense. I’ve already started book 4. Each book seems to be getting better and better.

This is book three of the Seven Wardens series and sees the group split up to carry out different tasks. Two stay behind at the house in the mists to look for clues in the library, whilst another pair go to see the couple who took Jared in and taught him so much about his earth magic. The remaining three go to the sea to fight the giant orca that has been attacking the selkie population. They know they aren’t ready to take out the Voice, or Mahoun and hope to find out what is happening to Earth, what strange occurrences the supernatural beings can report to them. Jared and Macey end up meeting another group of beings, often thought of as tricksters, but speak to one known as the teacher and through their magical stones, is able to show her several of her possible paths to take in the near future, plus show her some disturbing paths and some joyful ones far into the future. Which path she decides upon could either kill them all, or allow them to survive and take down the Mahoun.
One vision shows the other men in trouble on the sea, so Macey calls upon the Staran and leaps to help them. Ronan’s kelpies are a great help in herding the giant orca, which is in fact part of this evil black substance that was making the Staran misfunction and not a real mammal, to the surface, where they can all use their magic on it. After they defeat the orca, Macey gets a tad jealous, when a high ranking female selkie called Cora, tries to get Ronan to go off with her and won’t leave him alone! Ronan is special in his village as being the only one with magical abilities, other than the selkies ability to shift forms. But someone stole his pelt a year ago and he has been unable to shift since. Macey comes up with a plan, requiring Izban’s reluctant assistance to find the stolen item and they all leave as quickly as possible afterwards. They need more allies to help them fight the Mahoun and so they go off to meet the races they have come across as well as their own, to gain allies for the fight ahead and all meet at Malan’s home. Some of the visits gain them some allies, but others refuse to help. Flint comes back injured, after something drastic happened to him and is now incredibly vulnerable in what they may have to do next! They will need the full strength of all seven wardens with the fight to come, so must figure out a way to help Flint and quickly. I received an ARC copy of this book and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
This is a great story in the Seven Wardens series. I have really enjoyed this series so far and hope that it continues on this path. I couldn’t put it down. I have been caught up in the action since the beginning. I love the interactions between Macey and her men- Flint, Cam, Jared and Ronan. Macey is still being denied her waffles but the adventures still continue. The Wardens can’t seem to catch a break. After destroying an evil being, they would have earn a break but the next mission has popped up. There are more enemies that they need to destroy to save the world. They need to get help from the other supernatural beings to destroy Mahoun aka the Voice. What will happen next for Macey and the others?

Beneath the Earth is the third book in the Seven Wardens series and picks up right where book two left off. You shouldn’t read this book without reading the first two. It is not a standalone story. Macey and the rest of the Wardens story is an ongoing story arc. This review is written assuming you have read the first two books so it may contain spoilers if you haven’t read them.
Macey now knows the truth other parentage and the group of Warden’s have defeated one of the entities that’s damaging the Starans. They’re trying to solidify their bonds as the seven wardens and defeat the evil that is trying to destroy the worlds. Together they start to plan how they will right all that is wrong. Steamy and entertaining paranormal reverse harem. The story isn’t complete and will continue into the next book.

I loved this third story in the ‘Seven Wardens’ series. Macey and her crew are trying to overcome the events of the last book while new danger and excitement lies in the wait. I love Macey and her guys. Their connection is stellar and their love is romantic and sweet. This book was adventurous like all of the previous books and funny at times as well. I love the way these two authors come up with this magical world and make it so fun and addicting to read about. I’m in love with Macey and her crew’s stories and I can’t wait to get to the next book. I’m so excited to read more about them!

The world is still not safe as the Seven Wardens recover from their last adventure and they must find a way to beat the Big Bad. I loved this story and the new characters we met along the way. I am starting the next book right now!

Solve one problem, another one crops up. No rest for our heroes and heroine.
This is book three of the series, but it still works pretty well as a standalone. All the essential bits are covered early on, although that may not last for much longer.
This is a paranormal romance story with a reverse harem theme and a dose of Scottish folklore thrown in for good measure. The story is well written and easy to read as I would expect. The characters and setting are also well developed and quite intriguing, almost as much fun as the plot itself. I particularly liked the Scottish elements seeded throughout. Speaking of the plot, it is a good one including plenty of mystery, twists and turns to keep things interesting. All together, this made for a fantastic read and I look forward to reading the next book of the series.
Highly recommended.

This is the third part and it is very exciting again! The seven guards are busy saving Earth, with Macey making a new friend. She meets different races and learns more about her boys.
I like all the mythical creatures in the story, it makes it even more interesting with the well written plot line. With humor and sense, romance and steam mixed with the action-adventure and danger, it’s a fantastic book to read and I can’t wait for the next one.
