Oh, my! My mind dwelt on this book for several days after finishing it. Nathan and Daria worked as missionaries in a primitive location in Colombia. Dr Nathan disappears while trying to treat a neighboring tribe of an epidemic sweeping through their village. The story builds from there. This book will impact your life!! Can’t recommend highly enough. Clean read.

Deb Raney never disappoints and this book is no exception!!
This book held my interest and characters were realistic and very human. Story took unexpected twists.
A good read.
Another great story by Deborah Raney. She tackles the hard life situations that are faced by Christian women, and shows us how to choose the right path through a spiritual minefield. While entertaining us with a good story, she demonstrates how prayer, good counsel, and trusting God can help us find God’s will for our lives.
Beneath a Southern Sky is one of the best books I’ve read in a long time , loved it.
The love of God and for God can help us do the right thing even though it might be the hardest thing we’ve ever done.
This heartfelt story dives into what God can do to redeem a tragic situation. I found the characters to be unforgettable and rushed to read the sequel “After the Rains” which I can’t put down.
Such a profound story of sacrificial love
The characters are well developed and as the story unfolds major decisions are easy to figure out since you understand the characters well. I recommend this read.
Not a good book to read at night to put you to sleep. Hard to put down.
This was a good book – very inspirational & an unexpected twist/ending.
Beneath a Southern Sky is a good read and keeps you interested to the end.
One of the best books I have read lately
An inspirational beautiful heart warming book that made me wonder what Daria should do. Perfect ending!
This was a wonderful, thought provoking book with a bitter-sweet ending. It’s a story that will stay with me forever.
Very heart wrenching and beautiful at the same time – an excruciating journey for the characters. I wept for them all over and over.
I enjoyed this book with all of the crooks and turns that happened plus it is a Christian book including all of the errors we make in life, but show God’s love and forgiveness!
