VERY CONFUSING BOOK
Beautifully written and haunting in both plot and emotions.
This story is compelling and full of interesting turns with hints of historical truths embedded into the narrative.
Beyond my imagination but realistic in a twisted sort of way.
Beloved is one of Toni Morrison’s most popular novels. The story is based on actual events which makes the novel all the more compelling. If the subject of slavery is uncomfortable for you – don’t read this book.
Morrison’s writing can be so beautiful it almost reads like poetry but she may also spend three pages describing grass.
