Wow! I Love this series and this one is the very best yet! We find out do much more in this book about Addison and her family. This book was so good and the as her powers grow and the mystery comes into focus there is surprises and makes you Wonder where this will lead Addison and those she loves.
In the fourth book in the series, Addison finds herself at the heart of another mystery from the past. This time it’s the death of a young girl in a hit and run. The heart of the mystery is Belle Manor, which hides plenty of secrets, including the identity of the killer.
This investigation holds more surprises as Addison discovers the history of her own family, especially the psychic powers that pass down the female line. She has to choose whether to embrace what history has ordained or walk away as her mother did. Her decision could have a profound effect on her husband and family.
The personal dilemma lifts the story to make it the most intriguing and satisfying book of the series so far. With conflict and pressure on all sides, Addison has to decide her future while solving a complex murder mystery.
It’s a fascinating story that begs a fifth book.
I read this book first, so I was out of order, but that didn’t matter. Addison is a lovable character and her love interest is such a caring guy! After reading this, I immediately purchased the other books in this series. I find the way that Cheryl writes to be engaging. I have trouble sleeping sometimes at night and found myself up at 2 – 3am reading her books just to get through. I honestly think that I woke up because I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next! Highly recommend.
It’s a clever weaving of paranormal ability with solving a murder, embellished with extra twists. I thoroughly enjoyed the story.
Book four of the Addison Lockhurst ghost mystery series. When a child ghost seeks help from Addison after the birth of her child. Life as she knew it changes. Once you start reading hang on for the ride. This isn’t your average ghost story. I really liked it and you will not guess the conclusion.
An unexpectedly atractive book. I would not have expected to open this kind of book.
I like the book
Intriguing!!!
One thing I liked about this book is the author didn’t have a lot of spelling and grammatical errors. One thing I think every author should do is proof read each chapter as they finish it before going on to the next as I really lose a lot of respect for the author when they make a lot of mistakes. The story line was very good and original. The final thing that I was very pleased with was the fact that it wasn’t one of those books where when you finish it, you don’t have an ending. The author didn’t use this book to try and force you into buying another book. Those are the authors that I don’t follow.
Loved all four Of her series. Hope there will be more to follow.

This is book # 4 in the Addison Lockhart
Mysteries series. It can be read as a stand alone.
A powerful read.
First of all Cheryl Bradshaw blows me away with what ever she writes… but wow! The Paranormal intrigues me… and this had me saying wow through the entire book.
Addison Lockhart has again investigated and solve another paranormal mystery. she has so many wow moments in this book and it has put her on a new road with her abilities. I can’t tell to much I don’t want to destroy the suspense but again WOW!!! I can not wait for the next book.
Excellent book 4 in this series. Addison Lockhart is such an interesting protagonist and this book delves much more deeply into the facets of her personality, her paranormal gifts and her past. Some of these things aren’t understood even by Addison in the beginning of the book. In her own uniquely gifted way, the author leads the reader carefully down a skillfully created path, through a story that is not to be missed.
Addison is excited to become a mother, but when she meets a woman in the grocery store that helps her when her water breaks, she finds out that she was a ghost. That is only the beginning of things that start happening to Addison after the birth of her baby. A five-year-old girl wanders into her hospital room and she is a ghost. That starts Addison off into finding out what happened to Sara and what is happening behind the walls of Belle Manor. The lady in the store comes back and there is more mystery she knows about Addison… and it isn’t what she was expecting! I truly enjoyed this complex, darker than her normal story for Cheryl Bradshaw. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
This book has Addison (the Protagonist) learning more and more about herself and her family history. She learns some things that are life altering. More secrets than she ever thought possible. The current mystery she is called upon to help solve, (which she didn’t really need in her life at the moment,) causes her to ask more questions than she is getting answers to. For every answer she gets, two more questions pop up. This particular book in the series, gives us a more ‘real’ Addison even as she gains more and more power with her supernatural abilities. It has a heavier feel to it as Addison’s emotions are a little more tiresome. This is an intriguing story that is easy to read and keeps your attention. You don’t necessarily need to read the previous books in the series to follow this one, but you will have a better perspective of the characters if you do. It’s a well written story. This is a clean read (no sexual content.) No blood or gore and no real violence. (One small scene with a gunshot.)
*I received an ARC of this book.
Bradshaw’s writing is superb. Her characters seem real. She makes them come to life, they’re 3 dimensional not just one.
Very poor writing, I had to stop at 8%. Seems like an outline was made for the story, and the rest was just fill in.
It starts out with a couple of good (although standard) ‘gotcha’ moments, then quickly becomes lackluster again as if the author was bored.
The author puts each of the characters in a position that the reader can vividly see the character and experience what they’re saying. It’s well written and I read it in just a couple of hours, but I’m waiting for the continuation.
Great book!!
All of her books are well written, and make for enjoyable reads.
