LostAll my life, it seems, I’ve made mistakes. Once, I lost everything. Failure seems to follow me around.I didn’t spot what a snake Snake was—he had planned a mutiny right under my nose. Yeah, he did well when he appointed me as his VP. I followed him blindly, never suspecting a thing. Now Snake is dead and I’m the prez. I still spend my days doubting myself, but I’ve got the whole MC depending … got the whole MC depending on me. If I get it wrong, it won’t just be me who goes down.
Then I meet her, a woman who needs me to keep her safe. I should warn her to stay far away, tell her I’m not a man she should lean on. I’m not a person to trust when I don’t have faith in myself.
Patsy
Choices, always choices. I thought I did right when I left everything behind to make a new life, choosing which of my two adult children now needed me the most.
We should have been safe in our new life—nobody knew who we were.
But we’ve been found.
Luckily, before danger strikes, the Satan’s Devils ride up to our door.
I’m no spring chicken. I’m not looking for a man in my life. But I need protection, I need help. It’s time to make a stand and not run anymore.
There’s only one man I can depend on to keep us safe. The trouble is, he’s Lost.

I am always excited to get a Manda Mellett MC novel, but this was a nice and new exciting chapter that we get to focus on. Belong Lost is the first of the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego chapter. I love the scenery change and that this one dove head first into the big guy, the president of the chapter, Lost. He is currently looking out for a family as asked by another chapter, but he takes it a bit less serious until drama and danger comes knocking and things are kicked into high gear. The woman of the family, Patsy is just the right mix of confidence and sass that she can hold her own with Lost and the sparks are hard to miss between the two. The road to a happily ever after isn’t necessarily easy but is so worth it in the end. I look forward to seeing what else we get with this chapter!
Being Lost (Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1) by Manda Mellett. I LOVE Manda Mellett so much. She has become one of my favorite authors and this series is amazing. This is the story of Lost who is an older man who has been on the wrong end of luck most of his life. He is the VP of their branch of the Satan’s Devil’s Motorcycle Club until the president ends up dead and he’s moved up. Lost has no faith in himself but he knows that the whole club is counting on him to come thru for them. When they are asked by the Tuscon Chapter to look after a woman and her son things take a turn. Patsy has had a hard life but she has always tried to do what’s right for her adult children but when she has to choose to leave one behind to protect the other it tears her up. She moves to San Diego with her son and tries to lay low but when she sees Lost she is smitten. Thinking they are safe and knowing Lost is looking out for them she lets her guard down and that’s when they are found! Will Lost surprise himself and take care of the Club and Patsy. Will Patsy let her wall down and fall for Lost? Read Being Lost to find out!
In Manda Mellett’s Being Lost, we are introduced to the San Diego chapter of her Satan’s Devils MC. Other chapters of the MC – Colorado and Arizona – are already well established in Mellett’s books and San Diego has been mentioned before so it is exciting to get to know it properly!
Lost has made mistakes and trusted the wrong people, and suffered for it. He is still suffering, and worried about what the future could hold for him and the San Diego chapter. But this fear feeds a determination to do the right thing, and a carefulness about where he places his trust. He’s got a good team around him and is willing to work hard.
This story has plenty of tension and action in it. It’s a real page turner! But this doesn’t take away from the romantic story. It’s great to have an older couple as romantic leads, particularly with both of them dealing with the pain they have suffered in the past.
You can absolutely jump in at this story if you haven’t read the others. Mellett gives the reader all the backstory they need to understand what’s going on. That said, the story leads on from the events of Ink’s Devil, the 5th book in the Colorado Chapter series. And if you’re going to read that, you might want the backstory in Devil’s Dilemma at which point you may as well read the whole Colorado Chapter series, and the original Satan’s Devils series, because why not? They’re great books.
For me, this is a five star book. A great addition to a great series – I’m looking forward to reading more from the San Diego chapter!
Being Lost (Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1) by Manda Mellett was a great 5 star read.
I was pulled in right from the beginning.
It was great getting to see the San Diego chapter. Lost is the prez of this chapter. When another chapter reaches out to them to keep an eye on a mother and her son things take an interesting twist. When Lost meets Patsy there is an instant something between them.
Patsy made some hard choices when she decided to move with her son. She is missing her daughter but knows that she made the right move. When she meets Lost she finds herself very attracted to him. When they finally got together it was great, they are perfect for each other.
Will Lost and the MC be able to keep them safe? Will Patsy and Lost get a HEA?
Overall this was a great read. This is an older group of characters but they pull you in just as much. I really liked all of the characters, they all added a great element to the story. Manda does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. I really enjoyed getting to know this chapter and look forward to reading more from them. 1-click and get started today.
What am I to say about Satan’s Devils? I love Manda Mellett’s other two series about Satan’s Devils. I feel I am with the characters while reading the books. The emotions, adrenaline, and the sadness are sp descriptive which makes it easy to follow along the characters. As for the story, there is some mystery and some romance. It is not your typical romance, there is action and adventure with the romance. I have to admit in the opening of the San Diego chapter, I found that I need Lost. He is trying to keep everything together even if things are coming forward that questions his leadership. Then there is Patsy. She is in a bit of trouble and needs someone to help protect her from her past. Will Lost be able to help Patsy? Will Patsy stop running? I highly recommend the Satan’s Devils series.
Being Lost by Manda Mellett a five-star read that will find you. This is number one in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego series and what a start to this amazing series I can’t wait to hear more from this chapter as they have come through the flames and are now rising from the ashes. Normally I’m not one to picture the person on the cover as the character I am reading about, but this was so close I couldn’t help myself, I normally like to imagine my own mental picture as I read, but yummy what a silver fox Lost is. It was so nice seeing an slightly older couple as the main characters, they like the chapter have come through the fire and are making the most of the life they have, even if its not what the want or need just yet. These characters are just sublime, and once again show what a great writer Manda Mellett really is, I have yet to find a story that I haven’t devoured.
Not only do I love Manda Mellett’s books but I love book with an older couple and she gave me both. I completely fell in love with this couple. Miss Mellett brings some of the BEST MC stories and I cannot get enough of them!
I loved Patsy and Lost. Both of them went through immense struggles but Lost always made sure Patsy was taken care of and she wouldn’t lose more.
I love seeing the San Diego chapter of this MC crew. Each series has always hooked me and I cannot wait for more from the San Diego series!!
Being Lost (Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1)
By Manda Mellett
5 stars
Oohh another new spin off series from the MC queen Ms Mellett!! This was as I expected another wonderful 5 star read! The authors’ writing for this story was so smooth and effortless – it was a real pleasure to read. I loved the age of the characters too, it’s nice to read stories about a variety of characters and I loved Patsy and Lost – they were really great characters to read about. I really enjoyed the slower pace to this story, its different to what we usually get form this author but 100% perfect for these characters!! I am really excited to read more from the San Diego MC!!
Being Lost: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1 by Manda Mellett. As I’ve come to know this author hits it out of the park once again. Since finding this incredible author I’ve never been disappointed. Each story grabbed me from start to finish and this story was no different in that way. These characters are complex and relatable, you can’t help but root for them and feel a connection with each ones story to be told. This story had me reading well into the night because I couldn’t put it down. This author knows how to write an MC story that you can get lost in and not want to find a way out of. The characters each bring something unique to the storyline and each one is well developed. The storyline draws you in with it’s perfect pace and well written ideas. I’m excited to see where this author takes readers next. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!
Ml back to the world of MC and this time reading about Lost. Within the first chapter am hooked. Meeting back up with Dart. Reaching back into the past and meeting up with previously mention people makes it feel like you are home again. I would highly recommend reading all of the Satan’s Devils book to get a full understanding of the story. Meeting up reunited and some more drama what’s not to love.
Being Lost: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1 by Manda Mellett is the next first book in the Satan’s Devils saga that is set in the San Diego chapter. MC President Dart is plagued with a ghost from the past, the old Prez Snake (who was disposed of in an earlier book) is keeping him awake and making him doubt his abilities. Patsy is a loving mum who gave up everything in order to ensure that her youngest son had the best chance of making a new life for himself. Under the protection of the MC Patsy finds her life may be in danger from the very crime boss that made her son need to go into hiding. Lost has an affinity for Patsy and their romance starts to blossom while the MC also comes up with a plan to keep Pasty safe. I am already a big fan of the Arizona Satan’s Devils books, so it was enjoyable to see how the San Diego chapter had changed in the last three years. As with all the other books Satan’s Devils series this book is perfect for those who like an alpha biker doing all he can to protect his woman, with a lovable cast of supporting characters that you just can’t help wanting to learn more about. Looking forward to the next book.
Being Lost: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1 by Manda Mellett
4 Stars!!!!
Wow another series off to a great start. I have read many of this author’s MC series and this is yet again another great start to introducing us to yet another chapter. The characters just jump off of the page and are very realistic. I like how the author is able to bring in just enough drama and intrigue and mix in romance.
I like how Lost and Patsy are in a way each other’s saviour. It really is a lovely romance even though it is wrought at the beginning with danger. I like how the Satan’s Devils are able to keep everyone safe. I like though how this series ties into the other, and how there is a nice little cliffe hanger at the end. I am so intrigued to find out how this little intrigue will tie into the series and how things will begin to unfold. I cannot wait to read more from this author and this series.
Being Lost (Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1) by Manda Mellett , is a great love story. A classic woman in trouble, man stops to help read. It is all that and more. Plenty of action and suspense. Lost is a man unsure of himself and in bondage to his past. Patsy and Lost together have certain aspects of their past they must deal with in order to forge a future. When we allow ourselves to be chained to the past we can never move forward. And sometimes the forward is such a rich adventure, it would be a shame to miss it. This story illustrates that. Be forewarned, there is much mature language in the story and some very mature situations.
Being Lost by Manda Mellett is the first book in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego series. This is yet again the start of an amazing series by a brilliant author.
Every time I pick up a book by this author I know I am going to absolutely love it. This book has everything I have come to expect from her books – strong and engaging characters with an interesting story line to back them up.
The thing I liked the most about this book is that the author created such relatable characters who were also older. It isn’t too often you see an author try this and succeed and yet this author pulls it off with ease. I was instantly drawn to them and was sucked into the story. I found myself flying through this book and really didn’t want it end. This is another strong start and I am already looking forward to what else is to come.
The Satan’s Devils world is probably one of the favorite series of books that I have ever read. They get better every time a new book is released. I feel like these guys are all a part of my family now…and I learn more about them as each book comes out.
Lost is the President of the San Diego club. The previous President did the club dirty and they have been trying to recover ever since. Lost is still unsure if he is doing right by all the members that rely on him.
Patsy has recently moved to San Diego to be with her son. They are starting over and no one is supposed to know who or where they are. When they find themselves in danger, Lost steps in to protect them.
Both Lost and Patsy have been burned by their exes in the past…and are both hesitant to start something. I enjoyed the fact that they were older and had life experiences that shaped their characters. Manda Mellet has, once again, written an amazing book that I thoroughly enjoy. I am looking forward to the next book!
Being Lost (Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1) by Manda Mellett. Just when I think I have found my “favorite “ book, she goes and does it again!!!! Lost was amazing!!!! I absolutely love the San Diego chapter and I can not wait to get all of their stories. We knew Patsy’s back story for Ink and Beth’s book but to see her and Lost come together was great. I will wait patiently (not really) for the next book by Manda!!!! She has become one of my absolute favorite authors.
Being Lost is the first novel in the Satan Devil’s MC San Diego series by Manda Mellet. This is my seventh novel by this author.
I have read a few novels in the universe and I am never disappointed.
Lost is an older male and the President of the San Diego chapter and he has people that depend on him. He is doesn’t have much faith himself.
When Patsy and her son need help, he is there to protect her but warns her of that kind of man he is. A man who can not be depended on nor a man who can trust others.
Despite all that, Patsy needs help and knows that she can find help with the Satan’s Devils.
I am not one for older couples but this really was interesting to read and its something I should read more. Romance isn’t always young couples who grow old together. Couples can be older and still love in the most unexpected way. People can be hurt and still find someone to care for.
I love these books. I keep saying that one day I am going to start from the beginning to get the full impact of the story and characters. I still want to do that, but in the meantime, I get excited whenever a new installment is released.
Being Lost is the first book in Manda Mellett’s Satan’s Devils MC San Diego series. We have been waiting for it for a while now! I love that Manda is venturing out with all those spin- offs! I think the one we are still missing is the Las Vegas Chapter! What it also means, is that there will be so much more goodness coming our way!
In general we are so used to seeing all those young buff guys as the heroes in the MC series, dark and gloomy … it is not very often that we meet someone of Lost’s calibre and age and add to it Patsy and women of mature age will gleefully sit back and loose away some hours in their company! I also love how the writer creates these tangible connections between the mother chapter and the other chapters! Patsy’s daughter is Bethany, Ink’s Old Lady who we met in Ink’s Devil, book #5 in the Colorado Chapter series! Also, I absolutely love the brotherhood and loyalty and standing with all your brothers in the time of need and it also gives us an opportunity to get snippets from the lives of brothers we have met in the other books.
Lost is the prez of the San Diego chapter and his journey to this position has not been a light one … it is so often that he feels like he has been lost for a while now … Patsy has left his old life behind to keep her daughter and son safe and she thinks she is safe in San Diego but one’s past has a tendency of popping up when one does not want or need it and so happens also here … in ride the Satan’s Devils to save the day and off we go! You would think that it would be a fast paced, guns blazing kind of a story but you could not be further from the reality … it flows like a river on a warm summer day, leaving you feel just right!
Dear Manda, thank you for finally giving us San Diego chapter and please keep them’ coming!
This book, along with all the others I’ve read from Manda Mellett, are beautifully written and every character has great purpose. I think she brings out the best in her characters as she’s done with these two. In this book, we meet Lost and we meet Patsy, who unknowingly come into one another’s lives for a purpose bigger than the two of them.
Lost is the definition of his name as he blindly followed Snake, the late president of the MC. The problem with Snake was he was his namesake as well: He’d planned a mutiny under Lost’s nose as he never suspected anything. Lost knows his faults better than anyone else: He’s made mistakes, lost everything, and knows failure. That is until he meets Patsy, who for the sake of her adult children, needs to be protected and Lost is ready to step up to the plate to do what it takes. Lost ignores his gut to scare her off but he does have doubts of his own before he steps up.
Patsy believes she made the right choice to start over but now she has to step out to help her adult kids but she has to shield their identity until they’re discovered. Satan’s Devils are there in the knick of time to save the day. As an older woman and a more experienced woman, Patsy doesn’t need a man to rescue her but who is she to turn down help when she desperately needs it and she knows she has to face the fears she’s been running from.
In order to save Lost, Patsy has to instill confidence and a sense of worth into him so he can not only step up to protect her but to protect the MC as well. Again, I cannot get enough of this writer and her books!
Being Lost: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1 by Manda Mellett is another fantastic book in this new spin off series of the Satan’s Devils MC. And like wind therapy this book is great to settle back and get lost in. Manda is my go to girl for MC books and I am always amazed how she keeps track of all the characters and always makes these alpha men swoon worthy. This book, like the others, has hair raising and on the edge of the seat moments but when this band of brothers come together you know you are in safe hands. It was nice to see the characters were a little older than the norm as well.
Lost is the Prez of the club and a great in shape silver fox who still has the moves but he is content with life but still has doubts about his leadership. That is until he sees Patsy, now all he wants is someone to wrap in his arms and share his life with. But in true biker style nothing is ever that easy.
Patsy has unknowingly been singled out and her life in danger, now she must put her trust in the men of the MC to keep her safe.
This is one series that is timeless and could go on forever and if it does I will be right there with them.
