Loved this steamy, hot, sexy short story! Luke is a sexy, built bouncer at a club and he meets Parker when she attend her sister’s bachelorette party and they go to the club. He loves her curves and they are immediately interested in each other. Love the ending!!!
Loved it! This is a quick bite, and wonderfully short story perfect for reading on your lunch break or while doing laundry. Short on angst, long on inst-love, this hits all the right notes. I love how every book in the series features a couple thrown together by a matchmaker, even though they don’t know it! This one features Luke, a bouncer, and Parker, a paralegal. They meet when Parker shows up with a bachelorette party at the club where Luke works. He’s immediately attracted to her less than revealing attire, and somewhat shy attitude. He makes his move, and that’s all it takes for fate to be fulfilled!
Sweet and sexy and fun and definitely a series I’ll re-read.

Beware the Granny that pinches your cheeks but doesn’t always aim for the ones on your face!!!
Behind the Velvet Rope is the twelfth book in the Zaftig Dating Agency series and this time Mona is finding Luke Wyatt his perfect match. He is forty-one years old, works as a bouncer at a nightclub but is educated and likes literature. Who Mona puts in his path is Parker Gray. She is twenty-four years old, is a paralegal and is about as straight as you can get, but she is also smart. They meet when the bachelorette party for Parker’s sister Marina goes to the Brick nightclub where Luke works. He invites the ladies into the club after spotting them in line and immediately sets his eyes on Parker. She is standing out a bit as all of the ladies are wearing club attire and have been pre-partying while Parker is wearing a daisy print dress that falls below her knees and is conservative to say the least. Plus she is dry like the Sahara as she has not drunk any alcohol. Catching her on their way in Luke asks if he can buy her a drink when he takes his break and she says yes. When he actually does track her down, sitting at a table along the back wall all by herself while the rest of the ladies are on the dance floor, she is more than surprised. As it is too loud in the club he takes her into a back hallway where they can talk and end up sharing a couple heated kisses. Before she knows it he is asking to see her again and she is asking him to be her plus one to her sisters wedding that weekend. What happens at the wedding is fantastic as he shows he is completely besotted by her and will do anything for her to make her happy.
Mona made another fantastic match between Luke and Parker. Luke’s mother, who hired Mona, is going to be very happy as a two years later they are getting ready to announce they are expecting. This is a lovely short story that just has it all

This nice, short, insta love novelette is just right when it comes to likeable characters and steamy scenes. Luke and Parker waste no time letting their attraction for each other show. First impression of Parker is that she is reserved, conservative and maybe a bit prudish, but a few minutes with Luke takes care of that. Luke is one bundle of solid muscular man.

Cute, steamy good times are coming your way. Kismet, in the form of Mona and meddling family members, brings Luke and Parker together. Luke shows her what a man should be like, as her fool of an ex was a moron. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
