AmeliaI’m a fraud.There. You heard it. I won’t say it again. For all the nannies, private tutors, and attendance at one ultra elite academy, one would think I could learn to act like a princess. They would be wrong. My father, the king, has sent me back to the academy as a punishment. His reasoning? If I couldn’t learn to behave myself under such privileged circumstances, perhaps teaching it to … myself under such privileged circumstances, perhaps teaching it to others would cure me of my wicked ways.
Only this time I am older, wiser, and perfectly willing to tangle with the teachers who once terrified me. I’d especially like to get wrapped up with that new professor who just happens to reside in the room next to mine.
I would certainly like to get up close and personal with his dictionary.
Royal Academy is a contemporary romantic comedy involving three royal couples and a long suffering cat.

Princess Amelia Louise Victoria Marie, Lia, was described as being two parts hot mess and one third wild energy along with ALWAYS being a disappointment to her father the King of Hazenbak. So when the last debacle found her drunk, dancing topless at a bar and someone putting it on the internet, her father proclaimed her punishment to be served as a nine month sentence as Instructor of Manners and Deportment at the Royal Academy. If she can pull this off without incident, then he would be satisfied she had become responsible.
Prince Nicholas Hamilton Roberto Leham III had a habit of losing bets. Benedict wanted someone to keep watch over his sister at the Academy and keep her out of trouble without her knowing, so the bet was made between himself, Luke (another friend) and Nick. Yep, you guessed it, Nick lost the bet. Nick had never met Lia. He stayed away from sisters no matter what their ages might be. Sisters always meant trouble and were best to be avoided.
How exciting was this book? Unbelievable! Not only did it have the Royal aspect to it, but the characters S. Cinders has brought to life are lively and fun even through the angst they face. It was so fun going through the journey with the main characters and I’m hoping Scinders will turn this into a series with several more books taking us through the journey of other characters in the book.
A wonderfully good series. This had a bit of everything, intrigue, humor, and of course passion. I enjoyed every single second of this series.
This series was good. I loved the hot, sexy love scenes, yum. I also like that it had both Lia and Benedict’s stories and weddings in this set. One thing have your proofreader be more careful, there were errors. Though all in all a very enjoyable series.
A well written romance that flows nicely of the pages. It has a nice pace to it. Well described characters and a nice story line. I like the relationship between the siblings and that they take care of each other.
A story where you have a family that is royal and who have a lot of scandals and problems escaping the press. Nice twists and hot scenes.
Recommendable.
I wasn’t sure during the first chapter that I was gonna like it. I am very glad I kept going. Princess Amelia has never been her father’s favorite, heck, he barely even liked her. After her latest act of rebellion, causing a media scandal for the royal family she is banished to teach at the Royal Academy. Oh dear, she’s reliving her worst nightmare…high school meanies. I really enjoyed laughing at some of Lia’s antics and how her students took over her fashion life. The relationship she has with her brother was really sweet. His best friend, Prince Nicholas, lost as bet and was sent to the Royal Academy as a professor to keep an eye on her. It was a wonderful story that only took a few hours to read and it was really good. I loved Amelia and how quirky she is. Nick got a lot more than he expected and she saw what it would be like to have a loving family, when she met his. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
A book about lia who use to go to the royal academy herself and now she is teaching there herself as part of a deal she has with her parents.
The students make fun of her clothes and her.
That is until 2 of her students give her a makeover and new wardrobe.
One of the other teachers nick and lia start a relationship.
A wonderful book about finally being accepted by your students and having the opposite sex interested in you.
Can their relationship work?

S. Cinders tale weaves a fun tale in Royal Academy, Volume 1.
I loved the pairing of Lia and Nicholas. They were such a couple, especially in the beginning. There relationship was built beautifully and the tension between them was palapable.
The ending was perfect. I love HEAs!!! I can’t wait for the next book!
When Princess Amelia (Lia) Victoria Marie Vicenza of Hazenbak is banished to The Royal Academy to teach Manners and Deportment, she’s not exactly thrilled. For one, she hated her time at The Royal Academy when she was a student who never fit in, and two, she’s not a teacher, so what does she know about teaching a bunch of bratty teens? To make things worse, she finds she’s rooming right next door to the insufferably gorgeous fellow professor who smirks at her and made her look stupid in front of her class. Poor Lia!
Poor Lia indeed, actually, because she’s only at The Royal Academy because her father is a complete ass, a cold, distant King who has never shown anything but disappointment and disdain toward his only daughter. But, Lia has a bright spot in her life – her elder brother, Prince Benedict (Ben). What Lia doesn’t know is that Ben had made a bet with his friend, Prince Nicholas of Meron, the insufferably gorgeous fellow professor of Lia’s, so now Nick is at The Royal Academy to watch over Ben’s trouble-making little sister. If only he could remember that she’s a “sister” and he’s not to touch or think of a “sister” as anything but a little girl he has to watch over for his friend. Surely he can manage that, right?
The sparks between Nick and Lia are entertaining to read, and their fun, sexy journey to love is a great take on a royal romance. Now I can’t wait for Ben and Sally’s story next!
S. Cinders books always draw me into the story quickly with a likable protagonist and an interesting setup. Lia is particularly likable with an added layer of vulnerability and undiscovered strength beneath. The other main characters are well done and I’d like to see more of them. Royal Academy is a great fairy tale of a royal romance and I highly recommend it to romance lovers. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I am really loving royal books right now, and though some have let me down, this one definitely did not! I loved this book. The writing style is great, the characters and plot are amazing, and it had a bit of everything in the storyline, which I appreciate. It made me smile and swoon and bite my lip in anticipation. Worthy of all five stars! I received an advanced copy of this book for my honest opinion!

This is a well written book with the author bringing a multitude of characters and weaves a story filled with intrigue, drama and love. She gives Amelia and Nick a hot chemistry and romance. It was fun watching their relationship evolve from fighting like cats and dogs to a hot steamy love. There were laugh out loud moments as well as deep emotions. I was hooked from start to finish reading their story.I recommend this book.

I found this book to be a very enjoyable read with the well written storyline and well rounded characters which kept me totally hooked until the turn of the very last page!
This is a good story I hope this is the beginning of a series as this book a far as I am concerned left on a cliff-hanger or at least a tie into another book to follow. This is mainly Princess Lia Vicenza and Prince Nick Lehman who are teaching at The Royal Academy. Lia’s brother Benedict had a bet with Nick and his other friend Luke and Nick lost so Nick has to watch over Lia. I enjoy watching the interaction between both Lia and Nick and also Benedict. Believing in herself…
Lia has spent most of her life being bullied. Unfortunately, most of it came from her father. That bullying has left her with little belief in herself. Her brother Ben is her only true ally. His protectiveness is what leads Nick to Lia. This is a very nice story. Although it does kinda end with the realization that there has to be another story…there just has to be.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I really enjoyed reading this story about Lia and Nick. Lia is the Princess of Hazenbak and she is currently trying to get into her father’s good graces by teaching manners at the Royal Academy. Price Nicholas of Meron, Nick to his friend Benedict, Lia’s brother, has lost a bet and is now at the Royal Academy to keep an eye on Lia. But no one knows he’s a Prince at the school. But neither one of them planned on the sparks that fly between them. Lia is a little shy and backwards, perfering her own style that dealing with stylist. The kids won’t listen to her and are rude to her. Her lesson plans are premade and are awful Nick finds her lesson plans boring and are basically a set up to get her info trouble. The Dean decides that they should work together to finish the year, once they do things start going smoother, kids are listening and learning. After some crazy run into work a cat and a dead mouse, the chemistry is undeniable between them. A shared kiss and the craziness begins. Lia’s father demands her to come home, the press let’s Lia know about Nick’s Prince status and she is blown away. Follow them as they learn to work together and as their feelings develop. Experience the balls and dances and trips they take together. You can’t wait to see what happens next.
