Jenna sure makes a good amount of bad decisions in her life. First, she hooked up with her professor and then she hooks up with the bartender. Her friend left her and she has no money to pay for her drinks. She was flirting with him all night and he was making free drinks for her. She had to repay him, right?
3.5 stars from me on this one. I did enjoy it, but wow was it short! I wanted so much more!!
Jenna is out at a bar with her friend to try and drink away her problems. Unfortunately her friend is called to help another friend so she is left at the bar with no purse, no money and no way home. Luckily the good looking bartender decides to help her. Since Jenna is trying to get over sleeping with her professor (he’s married), she is wary of making any more mistakes. But after a few drinks, she’s game for anything. Sam the bartender is willing to help her. The morning after is a different story. Things aren’t always as they seem plus there is a twist. Enjoyable story.

This is a quick short story that is well-written and a story I liked reading. Jenna lost everything when she slept with her professor, a night out with friends and she hooks up with Sam the bartender. Is Sam really a bartender or is Jenna in for a big surprise? Cute story. Jenna was going to college to get her degree. She just lost her job and her home and was flat broke. Sam was a very sexy bartender who looks after her when she is stranded at his bar. A very enjoyable read. I don’t know if it has been edited yet or not as there were quite a few errors,. Hopefully not and they can be corrected.
Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author.

Jenna and her best friend, Kansas, were knocking back drinks, with Jenna trying to get over no longer having a place to live, being out of a job, and out of her program – getting caught with her professor/advisor by his wife in their shower was so not a good idea. Kansas sent her to the bar with an order and said to give this napkin to the bartender… which turned out to be her phone number, and he knew she hadn’t written it. While waiting for the drink order, a drunk grabbed her in the crowded room and dumped his drink on her. He made lewd suggestions about coming home with him to take the web clothing off and she shoved him away. He didn’t take the hint and painfully grabbed her arm and gave her a hard time – then suddenly he was gone? The bartender had broken the guy’s nose and his friends dragged him away. Jenna checked her buzzing phone to find Kansas had left her – and her own wallet was in Kansas’ purse – to go rescue their other friend whose car broke down! Jenna had no money and could not get a cab home; busses had stopped running an hour ago. And then the bartender asked if she needed help getting the huge drink order to her table!
Sam introduces himself as she starts drinking the tray of drinks! He offers her a dry shirt which he has upstairs where he lives. He also offered to get the stains out of her white blouse. He even offered for her to stay overnight, or he would drive her home. As she looked at the pictures he had, she saw her deceased brother standing next to him in one! They had been friends and he had heard all about Justin’s little sister, Jenna! As he mentioned the frat party she crashed years ago, she remembered the guy who protected her from another jerk and realized he was her protector! Already they have a history! And he had wanted her way back then too! But this is not the only surprise waiting for her. Where will the new revelations lead her? What path will her future take now?
This was an interesting story line, how Jenna’s past and present came together like it did. Jenna seemed like such a screw-up, but it made for humorous situations. I would recommend an editor to catch all the little word errors to make the book more readable. But other than that, I think the reader would enjoy this one.
This is a solid read – fast pace and consistent. It is an engaging page turner with fantastic dialogue. This is a gripping read that is emotionally deep and intriguing. The writing is fluid and flows smoothly. The humour, intrigue, witty banter, and sex scenes make this book a compelling read. Definitely recommended! This is a quick and steamy read but also a story that is not exactly what it seems which makes it even better. Jenna is struggling with life, she is making poor decisions and has reached an all time low. She goes out her best friend and gets left at the bar as her friend is off to rescue another friend. What is one last bad decision, what the heck its Valentine’s Day? What could possibly go wrong……or right?

This is a short story that is almost straight to the sex scenes. It has a really good storyline and could have been even better as a regular length book.

A very short romance between Jenna who’s a bit adrift after a scandal involving her affair with her married professor, and Sam, the hot bartender she hooked up with the night before the start of her new job.
Told in Jenna’s POV only, and devoid of details about her beloved brother’s death, this story got straight to the point and had a sweetish backstory and mutual history.
Short, Sweet, and sexy.
