It was very good.
Ties a past event to current bad events in a community, captivating story.
I almost quit at the half-way point for lack of interest, but then the plot took off. I think the characters could have been better fleshed-out and the mafia connection was not really necessary to the plot. An enjoyable, easy read.
THe mind of the killer was twisted and kept getting more and more hard to understand. The killer’s motivations were unearthed slowly while the PI on the case is also dealing with a lot of personal tragedy. Very complex.
finished this book in two days could not put it down.a must read.
There was definitely suspense and a few surprises
This book was a page turner. It kept me on the edge of my seat all the way to the ending
Enjoyed this story – two mysteries in one — an older mystery and the current day mystery. I like Cheryl Bradshaw — think she is an excellent writer.
Great book
Will have to keep reading the series to see what happens to these interesting characters.
Just when you thought you had it figured out things change when you turn the page. An interesting look into the dark minds of small town America.
I wish that the story stayed on the original 2 characters instead of going off on a completely different story in the book. I got bored half way through the book and deleted it from my collection.
great read
great mystery
The author has a great way keeping you wanting to see what is in the next paragraph then the next chapter and you find yourself not wanting to stop
I thoroughly enjoyed this read. The characters were realistically and interestingly flawed. It was often impossible to label anyone the hero, and this knit together a very interesting tale. The wordsmithing was wonderful and it was like watching a movie at times.
Good
I don’t do the writing
Okay read, it started out promising but…. I was happy when I finished it.
I thought it was a good book.
