From the first few pages the author builds two plots. The story goes one to weave them together as interesting sub plots are created. Reader must try to decide it subplots have any value in solving the mystery or only a diversion. Reader is always given slightly more information on each character developed by author.
This book was really easy to read; it was if the pages kept turning themselves. The juxtaposition between the past and present keeps the reader on their toes while trying to solve crime. This story keeps you guessing.
A good whodunnit.
Really enjoyed this book. Good plot and interesting characters. Liked the surprise twist at the end.
Keeps you on the edge
I can’t say, “Don’t read this book.” I read the entire thing, it was fine. I just cannot say that I absolutely recommend it, ya know?
Great story!
God awful dialogue and irratating characters.
Pretty good mystery, with a “didn’t see it coming” ending
Luved it

Great characters
Well written, good characters, entertaining.
I enjoyed this book
Good read. Will check out this author for more of their books.
Currently reading this, and am enjoying it. It moves along, is gently, well written, with a touch of background deep caring. My first exposure to this author, and a pleasant one.
This book is interesting but sketchy with distractions and shallow characters.
I planed on reading one chapter nightly, I was wrong. The investigation drew me in and held my intereste until the end of the story. Enjoyed the investigation and being part of the mystery. This is an author, whose books I will read and enjoy.
A bit of a twist at the end.
Didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought. Couldn’t wait to finish it, so I could get on to something else.
